Welcome Lords and Ladies to the thirteenth round of Arena of Honor, our fourth season is nearly done but we have a few exciting rounds left to go! Tonight, we have a new challenger trying to make his way to the coveted King rank, Moshow2 has been struggling of late but he finds himself like many others scrambling to finish on a high. Will this challenger make his goal in time or has the Arena of Honor cracked another warrior?

Moshow2 has been favoring the offensive route when it comes to strongholds,” I think we should make spearmen strongholds, I have a feeling our opponents will build cavalry strongholds and we can counter them,” Moshow2 knew the Watch Towers contained infantry units so logically everyone would make cavalry to counter them. “The only problem with this strategy is we won’t get the first capture points on the Watch Towers but I think it will be worth it to counter our opponents,” Moshow2 was taking a gamble with this strategy if his opponents switched up their strongholds it would make things difficult for his team.

BjM quickly took the mantle of leadership with Moshow2, “this is a high-risk strategy, we could just make Trading Posts and hope we are strong enough to fight for the Glory City, this would be the easiest route,” BjM was hoping he could change Moshow2’s mind but he had no luck.
As for the Arena of Honor, it starts with six teams who fight for objectives on the map, each objective provides a first capture amount and then points over time, the team with the most points at the end of the match wins. “Moshow2 is our strongest warrior, so he will be rallying the Glory City, let’s hope there are no strong spearmen warriors on the battlefield today,” BjM knew Moshow2 had strong cavalry but spearmen can cause problems and they had no strong infantry warrior to counter them.

Finally, the teams entered the arena and cheers could be heard from House Stark, “not only is Moshow2 the strongest warrior in House Stark but also on the battlefield, the Glory City is ours,” BjM was less combative with the idea of making offensive strongholds if the Glory City was guaranteed. As the strongholds opened, most teams started making offensive strongholds and as predicted they were cavalry based, “our spearmen strongholds will do wonders against all this cavalry, House Tyrell, Greyjoy and Baratheon seem to have less experienced warriors on the battlefield, we should focus them and take their altars when every possible,” Moshow2 saw the main threats and they were House Lannister and House Targaryen but he didn’t want to count the other Houses out, not yet at least.

House Targaryen led by the impressive THORss, “wow these teams around us haven’t even taken their first altar, this is great for us, we can focus on building our strongholds quickly to level 3 and then try to take as many altars as possible,” THORss had built cavalry strongholds but he was going to be in for a surprise when House Stark send spearmen from their strongholds. “House Baratheon should be our first target then we can move on to House Greyjoy, follow the plan and we should do well in this match,” THORss could see a difference in power when it came to them and the two Houses next to them but there was a long way to go in this match and anything can happen.

Finally, we have the Dark horse for this match House Lannister led by the determined MOrgoth, “Altars of the Warrior are our goal for the match, they will buff our strongholds, House Stark has made spearmen strongholds, which might be a problem in the future but if they cut their supply of Altars of the Warrior it shouldn’t be a problem,” MOrgoth knew the first capture points were important and that’s what he wanted, they could always change their strongholds if things became difficult.
As the first fifteen minutes of the match passed by it was House Lannister and House Targaryen that took a Watch Tower each with House Lannister taking the lead. “They have the lead for now but it won’t be long before our next batch of spearmen attack their Watch Tower and take it,” Moshow2 was confident in the strategy especially with altars from the weaker Houses being taken so easily. “We have the lead, House Stark may become a threat to us, should we change our strongholds to counter theirs or continue?” MOrgoth could sense danger but his team wanted to power through with altar buffs, could this decision be the one that causes the downfall of House Lannister? Lords and Ladies, we have six teams all vying for your support, let your cheers lend them strength. Stay tuned for the thirteenth round of Arena of Honor!

House Lannister began targeting Altars of the Warrior around the battlefield, “I’ll be taking one of House Lannister’s altars, they don’t have a spearmen warrior to counter me,” Moshow2 quickly focused on House Lannister he knew the rest of his team could deal with the other Houses. House Lannister still held the lead but it was being slowly eaten away by House Targaryen and House Stark, “we lost our Watch Tower to House Stark, they have spearmen strongholds, we can’t match them,” MOrgoth knew he had to abandon his cavalry stronghold strategy and started making Trading Posts in the second row. On the other hand, House Greyjoy was stuck in fifth place fighting with House Tyrell for the consolation prize of 4th place. “We got lucky today, our opponents are much weaker than usual, let’s not waste this opportunity, first place has our name written on it today,” BjM wasn’t going to let this match go to waste, he wanted max points today and the only thing that stood in his way was House Lannister.

