The battles in the seven kingdoms showed no sign of abating.

After witnessing an exciting match between FFS and FDH, where the former managed to prevail in a match fought until the last second, one thing was clear to Neik and HOH: if they didn't want to be eliminated in their next round of Ultimate Conquest, they had to win against FDH, the rival they had already faced in the opening match of the competition, from which they emerged defeated.

Preparations to get there in the best possible condition were proceeding apace, but there were still a few days to go before the eagerly awaited clash, and first another event came to the doorstep of the Westeros fighters.

The K345 group was on its way to the battlefield, ready to do battle with the rivals who would stand in their way in the upcoming 60 minutes of combat. Their main goal was to obtain the rewards that the event would guarantee them if they achieved their goals, given their rarity.

They would fight in...

Champion City Siege

When Neik and his companions arrived at the arena, they immediately encountered familiar faces such as Grombold in BBY, whom the HOH member immediately proposed to join forces with. His idea was to avoid wasting troops and resources unnecessarily by joining forces with a strong group in order to reserve all their energy for the UC match on the horizon. The proposal was accepted without much trouble by their former ally, who today would lead the BBY forces alongside light Yagami and ImperialRock.

However, their match was far from easy, as formidable groups would stand in the way of their ambition to occupy the three places on the final podium of the match!

8R5: This was undoubtedly the largest group on the battlefield and would be led by none other than top-level fighters such as bzzb and Relax.

FDH: Although not very numerous on the southeast side of the arena, the group led by NapoleonX and Astrryx posed a serious threat to the city's defenders with their offensive strength, even if they were unlikely to be able to successfully defend the walls in the event of a conquest due to a lack of supporting allies.

“It will be BBY against 8R5, they will decide which members will top the rankings,” Neik told his ally Ferrious during the final preparations, seeing the determination in his rivals' eyes to prevail today.

“It won't be easy at all. Both groups have great offensive strength that will strike the city's defenses, and on top of that, there's also FDH, and we know what they're capable of,” she replied.

The battle was imminent. The storm of the previous days seemed to have subsided today, giving the inhabitants of Westeros a respite, even though the freezing cold persisted in the continent's long winter. Crows cawed in the sky above the target, which would soon be stormed by the bravest fighters deployed on the ground.  

When the long-awaited moment arrived and the city opened its gates, the first to reach it and conquer it was... Light Yagami for BBY!

Without wasting a moment, his allies, including Neik himself, sent him all the support he needed before the waves of attacks came from his fierce rivals. In this way, he was able to easily repel the rapid blows delivered by his opponents, who hoped to take him by surprise with their speed.

The first wave of rallies from both 8R5 and FDH arrived within minutes: their timing was remarkable. The battle to defend the city was bloody, and the losses under the rival attacks were also unexpectedly high, but the BBY member managed to remain in command and repel them. 

The renowned fighting prowess of Light Yagami and his Bleeding-Inf formation was feared and known to all combatants in Westeros, and today he was proving why.

As the minutes passed, the blows became harder for the defense to withstand. Resisting the coordinated assaults of rivals such as RElax, bzzb, Astrryx, and NapoleonX was no easy feat, yet even in the later stages, the BBY fighter succeeded thanks to the support of his allies, who sent him the troops he needed to cover those who had fallen in exhausting combat.

“We're doing a great job with the reinforcements, let's keep it up,” said ImperialRock in an attempt to spur on his allies.

Everything seemed to be going well, until...

After a long series of devastating attacks, an unexpectedly decisive blow was struck by one of the most feared enemies deployed in 8R5: bzzb!

His Bleeding-Inf formation managed to break through after a decline in the troops supporting light Yagami's defenses.

It was now up to BBY to attempt to besiege the city walls, which would certainly be well defended by their rival. It was not an easy task for them. “Let's prepare for the attack,” said the group's leadership. 

When the first series of attacks organized by the faction's rallyleaders reached their destination, the winner was... the defense! The support from the members of 8R5 arrived with almost perfect timing, allowing their ally to remain in command, albeit by a narrow margin!

Without wasting a moment, a new series of assaults was launched by BBY, optimistic that they could break down the defenses that had previously faltered considerably. This time... they were right! After a series of hard blows delivered at just the right moment, the decisive one was by MAKIMA, who managed to repel their rival from the city!

What Neik saw with his own eyes next was a unique and rare event that left him speechless!

A perfectly executed swap by his allies put control of the city in the safe hands of ImperialRock, who was designated to take first place in the final match rankings. It was a difficult and dangerous decision that almost cost them control of 8R5. “Incredible,” commented the HOH member, who had rarely seen a swap in CCS. 

The arduous task of overcoming an opponent like ImperialRock, who commanded the city, passed into the hands of his rivals, who in the following stages tried everything they could to break through his defenses. However, the vast experience and combat skills of the BBY member and his Weakness-Spear formation, together with the still willing allies who wanted to support the group's cause by sending troops in support, made life difficult for them.

As the minutes passed, however, more and more allies began to abandon the battlefield once they had achieved their personal goals of obtaining the 60 battle diamonds with a score of 1.5 million points as a requirement. The few who remained alongside their allies, such as Neik himself, had an increasingly difficult task in supporting them.

Until...

This time, it was RElax who managed to break through ImperialRock's defenses!

The Bleeding-Inf formation, which countered their rival's Weakness-Spear, managed to gain the upper hand after a long series of waves of attacks, taking control of the city.

The BBY members now had a difficult task ahead of them. With first and second place still up for grabs for light Yagami and ImperialRock, the group had to roll up their sleeves and lay siege to the city walls to prevent their rival from claiming the top spot on the final podium.

The assaults began a few minutes later. Time was certainly not on their side, as they now had to contend with a high-level rival defending the city, backed by a much larger group.

Despite this...

The recapture of the objective was a success!

The coordination between rallyleaders such as those deployed in BBY, who struck the defenses almost simultaneously, managed to completely wipe out the number of allied troops available to support the 8R5 member, who did not have the necessary time! 

Light Yagami, who took the lead once again, managed to repel the numerous waves of attacks and, once he had consolidated his second place, attempted a daring move...

In an attempt to allow another BBY ally to take the lowest place on the podium temporarily occupied by rival bzzb, the group's leadership decided to make a swap, but this was anticipated by the rival!

This had the opposite effect, giving the 8R5 member the opportunity to consolidate third place on the podium with a few minutes of possession, which was enough time for BBY's fighters to organize assaults to break down the defenses again. Although they were successful, it was too late for them to get another ally on the podium!

Final ranking:

The final rankings saw Imperial Rock and Light Yagami occupy first and second place, followed closely by bzzb, who fought hard until the very last minute.

The match demonstrated that coordination and the spirit of sacrifice among allies were more important than the number of allies available.

Rewards:

“Thanks for the battle,” said Neik before returning to K345 with his allies. The HOH member could now enjoy the coveted rewards, such as the 60 battle diamonds crucial for upgrading his equipment in preparation for future battles, earned with limited energy and troop expenditure thanks to the idea of joining another group in battle.

The most anticipated clash of their season was now on the horizon. FDH awaited them in the immediate future in what would be a do-or-die battle for both alliances.
