Prologue - Two alliances, two visions

In Kingdom 66, conflicts don't always arise from spontaneous impulses. When they aren't rooted in a cry of rage, they are sometimes the product of an excessively long silence. But sometimes, they also stem from an inappropriate action, a misjudged expectation.

NpW, on the other hand, advanced like a disciplined force. Every strike was deliberate, every step measured. The alliance didn't seek chaos, but rather the weak point; its reputation rested not on that, but on precision, not chance.

This doesn't dissimilar to 7FD, which, for its part, represented resistance. They believed in a solid wall, in last-minute reinforcements, in the ability to hold out longer than the adversary imagined. Perhaps it wasn't so much military strength as moral strength. The capacity to endure.

But that night, Kingdom 66 was about to put that to the test.

A member of the NpW alliance, Not Nolram is a spearman. And he doesn't attack impulsively. He observes first. He lets time do its work, letting weakness sink to the shore. His specialty, with regard to his preferred weapon, is not accidental: square, precise, and with rigorous timing, rather than jerky, random, and hasty, his strikes are the fruit of his spear specialization.

But where he truly shines isn't so much in his numerical attributes, but rather in his profound understanding of the battlefield, allowing him to adjust the frequency of his ambitious attacks, to press forward when necessary, to wait for what is expected, and above all, to anticipate the moment when his teammate will begin to doubt himself. He's not a flamboyant player, but a anointed one, relentlessly wearing down his opponent with an inevitable intensity.

A member of the 7FD alliance, Cloud Strif8 is the committed defender. He's one of the more reliable players, convinced of the virtues of the wall, reinforcements, and cooperation. On the attack, he doesn't panic immediately: he reorganizes, readjusts, and calls for backup.

Relying more on resilience than aggression, he is accustomed to setbacks and rebuilding. But, in this type of duel, the greatest difficulty is not facing the opposing troops, but withstanding the shock of doubt as the blows accumulate.

A Subtle Tension

At first glance, a complete calm. A few discernible movements, aborted marches, scouts on watch. Normal activity.

Yet, upon closer inspection, those scrutinizing the plans saw no improvisation. The trajectories they could discern were not random. The deliberate pauses were calculated.

Cloud Strif8 requested reinforcements, but without any particular haste. The wall seemed intact. The buffs activated. The defense ready for action.

From a distance, Not Nolram waited for the right moment, the right rhythm. Not to strike hard. To strike at the right time.

⚔️ First Attack - The Invisible Fissure

The first salvo didn't advance in a frenzied chaos, but with carefully directed pressure. In close formation, the spears advanced, solely intended to test the strength of the defenses.

Cloud Strif8 greeted the initial reports with confidence. Reinforcements were on their way. The defense held firm. The wall absorbed the blows.

But the initial aim of the attack wasn't to break them. It was to unbalance them, first and foremost.

Losses were beginning to mount in the 7FD camp. Medical treatment was starting. Messages were pouring in. Nothing catastrophic yet… but a disturbing feeling was taking hold: that of being in a constant state of observation and reaction.

The first attack revealed the most undeniable truth: NpW was in control.

Not Norram Wins 33M vs. Cloud Strif8 170M

Cloud Strif8 was still standing after the initial impact. The castle wasn't ablaze. But the weight of the loss was heavy. It wasn't a decisive defeat. An opening, however.

And an opening in a war often signifies a point of no return.

⚔️ Second Attack - The Trembling Wall

The second attack was more intense. Fewer dodges. Less suspense.

Cloud Strif8 understood that this wasn't about tactics, but about outmaneuvering the enemy. Reinforcements were injected with more ferocity. Orders were shorter. Concentration was more intense.

When it came time to strike, the spear hit differently. Here, the strategy was to exploit the poor synchronization of the reinforcements. Every small mistake became costly.

The wall still held. But the resistance no longer had the same rigidity, the same strength. You could feel the pain, the weariness. Medical attention piled up. The losses mounted.

In 7FD, a subtle and unsettling doubt crept in: what if the next thrust was one too many?

Not Nolram maintained a cold logic. Dissociating 'spectacular destruction', he opted for 'attrition'.

Not Nolram wins 18M against Cloud Strif8's 204M.

The numbers spoke volumes. Cloud Strif8 was absorbing more than the castle could expand. It was still holding, still resisting, seemingly; but the psychological pressure was mounting.

The hardest part wasn't losing, it was feeling like your opponent was always one step ahead.

⚔️ Third Attack - The Decisive Moment

Then, there was silence.

The footsteps had vanished. The commotion had faded. The echo of a few minutes that seemed like an eternity.

This silence brought with it a flood of uncertainty. Was this the end? Were these traps?

In 7FD, the tension ratchets up a notch. While some wanted to withdraw reinforcements to avoid losses, others began discussing maintaining the defense at all costs, sparking an internal debate. These discussions brought to the surface a vulnerability that had resurfaced.

Cloud Strif8 was then forced to decide on the nature of his rescue strategy: preserving what remained of his troops or feigning a desperate attempt at salvation.

Then came the march.

Less massive, faster. More efficient, more targeted. Less massive, but perfectly optimized.

On impact, the defense tried to hold. For a few seconds, it seemed the wall would absorb the shock again. But something had given way, poorly and too late restoring a functional balance. A slight desynchronization. A sudden confidence. A hesitation resolved, in a single second.

And a second is all it takes.

The battle turned without any element of surprise. It simply crumbled.

A threat still hung over Not Norram for a brief moment: the need for a massive last-minute reinforcement, which risked the attacker's death. This risk demanded a fragile acceptance of the moment.

But no reinforcements arrived.

The final report was then deemed necessary..

Cloud Strife8 Loses His Lord

The loss of the lord could have significantly shifted the battle towards a dreaded outcome.

The bulwark had just lost its center.

📜 Conclusion - The Timing of a Fall

On Realm 66, this struggle didn't begin with a moment of triumphant rhetoric, but rather a long crescendo. Each offensive slightly tipped the scales, eroding the defender's faith and increasing the attacker's.

The first strike cracked the shell of the imperceptible.

The second placed a greater burden than the losses on doubt.

The third simply capitalized on that very doubt at a time when the resistance wasn't yet fully united, but not quite.

Not Nolram didn't win by sheer force, but by tactics. He allowed his opponent to accept, reform, and be snatched up before wearing them down and waiting for the precise moment of hesitation to arise. When that moment came, he didn't let it slip away.

Cloud Strif8, on the other hand, held fiercely. He defended to the very end because the pressure was mounting and fatigue was creeping in strategically, not gently, but relentlessly. But sometimes, in GOTWIC, anything is possible with the right positioning.

That night, it was NpW who remained on the clock.

And Kingdom 66 as a silent witness.