The Dragonpits became the next point of contention, “we hold two Dragonpits, can we defend both is the question,” Moshow2 targeted House Lannister again by taking the closest Dragonpit to them, in hopes they wouldn’t attack the one that was being taken closest to House Stark. “House Stark is becoming too strong, we can’t afford to let them capture multiple Dragonpits,” THORss knew buffs were crucial for the upcoming Glory City fight and he wasn’t content with a third-place finish. In the end House Stark would lose one of the Dragonpits to House Targaryen, who captured two Dragonpits and were gaining on House Lannister who found themselves in second place due to the Watch Towers changing hands.

All eyes would turn to the Glory City as the Dragonpit fights were over for now, “I will rally the Glory City, prepare for multiple rallies coming our way,” Moshow2 quickly took the Glory City with his cavalry and with no strong spearmen warrior in sight he was looking to fully capture the Glory City in a few minutes time. “Our Dragonpit buffs should help us now, ready the rallies, he’s strong but not invincible,” THORss knew it was up to House Targaryen to reset the Glory City as House Lannister seemed to be fading away. “I suggest we concentrate on taking back our altars while the main two Houses fight for the Glory City, we are mainly an infantry team, so we have no chance against his cavalry,” MOrgoth was being realistic but also saying the quiet part out loud, his team was no match for House Stark and he knew it. In the end it was House Stark that would capture the Glory City with all of House Targaryen’s rallies bouncing off the wall of the Glory City.

As the battle for the Glory City ended a new frontier opened with the Mineshafts now becoming crucial for House Lannister to save themselves from falling into third place. “The Mineshafts are not as important for us but we should at least take some of the ones that are closes to use,” BjM could see the main fight now was between House Lannister and House Targaryen for second place with first place being secured with the capture of the Glory City. It all came down to this for these two teams, if House Lannister could secure more Mineshafts than House Targaryen, they would cement their second-place finish. The stakes were high with only 2k point separating the two teams House Lannister even attacked House Stark’s Mineshafts to edge out their competition. “They have more Mineshafts than us, we need to take them back or third place is as high as we can get,” THORss was seeing the writing on the wall, he was stuck on a Mineshaft with no way to take any back from House Lannister, his only chance now was making a last-ditch effort against the Glory City but that was a long shot.
Meanwhile House Baratheon had lost their clan castle and were lounging around in last place with no hope in sight, their leader called the match and they remained in last place for the rest of the match. House Tyrell had already secured their fourth place with the capture of two Mineshafts which left House Greyjoy in fifth place respectively.

The final six minutes of the match arrived and House Targaryen had no choice but to go all in and try a last-ditch effort against the might of House Stark.” We can’t catch House Lannister anymore but we can take it all with one last rally on the Glory City, we have nothing to lose, forget about the altars, we can lose them and still remain in third place, help me one last time,” THORss knew they didn’t have enough troops in the dying minutes of the match but he went for it anyway. The gap between House Lannister and House Targaryen had ballooned to 7k but if House Targaryen took the Glory City, they could take second place from them. The final rally of the match started their march towards the Glory City, all of House Lannister was praying for the success of House Stark and their prayers were answered as THORss final rally crashed against the walls of the Glory City and House Targaryen’s hope faded with it.

As the final minute ticked away House Stark celebrated a well-deserved win,” we won with a 100k points lead, this was the most dominant win I’ve ever had in Arena of Honor, thanks everyone for your support,” Moshow2 unfortunately was a few points short of King rank but he enjoyed his time in House Stark. “The offensive strongholds worked wonders against our opponents Clan Castles, I’m going to take that into account when deciding for or against this strategy again,” BjM learnt how powerful offensive strongholds could be but he still preferred the Trading Post route.
On the other hand, House Targaryen were deflated with their third-place finish, “we could have just ignored the Glory City like House Lannister and secured second place but we went for glory instead, “THORss regretted nothing, he went for the win and he would do the same again in a heartbeat.
