There's summer in Westeros by now and Alliance Conquest is heading towards the last round of the regular season and for [N0X] the last round is of a huge importance as doing good in it means another qualify on the Ultimate Conquest. The first 5 rounds went great for [N0X] with 4 wins against [OBV], [NoS], [RRH] and [WWW] and a loss against [RoD], but they also need a win on the 6th round or at least not losing at a big score. A lot of debates took place in the [N0X] leadership in the days prior to the last round: "Should we skip like other alliances do? Should we try to dodge the big alliances by going on another timeslot?" Ultimately, they decided to go [N0X] way, register and keep the 19:00 timeslot and whatever happens, happens. Besides having to deal with a possibly very strong opponent, [N0X] had another problem, a few of their strongest members namely MAKIMA, NIGHTQUEEN, Grombold, NIGHTKING and ImperialRock that helped them a lot in the prior rounds, left to join other stronger alliances for Ultimate Conquest. With that in mind, friday evening Scythe, the queen of [N0X], registered the alliance for the 19:00 timeslot. At the midnight, the Old Gods did the matchmaking and the biggest [N0X] fear come true, they were chosen to fight [NBe].

Mostly everyone knows who [NBe] are but for those who don't, [NBe] is a quite a strong alliance, one that has stopped [N0X] a few times already from going into Ultimate Conquest. Being about twice as strong as [N0X], not much could be done to defeat them so instead [N0X] leadership concentrating on strategies that would help [N0X] accumulate as many points as possible as every ranking point will count. Once that was done, evening was getting close, so it was time for warriors to take their troops, commanders and dragons and head towards the Alliance Conquest battlefield. They arrived there just a bit after 18:30 and started entering as soon as they stepped on the battlefield. They were fighting for the Lannisters this time on the North-East side of the battlefield and after the 30 minutes allowed to enter it was looking like [N0X] is not only on power disadvantage but also on numbers disadvantage as few seconds before the actual fight started the numbers were showing 87 warriors for [N0X] vs 100 warriors for [NBe].

That didn't discourage [N0X] as they were set on reaching the Ultimate Conquest goal and were determined to do everything in their power to do so. Fight started with the opening of the 2 outposts, the Tower of Warrior and the Temple of Mother and Shado was once again assigned as racer for the tower of warrior, did he manage to win the race on this very important fight though?

Unfortunately, no, [NBe] racers were faster, and they managed to take Temple of Mother and Tower of Warrior with Barbarossa and sapplies82, however [N0X] did great too and managed to get both outposts with Araxxor and Belore II. Then [NBe] proceeded to swap TheOnlyKing and The Kj BOOM in their buildings while [N0X] decided to not risk a swap and instead get as many points as possible while keeping the people that got the buildings there. However, when fighting such big alliances, as soon as the bubble drops on your building there's not much you can do about'it as they will do a ton of yolo-solos and so did [NBe].

Araxxor and [N0X] did their best to hold against [NBe] attack but with so many solos and rallies coming at once it was impossible for them to do so. Once they secured that, [NBe] got their eyes on Belore II's outpost and ultimately despite [N0X] opposition that building had the same fate as the other outpost. Now it was time for the ports to open and Shado was assigned to race for the Targaryen Port, unfortunately as mostly always on this season he fell a bit short and [NBe] got'it with sapplies82 however when they tried to swap, Bearface was there to intercept for [N0X] and with Atyaa getting the other port, [N0X] now suddenly had some points generation going. But of course, in these matches, if you're the smaller alliance, your happiness ain't long lasting and as soon as ports dropped their bubbles, both Bearface and Atyaa got instantly soloed out of them.

After losing both ports [N0X] decided to try and go on the offensive and they rallied Lannister's Outpost trying to kick K0RGEI from there. The rallies were very good timed and [N0X] kept their fingers crossed hoping for the best

Unfortunately, things didn't go well for [N0X] as most of their rallies bounced and they couldn't take the building. With no other building accessible to them, they had one last chance to get some points, well 2 if you count the mines too. The race for Casterly Rock was swift with plenty of warriors participating on both sides. Unfortunately, sappieslie69 was faster and they even managed to swap one of their good rally leaders there so no chance for [N0X] to get'it back. Then the hives opened for attacks and here [N0X] managed to get to their goal of getting all the personal points from [NBe] and with that on their pocket everyone waited for the mines hoping they could snatch a few more points. That didn't work for them either as [NBe] managed to get both mines and that basically ended the fight for [N0X] and all they could do was hope they did enough.

Did they do enough though? Unfortunately, no, the points they made were not enough for them to qualify, they ended up on 19th place, just 26 points away of the Ultimate Conquest. They didn't qualify not because they were not good enough but mostly because they decided to qualify on the "good way" rather than just doing what other alliances did and skip the last fight. Hopefully on the next season they will have a bit of easier matchmaking, and they will manage to qualify. Until then, see you all on the battlefield on other events!
