Solo invasion k421 – the land of Bows

It was the night before Champion City Siege. LoveBunnies a recent member of 1SS and a nomad by heart was preparing for the incoming event on her home kingdom. A week ago, she decided to move to her alliance home kingdom, to take a bit rest from the fights, to recover her speeds and participate in alliance kingdom events. The settled at one place life wasn’t for her, but she wanted to give it a try.

She was looking through the window of her castle, enjoying the stars shining bright over the clear sky, when she saw a raven approaching. What news it could bring? That late in the evening it could be only one thing: someone was calling her for battle!

She rushed in the Rookery to can get fastest the message, sometimes you have to be very quick to join the battle, before the enemy put a truce! For her surprise, it wasn’t invitation from her friends to go for a rally, or fight, but was coordinates of a kingdom which had a lot of unbubbled. The message was anonymous, so LoveBunnies thought that it could be a trap. She wasn’t sure if she should go. Lately she created a lot of enemies, who will want her army dead. She started looking at the coordinates. There were 6 castles without a bubble, in rebel gear, and the kingdom seems to be sleeping. She checked the scrolls, it was small kingdom and for her almost 800m power it needed 9 scrolls. This means that if she gets in big trouble, no one of her stronger friends would be able to help her, because it would cost a lot of scrolls for them.

The kingdom was too tempting. LoveBunnies still didn’t recover fully since her last journey, and if she meets a danger it will be deadly for her. But her competitive soul couldn’t leave this opportunity, to attack the kingdom and add to her merit, something which was her aim, one day to reach the historical merit ranking, and all of the kingdoms to whisper her name in fear, when she visit them. Big dreams for such a little warrior, but nothing is impossible if you want it strong enough.

It was decided. LoveBunnies quickly prepared her best soldiers, checked if all are on their place on the wall, and gave last orders to her loyal infantry commanders, who will lead the attacks.

She jumped on k421, home of N0K alliance and started scouting the unbubbled castles. They all had over 5m troops in defence, but there was a little surprise. All of the castles were bow players. They had a lot of bows inside, and attacking them will be very costly. Although all were in farming gear, with wrong commanders on the wall, so LoveBunnies decided to act, and even if she expected looses, she would be able to defeat them.

First fights went smoothly, the sleeping soldiers in the enemy castles didn’t expect the attacks, and most of them were killed during their sleep. It was easy victory. But LoveBunnies had to be very carefull because on the kingdom there were strong castles, who can defeat her while her army was out, or catch her while she is still in fervor. Luckily, the kingdom was deeply sleeping and no one noticed her attacks. The last of the send scouts on the biggest unbubbled castle brought great news! There were 24m sleeping soldiers, but all of them were bows. Even in rebel gear the enemy had bow commanders on the wall, and with the amount of the army, it was impossible for solo hit for LoveBunnies. She would definetly lose her lord if she tries, but the target was too tempting to be left without to be attacked. She ported on a safe and hidden location, and started sending ravens to all of her friends who she thought that might be interested.

 After a little time, which for LoveBunnies looked like ages, because she really wanted someone to give her a hand in killing the enemy, the ravens started to return. But they brought disappointing news. Noone was interested to port and attack. The stronger allies, because it was expensive to jump, and the little merit hunters, because it would be very costly when attacking so many bows.

So LoveBunnies was again alone in this. She was thinking a lot about to try a solo attack, called all of her best advisors to discuss a strategy if she can win alone this fight, but if she loses her army and enemy catch her lord, she will be defenceless and easy target. So she needed to confess that defeat. She wasn’t strong enough to try to solo attack. She didn’t want to lead her army to complete defeat, and didn’t want to risk her lord to be imprisoned. She bubbled her castle and started to investigating the reports, to try to chase away the thoughts which were trying to kick in her mind, that she should try an attack. The results of the attacks were more than 20m dead enemy troops and 28m new merit. LoveBunnies was satisfied from this result, and was secretly proud of herself that she didn’t do the reckless attack.

In the next day, her presence in the kingdom was noticed, it wasn’t safe anymore. One of the strongest castles – N0K Master started to sending offensive messages to her, threatening her and calling her with bad words. To defend her honor, LoveBunnies offered him to attack her castle. He seemed to have strong bow commanders, and the attack would definetly annihilate a lot of her soldiers, but she wanted to defend her name. She didn’t trust the enemy, so she didn’t get fervor, just dropped bubble and ported next to him.

As she expected, Master didn’t dare to attack her solo and started a rally. The kingdoms were locked due to CCS, and LoveBunnies wasn’t able to escape on another kingdom if she gets in fervor. She was looking at the castles, joining the rally, some of them easy to defeat, but if she try to attack them, she would have no other choice, but take the rally. The chances to defend it were 0, so she decided to not get in fervor, but port away and bubble when the rally starts walking.

Everything was going as planned. The rally started walking to her castle and she was able to see what was on her way. But for her surprise, it were only soldiers, no commanders supporting them. This was her chance to make damage to the enemy. Without the commanders the soldiers, even numerous were weak. LoveBunnies decided to jump again and instantly take the hit. The bowmen sent their arrows, the sky became blackened of them heading to her castle, but they weren’t organized without a lead and they couldn’t make the damage which was expected. LoveBunnies defended the attack, her commanders were strong enough to not let her soldiers to die, but the result wasn’t what she expected. The bowmen were very strong army for her and a lot of them survived after the battle.

LoveBunnies was a bit disappointed but learned very important lesson, that in the future she should avoid bowmen castles, because they were too strong for her to can fight them. She left the battlefield with mixed feelings. Proud that she defended her name and took the rally, but in the same time sad, because she has still a lot to learn to become stronger and competitive.
