A considerable amount of time has passed since the last milestone 20th season of the Alliance Conquest and the final match played by Guts Black. In the new, 21st season, due to various reasons and a period of inactivity, he missed the opening match, in which his alliance, SFu, faced the strong and skilled alliance PLQ.

Unfortunately for him, he missed a truly fantastic and utterly thrilling match—one where the winner remained uncertain until the very end. Thanks to composure, brilliant strategy, and unwavering focus by both SFu's players in general and leadership in particular throughout the entire battle, SFu managed to secure a victory with a score of 80k to 70k.

When Guts saw the result of the opening match, he could hardly believe it. PLQ had been the clear favorite. How on earth did they pull it off? he wondered. He was overwhelmed with joy and excitement. I didn’t even play, and they still won. Incredible.

He could hardly wait for the next match.

In the meantime, during the break between the two Alliance Conquest seasons, Guts Black made significant progress and improved his account considerably. His two primary dragons were enhanced with powerful skills, stats were refined, and new advisors were added—further strengthening his infantry troops. Most importantly, he completed Commander Daeron, who reinforced his Bleed synergy and now stands shoulder to shoulder with Sinara, Rhea, Jon, and Lareo.

He could hardly wait to put all these upgrades to use in the second round match.

The opponent in the second round was an alliance from Kingdom 204—YGI—a complete unknown not only to Guts but to nearly all members of SFu. Only Freya and Odr knew anything about them, having spent some time there in the past.

“They’re well-organized and have beaten Ultimate Conquest teams and won in League A. We need to stay sharp and focused,” Freya said in the alliance chat shortly before the match began.

Let the fight begin

Guts didn’t think much or hesitate—he entered the battlefield among the first, as soon as the time came, without even checking whether his account was properly set up. Having been away from the action for a while, he no longer had the old routine. He thought he had done everything right—but he was gravely mistaken (he would realize that later).. The army size was there—75%, the war gear was in place—Alright, that should do, Guts said to himself. I’m ready.

The match began. SFu had 89 participants, while YGI fielded 80. A numerical advantage can be useful, but it’s rarely a decisive factor.

The battle plan had already been laid out on Discord, and participants were on voice chat, listening to the final instructions. Dark Pegasus announced that the strongest infantry players—including Guts—should focus on the enemy’s spear units, particularly Don Stefan, the only YGI member they knew to be exceptionally powerful.

Guts was determined to test his racing skills first and foremost. His assignment at the start was to run for the Tower of the Mother.

The first four buildings appeared on the map. SFu players claimed three of them, while YGI secured the Tower of the Warrior. The fastest runners for SFu in the initial rush were Wareblade and Trevers, who took the outposts, and Dark Pegasus, the event's lead coordinator, who captured the Tower of the Mother.

Guts wasn’t the first to arrive—but when he went to dispatch his troops, he finally realized the critical mistake he had made before entering the match.

Man… your army size isn’t what it should be with the 75% boost. Something’s wrong.

Ouch, Unbelievable… the wrong refinement is active. I can’t believe it. What are my stats going to look like? I don’t even want to check, Guts Black muttered to himself.

“YGI will likely try to rally me first,” said Dark Pegasus. “In the meantime, we’ll scout the Warrior Tower, where YGI’s Der Thomas is stationed. If necessary, we’ll run rallies—if not, we go in solo.”

Despite having a smaller army size than planned and slightly weaker stats, Guts was ready. His synergy was still strong—now reinforced by Daeron—and he was confident it would deal serious damage to the enemy.

The Warrior Tower wasn’t his objective—it was designated for the spear players. StankoSRBLFC was the first to head there, initiating a wave of spear assaults.

Meanwhile, Klaus Schnee captured the castle. YGI began preparing rallies on the Tower of the Mother. Now, it was time to see how SFu would respond—and whether the reinforcements would arrive on time.

Seven YGI rallies were launched toward Dark Pegasus. Meanwhile, Guts kept one eye on the defense and the other on the Ports, which were about to open. He had to be quick—both to defend and to seize new objectives.

The defense hald strong and the Ports were splitted—not bad at all.

“Let’s try to take that port closer to our side,” said DemonQ.

There was no delay. As soon as the port became available, a flurry of solo attacks followed. Even Guts took part in the assault on the Lannister Port this time. Gottes Zorn delivered the final blow.

The map was now entirely blue—SFu’s color—and the score advantage began to grow. Guts was thrilled by how things were unfolding, eagerly awaiting the next set of instructions and developments.

At that point, YGI gave up on the Tower of the Mother and shifted their focus to the Port held by VampireWolf—a not-so-strong SFu player. They believed their chances of capturing it were much higher.

While SFu was busy defending the Port, it was also time for Casterly Rock to open. This time, it went red—YGI was faster. Galdere was the first to claim it.

Everyone in SFu expected YGI to perform a swap and replace Galdere with a stronger player. And that’s exactly what happened—Platon took over.

A complete unknown. Why him and not Don Stefan? Could it be they have someone even stronger?

Without waiting for a scout report, SFu already had their plan in motion. Rallies on the center were launched.

But that decision turned out to be a mistake. Though the rallies were well-balanced and precisely timed to hit one after another with minimal delays, they failed to inflict significant damage.

Platon is too strong. We’ll leave him where he is, said Pegasus.

And so it was. SFu didn’t touch him for the rest of the match.

Leaving Platon undisturbed in the center didn’t mean he couldn’t be attacked directly in his castle. That task was now assigned to several infantry players—including Guts. Once a player’s bubble dropped, and if Platon’s troops were visible inside, they were to strike immediately. The same applied to Don Stefan and a few other YGI spear-type players.

Guts welcomed this with enthusiasm, launching relentless attacks against the enemy. As a result, his elimination score steadily improved, and he finally reached the position he belonged to—among the top 10 strongest SFu players.

The match continued with YGI’s two top players controlling Casterly Rock (Platon) and the Targaryen Port (Don Stefan). Everything else on the map was under SFu’s control. Occasionally, YGI would capture a building, but it was always swiftly reclaimed. Nothing significant happened until the Mines appeared. SFu’s lead continued to grow steadily, and YGI struggled to hold any major buildings. They occasionally managed to capture a Stronghold, but to truly turn the tide, they would have needed at least the Tower of the Mother and the Warrior Tower.

The battle remained relatively active up until the Mines. Once they appeared and were claimed by SFu players, it became clear to everyone—YGI no longer had any realistic chance of a comeback. Their two strongest players were trapped, locked down in Casterly Rock and the Targaryen Port.

Guts Black even managed to reach the Mine first and held it for as long as it continued to generate points. A job well done on his part.

After securing all the points from the Mine, Guts disbanded his troops and continued with solo strikes whenever he spotted enemy forces in their strongholds. He kept this up until the very end of the match.

The match concluded with a convincing victory for SFu, the final score standing at 95k to 57k. The brave YGI managed to score a respectable amount of points and put up a strong fight.

Guts Black was immediately behind RainMaker on SFu’s elimination points leaderboard—another excellent achievement for him. This success will surely give him extra motivation and strength to prepare even better for the next match.

As the dust settled and the battlefield quiet once more, the members of SFu savored their hard-earned victory. For Guts Black, the match was more than just a win—it was a testament to his growth and resilience. Though the road ahead promised even greater challenges, his spirit burned brighter than ever.

As the next season loomed on the horizon, the alliance prepared to face whatever came next, united and stronger for every battle fought. And Guts, standing among his comrades, was ready to carve his name even deeper into their shared legacy.

Until the next story and gathering, yours truly,

King Rale
