Why is it that every single KVK I am unable to login to my account?

Without fail, for the past 3 KvK, Alliance Conquest events I bothered trying to do, I have been unable to login. It doesn't matter if I'm on the desktop app or on a browser, it just sits at the 50% loaded mark for twenty, thirty, sixty minutes! Cleared caches and reinstalling is the last thing I want to be doing every time I want to just enjoy my game in between bouts of real life problems.

Is anyone else having this issue too? I suppose I should just be grateful my truce is up...
