Ashun was a strong-willed fighter of Westeros who had only one goal in mind in this Arena of Honor season: win the City of Glory at least once. It was already the 11th round of the season, the end was nearing and he and SbG, his teammates, had not managed to attain that goal despite their incredible strength. This in itself spoke volumes of how strong the winning team had to be if they were going to be the winners of the City of Glory, the objective which every warrior wished to capture.

In the Arena of honor it was not always the case for the winners to capture the City of Glory, a fact that SbG and Ashun proved in the past rounds of the season, as they won by stopping other factions from doing so themselves. There were other ways to secure an incredible amount of points and SbG knew how to take advantage of that to the fullest extent. They would always try to capture many altars, battle for dragon pits and with their strength depth helping, most of the time they were successful in achieving a great rank.

Any chance of winning however, was dispersed upon the realisation of who the opponents for this round were. They were so strong they could be in a league of their own, and sadly Ashun and SbG had to face them today. They were not only the strongest of BDR, but also N0X, together, they were an unstoppable team that not many could stand against.

They had warriors varying from Tholking to Imperial Rock, all of whom were unstoppable even against the very best out there in Westeros, and to top it off, SbG and Ashun have a shared history with them, one that would make BDR chase them down until the very end of the event. To say that the round was over is an understatement, they stood no chance, as they will be hunted down.

Ashun was not willing to give up even when facing them and these incredible odds, the team was readying for a defensive style, where they built trading posts and fought for altars by reinforcing each other to the max. This was their only chance at capturing anything at all until the later stages of the round.

Once the trading posts were built, the nightmare over the altar battles had begun. BDR went for all of the open altars at the very start, they did not give SbG any chance from the get go, and as more and more altars opened, Ashun noticed something interesting: BDR was going for SbG's altars before they even took their own.

This led him to start attacking the altars next to the House Lannister, the faction of which BDR was a part of. There was a lot of back and forth that followed, but it was almost always a defeat for Ashun. He couldn't get a hold of any altar before BDR reacted to his captures, it was as if they were watching every move made.

For now SbG was on one of the lowest ranks in the round, but Ashun was confident that once BDR took too many altars, defending would become difficult. He was going to go capture them when the time occurred, and once the City of Glory opened up, Ashun started striking, fast and over and over again. Many waves of his few troops attacks were returning annihilated, but if even one of them won an altar by BDR overlooking it, Ashun considered it a victory.

Slowly but steadily, they started gaining ground again, altar after altar was dropped by BDR, who was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of altars they had to defend. Not before long, they had found themselves back in the top spots, they were now second in the rankings. The targeting had not worked, SbG knew how to handle the pressure and has not crumbled, instead they were more eager to fight back and regain their ground.

Seeing that SbG was rising in the ranks, BDR tried once more to get ahead, but to no alas, they were not successful this time. With all of the altars opened up and time ticking low, all of the factions had become desperate to increase their points and rank higher, as except for BDR, most factions were equal in points. This made it impossible for BDR to keep the pressure up on SbG if they wished not to drop too many points.

As the final rankings took shape, it was still Ashun with SbG sitting right behind BDR in what they considered a victory sweeter than capturing the City of Glory. They had defied all odds, they had come out on top versus someone that did everything to bring them down, and it was all thanks to the unity and teamplay that they portrayed.

Ashun was proud of what they had achieved, but still couldn't help but have a lingering feeling of sadness when he thought that time was running out for the season, and they had not yet managed to capture the City of Glory even once. Next time, they were going to go all in to obtain it.
