What’s up, folks? We just had the Children’s Day Event where players who were at the top of the Treasure Hunter Event at the end of each day received a Skyriver Palace permanent skin to use to develop the skin of the same name. Additionally, the overall winner of the rankings after ten days received an exclusive dynamic avatar frame. Since every player is competing with each other, there’s no set cost to this event. Let’s talk about the cost of the event using the end result and what we can expect moving forward.

💠Bundles

There were seven Resonance Crystal Bundles that players can purchase for the Treasure Hunter event. You can get 10, 15, 20, 40, 108, and 210 crystals for $2.99, $4.99, $9.99, $19.99, $49.99, and $99.99, respectively. The daily limits for each bundle were 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 20 packs respectively. There is also another one-time $49.99 bundle that features 100 crystals and the exclusive dynamic Moonlight Fairytale avatar frame. The most expensive bundles per crystal are the $9.99 and $19.99 ones. The $2.99 has the most value per dollar. Players can also get 200 free Resonance Crystals and another 145 from the $49.99 premium Battle Pass. Players can spend $2,971.39 to purchase 6,286 Resonance Crystals daily. Across ten days and with the Battle Pass and free Resonance Crystals, it would be a grand total of $29,763.89 for 63,205 crystals. Furthermore, you can get another 90 crystals from the Celebration Shop and even more from the Glorious and Pinnacle Challenges. You could also purchase more of the same bundles from the GT Arcade App.

💠Cost to Win Overall Ranking

The top ranker, JMStill from Server M014, accumulated 68,919 points through ten days. That means that the player purchased every available bundle for a total of around $30,000. The next highest player was GgabZi11a from Server 38, who accumulated 46,979 points. Assuming the cheapest bundles were purchased, that is all except the $9.99 and $19.99 bundles, it would have taken ten days of every other bundle and nine days and 15 packs of the $99.99 bundle for a grand total of around $22,500. Ranks three and fourth, Yggdrasil from Server 170 and Milk from Server 38, both spent just a little under that. The winner was rewarded with an exclusive dynamic Dream Express avatar frame.

💠Cost to Win Daily Ranking

Winning the daily ranking was undoubtedly more valuable than winning the overall ranking. Winners got a permanent Skyriver Palace castle skin that was developable by using skins of the same name. It took ten to fully develop which meant there were only enough skins for one person to max their Skyriver Palace if they were atop the rankings every day. From what I saw, there were multiple days where a player reached around 10,000 points. To reach 10,000 points, you would have to spend around $4,400 a day on Resonance Crystal Bundles. Some days, you can spend slightly less, and some days, slightly more. If you average around $4,000 a day, it would still take $40,000 to fully develop the skin.

💠Summary

While the Skyriver Palace is extremely powerful when developed and the Dream Express avatar frame is beautiful and exclusive, the price tags on these rewards are extremely high. The rewards are simply unattainable for the average player. Perhaps, there could be a cheaper but weaker version of the skin in future events.
