Ultimate Conquest

Season 21, Round 3! 

HOH vs FDH

This round is an all or nothing situation. The winner progresses to the Quarter finals, while the loser goes out of the competition all together! Although on paper, HOH is the stronger alliance, we cannot take FDH lightly. They've put in some good performances this season with determination to win, so we will have to give it our all if we want to win. 

As the match was about to begin and everyone was ready on the map, HOH has the slight advantage with participants.. 69 of us 66 for FDH. GAME ON!! 

Racers all get ready to run for the buildings. The first 4 are about to become available. The 2 Outposts , The Mother and The Warrior. 3,2,1,GO!! They all set off and speed into their destinations. HOH wins most of their races, but not all! We lay claim to the Mother, and both of the Outposts, but FDH won the race for the Warrior. 

We didn't believe we had a strong enough Leader at the Mother, so we decided to attempt a swap, but we had to be quick before the enemy got their troops in and took it from us. But that is what happened.. We were too slow and XxHmennonxX got in there ahead of us. 

Meanwhile FDH had tried the same thing with the Warrior but we also were too quick for them, AK00 noticed them attempting a swap but sped his march in quickly to prevent it happening and to take control of the Warrior for HOH. 

We then realised we should probably swap out the leader of the Lannister outpost as well, so we waited for the orders before disbanding so a stronger rally lead could take over. This time was much better, a successful swap. But FDH piled in the solo attacks, one after another, hitting armies back out with every hit until we finally got the Lannister  Outpost full of troops and FDH gave up on their solo attacks and instead decided to rally it. 

More than 10 rallies were set up on the Lannister outpost, and all of them returned home while orso remained in the outpost, the reinforcements from HOH while the FDH rallies hit, were good and we managed to hold off their attacks. 

Next we got ready to race for the Ports… the bubbles were about to drop soon so we had to get ready quickly… and before you knew it the racers were all on their way to the Port, speeding in quickly… But it was FDH that won BOTH of the races, GG6 got the Lannister Port and Lady Jen got the Targaryen Port. FDH attempted a swap on the Lannister Port and succeeded so we set up rallies to try and take it off them.. When the rallies were filled they were all set off and sped it with rally horns so they all hit simultaneously, causing maximum damage and leaving little time for FDH to reinforce and we eventually took it with Asenherz dealing the final blow. 

Meanwhile , FDH also made a swap on the other Port while the rallies were going on, getting GameOfKorea in there to defend it instead. HOH tried to take it before the reinforcements filled up the Targaryen port, but FDH were too quick, so we rallied the port instead. And the same again once the rallies were full they were all set off and sped in with rally horns to all hit simultaneously. And again it gave FDH little time to reinforce and ensured we captured the Port. 

Things are looking good for us so far, we have all of the buildings available.  Next is Casterly Rock. If we manage to get hold of CR and keep hold of the other buildings, the mines might not even matter. We lost the race… Rob Roy was the quickest, but not the strongest so FDH called for another swap and it was successful again! SkyRocket took over and their reinforcements were too quick for us, so we set up rallies. 

The rallies were all set up immediately and filled up and set off for Casterly Rock. they were filled quickly and set off! We wanted to make sure we get CR as soon as possible.. Every rally hit causing huge amounts of damage, ensuring we took control. 

 FDH tried their best to rally many of our buildings , but we held on to them well with good reinforcing between hits and we carried this on until the Bubbles dropped on the enemy castles and we let rip on their hive. I look around for a cavalry account seconds before the bubbles drop, and I set myself up to attack and hope to claim their points. 

I won, and looked for the next target… I found one and I presumed it was cavalry because of Kevin as Lord, but I was wrong, and it turned out to be a costly attack. A victory, but an expensive one. After I healed and my army was back at home, I looked for more.

After most of the hive was cleared of points, I was still hungry for more elimination points, so searched for more. I saw that GooSE had refilled their troops so I went back for a second hit. 

FDH continued to attack buildings… they managed to take over the Targaryen Stronghold, but it wasn't long before we got it back. And with a little over 20 minutes left , it was soon time for the mines. We have a good lead over FDH, but not enough. It's 65K- 36K so we need to take the mines to secure the win, one might be enough but we want them both just to be sure! 

Everyone available set up to attack the mines. As the timer ticked down we got ready to march. We only managed to get 1, VIBRATOR took the other for FDH. FDH tried a swap, but they were too slow with reinforcing their mine and the HOH solo attacks marched in and took advantage. We reinforced both mines until they were full and withstood the rallies until they were empty. And by now the game was over, FDH had given up trying any longer. They put up a good fight all the way through but it is HOH that comes out Victorious and progresses to the next round!
