March is ending now and spring season it's on full force in Westeros, all the trees are blooming, everything is green, the sun is shining high on the sky and for [N0X]OliverQ it is time for another round of his favorite event across Westeros, Arena of Honor. Even though it's only his first season participating, he accumulated quite a bit of experience in the first 6 rounds and now for the 7th he's feeling more ready than ever to clash with other warriors participating for the rewards and the glory points. He decided once again to fight on the evening and while he has some experience in the event now, it's still not enough for him to be accepted on a team so he'll be heading to the Mercenary Camp again for another solo adventure. Upon arriving there he signed the registration form as always and then got him and his troops a beverage from the tavern and they waited for the matchmaking to be done. And done it was in a few minutes, so the battlefield gates opened, and everyone stepped into arena to see for whom and along whom will they fight this battle. OliverQ was chosen by the Greyjoy family to fight for their House in the North-West forests of the battlefield. He wasn't fighting alone of course, along him there were [GEU]ZannaBianca, [KIK]Kpowebo, [HOH]AryaSvitkona, [UTB]Bunicutzu, [WLB]GARY ICU, [YGI]Henker12, [WWW]Aporoh and [Stm]Oberth.

Quite a strong team, was OliverQ thinking while sending some of his best spies to the other sides of battlefield to see what the other houses are up to for this fight. In just a few minutes the spies returned with their reports and there was some good news for Greyjoy's team, none of the other teams weren't looking unbeatable, so there were chances for a win.
OliverQ shared the good news with his team-mates just in time as the battle started right after with the opening of strongholds and everyone rushed to them in an attempt to quickly start the points generation. Once the 2 minutes of occupation required passed the strongholds opened to be build and before building anything OliverQ took a quick look at what other houses were doing, especially House Stark as they were the house that will directly attack House Greyjoy's Clan Castle. Noticing Starks were going with trading posts, made the decision easy, and he decided that House Greyjoy will also go with trading posts.
Once the structures were built by every house the actual clashes between teams begin once the altars start opening. For House Greyjoy the main focus will be Altar of the Maiden as it improves the points generated by the Trading Posts by a large margin, but they will fight to occupy every altar they can. OliverQ got his eyes on Altar of the Stranger and without even sending any spies to see what armies the enemy has there he launched a strong bowman attack. Upon arriving to the gates, he noticed that the warrior trying to occupy the altar was also a warrior leading a bowman army so without any notice OliverQ ordered his bowmen to open fire. The sudden attack took [CSE]Gecko by surprise but not for long as his bowmen started shooting arrows too from behind the walls. There were so many arrows coming from both sides that it made the sky turn dark in the middle of day.

There were so many wounded troops on both sides after the fight, and it was OliverQ's superior number of troops that helped him win. After [CSE]Gecko retreated from the altar, OliverQ was able to claim 'it for House Greyjoy. However as more and more altars open, the battle gets more and more intense and OliverQ noticed that House Stark is trying to occupy House Greyjoy's Altar of the Maiden. He quickly sent a scout to see what forces starks mased on the altar and unfortunately for him, scout returned with dredging news. There were almost 3 million bowmen defending the altar and not only that but more than half of them were equipped with valyrian steel arrows.

As he could mass only around 820.000 bows on his march, he decided to not even try to challenge the altar and moved on to other targets. It didn't take long, and he noticed that one of the House Greyjoy's altars is being occupied and decided to try and stop that. He challenged [BoL]4Fall's cavalry to a fight and as the battle started his bowmen started launching arrows but unfortunately, 4Fall's cavalry was well defended by the walls. But then 4Fall, feeling confident, did a critical mistake and opened the gates to try and charge OliverQ's archers.

While 4Fall's cavalry was fast, they were unarmored and very easy targets for OliverQ's bowmen. After just a few minutes 4Fall had to admit defeat and retreated from House Greyjoy's altar. Once they approached the middle of fight and the City of Glory dropped the protection bubble, the fight got even more intense for House Greyjoy as they were determined to fight for the first place.
[YGI]Henker12 managed to occupy the City of Glory for House Greyjoy and then hell broke loose. All the houses started sending rallies from all sides of the map and combined with the fact that House Greyjoy didn't have any catapults in their possession made things even worse for the team. They even lost the City of Glory a few times but their determination and will to keep fighting for it was higher than everyone's else. It was the bloodiest fight OliverQ ever seen in Arena of Honor, every time the catapults were launching their massive boulders there were so many wounded troops inside the city. It was only the whole team's determination to heal the troops and keep sending reinforcing marches that settled the battle in their favor at the end of the battle and gave them a well-deserved 1st place.

For OliverQ it was both the most intense and the most expensive battle up to this point. But he and the team were also greatly rewarded for all their efforts with 42 glory points and a lot of other rewards to take home. With the glory points OliverQ also got to King's ranking and he's only a few wins away of the Glory King ranking, but as he climbs the ranks the challenges will get harder and harder. Is he strong enough to take them and win? We'll have to see in the upcoming rounds. See you all on the battlefield!
