Just back from a successful comeback from one of the worst hunts in his history, Dae was once again in form — focused, relaxed, and burning with an inner determination. The mistakes of the past still flashed brightly in his memory: wasted resources, miscalculated formations, and targets that were more costly than they were worth. But there was no time now to indulge in them. The spark was in his blood again. He was ready to hunt again.

This time, the road led him back to Kingdom 233, a battlefield he had battled on the previous day — one on which he had just completed carving up a few mid-range targets with style and effectiveness. But in front of him this time was no insignificant castle nor neglected farmer. What Dae reconnoitered was a giant.

The scout report alone was enough to calm his mind for a moment.

"35.4 million troops inside… fully geared… full spear wall…"

This was the type of report that earned respect. A constructed war fortress of T5s, dense stacks of T4 and T3, with a meat shield bog stacked under it. It wasn't big — it was constructed. This was not coin pusher who didn't care to bubble. This was a wall. And Dae knew better than to venture alone.

He sent word of the message to his alliance quickly.

It was brief and to the point.

"Big target. Rally required. Can't solo this one."

One of the team's most consistent inf rally leaders, Jessalton, was the first to answer the call. Without hesitation, he put out the rally with a 5-minute wait — ample time for the alliance to form up, check formation, and fill the march to max.

Dae paused to glance around. The castle was just a few tiles away from other giants — some more than 2 billion self-sustaining. It was no fortress; it was a potential trap. A single misstep could collapse the whole kingdom onto them.

attack. We escape," Dae texted.

"No greed. Get in, burn him, and vanish."

The horns were blown. The first rally trudged under the quiet skies, beating the spear wall as waves of thunder.

Boom.

The result came and lips went agape.

In spite of being chocked and well-layered forces, the target was severely damaged. The infantry formation had torn through the top T5 ranks and consumed a large portion of the middle-level defenses.

"8 million dead first rally," Jessalton affirmed.

"He's got meat, though. A long way to go."

Dae nodded. Not celebration time. They rebooted. Reloaded.

The enemy hadn't responded yet. No backup. No bubble. That was one thing — he was certain. That mistake would cost him.

Three minutes more and the second rally was underway. Same formation, full cav formation, plenty of buffs.

This time, they pushed further in.

T4s were falling in waves. T3s were beginning to break. No sign of the T1s yet, but Dae knew they were below — lying in wait like skeletons beneath debris.

"Got him. Squeeze harder."

By this point, more than 15 million soldiers had been cleared out of the castle.

Still, they weren't finished.

With the third rally off, the alliance was abuzz.

“This is it. If the T1s show, we’re at the bottom.”

The impact was devastating.

Over 11 million more troops dead, the wall barely standing.

This rally revealed the soft core: the T1 sponge finally visible. That meant the structural meat of the army had been devoured. What remained was cleanup.

Dae took a moment to zoom out.

The target had started the fight with over 35 million troops.

Now? Likely fewer than 5 million. Some of the lords would freak and bubble.

But this one? Still no move.

"Too late now," Dae complained.

"We wrap this up."

The fourth rally swept in rapidly. No long preparation needed this time — they were rolling, and they were getting the job done.

As the march arrived, flames raged from the castle.

Lord captured. All T4s destroyed. T1s destroyed. Nothing but ash is left.

The previous report was a joy to behold. Dae silently screen-shot it, letting the numbers speak for themselves. A gigantic 35M castle, brought to rubble without a wasted solo.

But the kingdom was not yet at rest.

Solo Hunting Ongoing

Dae returned the next day. His instincts told him there were more targets in wait.

Sure enough, not too far away, a 1 million troop castle sat idle waiting. One solo was all it took — Lord taken. Burned on the spot.

Hours later, he spotted something, well, more to his liking — a 12 million troop castle which had just unbubbled. Formations were askew. Gear was mismatched. Walls were thin.

He smiled.

Time for an encore performance.

First hit knocked out all T1s and T2s in seconds. No resistance.

Second wave hit the core soldiers — T4s and T3s. Damage was solid. Clean burns and soldier collapse were noted. No backup came.

Round number three, even better results. Soldiers were collapsing. The wall was broken. The inside was being devoured piece by piece.

Lord taken. Soldiers lost. Fire blazing.

Another 12 million soldier account cracked under Dae's pressure like that.

Rhe Lesson Continues

It wasn't about the kills anymore.

Not anymore.

Every battle was a time to rehearse a hard-learned lesson.

Every patrol had to be measured.

Every scout, dissected.

Every assault, mapped out.

Dae used to charge in blindly before. It had cost him. But now? Now he walked like a predator in mist — invisible, measured, unstoppable.

He didn't rub it in. He didn't scream in chat.

But in Kingdom 233, castles burned.

And Dae was the one of the people holding the torch.
