As Arena of Honor season 3 approaches its middle, for [N0X]Shado it's time for yet another battle, the 8th round of this season. This round is more important for him as it is the last round with his team and beside wanting to win the battle as always, he also wants to prove worthy one last time. He prepared for the fight as good as he possibly could, forging valyrian steel weapons for his troops, equipping his dragons with new powerful skills and giving his commanders the best food, drinks and jewelry in order for them to lead the biggest army possible. It was now Sunday morning, 30th of March and the time for preparation was done, it was now time for him to head to the Arena of Honor battlefield. Upon arriving there he met with his team-mates and after signging the pre-registration forms, the team was registered by Tominy, and everyone went to tavern for a pre-fight beverage.

Once the registration period ended and the matchmaking was done, the gates of battlefield opened, and everyone stepped inside to see for which house they will fight this time. Shado's team was picked once again by Targaryen's to fight for them in the South-West forests of the battlefield, close to the southern dry desert. Quickly after setting his troops up Shado decided to send some scouts to see what other houses are bringing to the battlefield.
Once the scouts returned with the ravens, the news were as Shado expected, the battlefield was filled with very strong warriors across Westeros, and even though nobody was looking as strong as ImperialRock and light Yagami, the other houses power combined was surely something to worry about. But the time for strategies and scouting was over as the strongholds lost their protection bubbles and the warriors on the battlefield rushed to occupy them as quickly as possible to get the points rolling. Just 2 minutes of occupation were needed for the Houses to raise their flags above the strongholds and the workers to start building.
Tominy ordered workers to build specifically infantry camps and as they were building, Shado was curious what other Houses are building and noticed that all other teams went with trading posts, good news for House Targaryen, as unless someone decides to change their buildings, the Watch Towers and Catapults will have House Targaryen's flag on top of them and the City of Glory will be easier to defend. Quickly after the infantry camps were built, the Altars and Watch Towers dropped their bubble and Shado had a question in his mind: Does House Targaryen have strong enough NPCs already to overcome the counter from the cavalry NPCs that hold the towers at the start of the battle?
As soon as the first Watch Tower was hit, Shado got his answer and with this set and done he moved his focus on trying to take and retake altars from enemies, trying to pull his weight on this high-stake battlefield. He kept sending scouts all over the map but all he could find were warriors that he couldn't defeat with solo attacks so all he could do is share the scouting reports to his stronger team-mates. He even tried to take some neutral altars, but as soon as he sent his march, KingGoran from [BDR] was on point with swiftly evacuating Shado back to his base.

But as more altars open, more opportunities appear, and it didn't take long for Shado to start finding equal targets. While scouting around, Shado found a fellow infantry warrior, [HHH]AmaiAmai, trying to take an altar from House Targaryen. Shado decided to test his strength and quickly assembled a solo attack. Their forces clashed in a very intense, very deadly battle, shields were breaking under valyrian weapon hits and there were so many wounded troops on both sides.

It was the commanders that Shado brought to this battle and the dragon provided by Queen Daenerys herself that were decisive for this bloody fight and ultimately AmaiAmai had to retreat and Shado claimed back the altar for House Targaryen. There was no time for celebration for Shado as there were so many altars being pressured by enemies on every side of the battlefield. It was an intense combination of scouting and attacking for Shado, and it didn't take much for him to find yet another target, a quite stronger than him target, but being spears gave Shado some hope that he can challenge and win against [IXA]Anavel Gato. He quickly healed his wounded troops from the last battle and rushed towards the altar. The battle between the two was epic, Anavel's spears were trained so good, and he had top tier commanders using Lord of Light's magic to heal their troops while Shado infantry was heavily armored and had valyrian steel shields to stop the very sharp spears coming towards them.

Ultimately Shado managed to win despite odds being against him, and he claimed the altar back for House Targaryen. With so much fighting happening around, team almost lost the City of Glory dropping bubble from their sight. Luckily, they noticed in time and with a quick solo ImperialRock evicted the neutral NPC's residing there. With points being so close, City of Glory was a must for House Targaryen to win the battle and get all the points ranking rewards. Enemy houses had people like KingGoran that could challenge ImperialRock so everyone in the team quickly reinforced him with top tier troops in order to maintain control over City of Glory. Every other house sent their best rally leaders to try and take ImperialRock out from the City of Glory, but he was determined to keep the city at any costs. There were so many wounded troops that it was no space left in hospitals to heal them, and they were healed right on the battlefield just before another rally hit. Ultimately it was the superior stats of ImperialRock, his top of the line commanders equipped with the best weapons that saved the City of Glory and got'it into House Targaryen's domain.

With the City of Glory in their hands, the team concentrated on keeping control over the rest of battlefield as good as they possibly could. And good they did, as by the time the battle ended, they managed to take control over most of the battlefield despite the opposition on the other houses. When the horn that announced the end of the battle was heard, the House Targaryen was declared as the winner of this round of Arena of Honor.

It was probably the best round for Shado with the team and a very good way for him to end his winning streak with this team at least. Starting next round, he'll have to go back to solo adventures or maybe he'll find another team to fight along? Guess we'll have to wait and see. See you all on the battlefield!
