💠Introduction

What’s up, folks? With so many new events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes challenging to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Legion of Frostborne

The inner Zone 2 gates became available to attack this week and all of the interesting brackets have solidified their position and projected win. Prior to this week, only Region 277 which contained Servers 105, 145, 170, 209, and 231 had significant battles. The coalition of 105, 209, and 231 was vying for control over the left two quadrants of Zone 2. Before the week was over, 105, 209, and 231 dismantled 170’s remaining tower at their last gate in the upper left quadrant and fully secured access to the site. A day later, they attacked the gates leading into the lower left quadrant that 170 had fully secured. While 105, 209, and 231 can’t seal 170 from the area, they dismantled all of their towers, placed their own towers leading into Midgard, and eventually captured all of the remaining Zone 2 cities. As it stands, 170 has no viable way of getting into Midgard and they are resigned to mostly having inconsequential battles. Server 231 will likely get Ymir and a Citadel while 105 and 209 will receive a Citadel each. However, 170 will technically win the KvK with their first place in alliance reputation. They will get a few thousand extra Cold Silvers by taking first, a decent consolation prize.

💠Illusion Battlefield

With the IBL tournament all wrapped up, alliances are now shifting their focus to regular IB to fill the void. Regular IB differs in that it’s slower-paced, players use their own marches and skills to fight with, and lord talents are effective in the mode. The Working Hard talent is especially useful since it reduces relocation and construction times by 20%. This week, we had a number of slugfests and interesting matches. Server 73’s PRD, currently occupied by members of BUNS for KvK, lost to Server 136’s MIAU with a score of 71,200 to 99,800.
Server 139’s LB defeated their KvK ally, Server 143’s OZ, with a score of 89,850 to 79,500.
Server 73’s ARC defeated 183’s RH with a score of 100,000 to 7,700.
Server 16’s NG+ defeated Server 189’s BRB4 with a score of 95,800 to 72,600.
Server 300’s FT beat Server 296’s NRD with a dominating score of 97,400 to 37,500.

💠Discord Easter Egg Hunt Event

The Easter Egg Hunt Event on the Official Infinity Kingdom Discord took place from Sunday, April 20 to Monday, April 21, lasting two days. Moderators dropped a total of 12 hints in the General Channel and the first player to guess where the egg is hiding wins. The hints came randomly throughout the day when moderators took their shifts. If you are active in Discord, it was an easy way to snag some in-game rewards. Players can win up to two times. Each win gave 10 Sun Crystals, 15 Stardust, and 10 Random Immortal Fragments. In the end, eight players won prizes. There are usually similar events around holidays and other pop-up and seasonal events. Join the Discord to get in on the fun and partake in the extravaganza.

💠Summary

All brackets of KvK has their projected winners. Regular IB has become the focus of alliances now with IBL and KvK behind them. There was a two-day Discord Easter event where players won in-game rewards for solving clues and riddles.
