Stop having updates during major events

During AOW an event that takes place twice a year there was an update that caused issues.

Now Glorious Battle is taking place (twice a year event?) and you do an update that caused most not to be able to log into the game.

Now we are having another update to hopefully fix what the last update screwed up. lol

So what is it 12 hours now most have not been able to lo into the game due to updates? (is this a record)

PLEASE stop doing updates during major events that only take place twice a year.
