💠Introduction

What’s up, folks? With so many new events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest, where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Illusion Battlefield League

The seventh round of the IBL Points Phase concluded with not many changes in the rankings. Most of the Conquest Servers took the weekend off to prepare for KvK. They removed all their players from every alliance. Most of the matchups were between servers in Seasons 1 and 2.

Server 345’s DK defeated Server 336’s DL.
Server 243’s KoV defeated Server 344’s HOT.
Server M018 narrowly beat Server M015’s LiT.

Since a lot of teams didn’t play this week, there weren’t significant changes in the top eight ranks. Only the latter half of the rankings shifted a little.

Server 73’s BUNS stayed in first place with a 6-0 record, unchanged from last week.
Server 73’s CUBS stayed in second with a 6-0 record, unchanged from last week.
Server 73’s ARC remained third with a 5-0 record, unchanged from last week.
Server 345’s LC moved up to fourth with a 6-1 record, up from fifth after winning their match.
Server 13’s TYT moved up to fifth with a 5-0 record, up from sixth after winning.
Server M016’s ICE moved into sixth with a 5-0 record, up from being outside of the top eight after winning their match.
Server 275’s SA dropped to seventh with a 5-1 record, down from fourth after skipping the weekend.
Server M005’s JLA moved into eighth with a 5-1 record, up from being outside of the top eight after winning their match.

Some notable and potentially close matches this week come from servers who are closely ranked in the top ranks.

Server M016’s ICE will battle Server 345’s LCE to determine who’s definitively better at 14:00 UTC.
Server 275’s SA will look to break Server 73’s ARC’s win streak at 20:00 UTC.

💠Legion of Frostborne

A new season of Legion of Frostborne is underway. Matchmaking was completed, factions were chosen, and federations were made this week. Many of the Conquest Season brackets are going to be very one-sided on paper. One side is much too strong for the other.

In Region 306, Servers 145 and 209 drew the short ends of the stick as they matched up against Servers 105 and 136, one of the top servers after receiving migrators from Server 170. 209 reside in Ember, 136 and 105 chose Terra, and 145 picked Hydro. Terra has a huge edge in terms of firepower.
In Region 308, Server M014 is the David against Server 38’s Goliath. 38 chose Ember, and M014 picked Zephyr. 38 also placed high-tiered players in Zephyr. As of this article, M014 only has one city, while 38 control four cities.
In Region 312, Servers M06, 16, and 73 have a tough battle ahead of them against Server 231. 231 is in Ember, and the others are in Hydro. They won’t meet until Zone 2 opens.

💠Equipment Modification Teaser

This weekend, the Infinity Kingdom Facebook teased a new equipment modification system coming out with the castle level 60 update in the coming months. There are requirements that the equipment must meet before it can be modified. Firstly, it must be Legendary+ quality. Secondly, the element associated with the equipment must match the immortal’s element. Finally, the equipment must have reached level 60. From these conditions, we can surmise that once the equipment is taken off an immortal, the modification will cease to work or disappear entirely. We can also reasonably deduce that the equipment could potentially be leveled. Additionally, equipment could also develop multiple attributes. Stay tuned for more details.

💠Summary

The top ranks haven't changed much from last week due to most teams on Conquest Servers taking the week off for KvK. Legion of Frostborne started again and the three brackets where the top three Conquest Servers are in will likely be one-sided. A new equipment modification system was teased on Facebook.
