Last Chance to Capture the Wind Teleportation Decoration

Hello Infinity Kingdom, this is Magic Mage with server 243. Each month we are given the opportunity to play a game of chance to unlock unknown treasures through the gift of bonding. On January 21, 2025, you may have noticed we were given 3 days to purchase the series of packages within the gift of bonding event. I was hopeful this event would provide a teleportation skin as they have the last three months and that the skin introduced would be for a boost not yet released. Sadly this was not the case. However, it did provide me a perfect opportunity to answer those questions some of you reached out with regarding the teleportation skin such after reading my last post How to Obtain Teleportation Decorations. This article looks to delve deeper and answer questions I had received such as: What decorations are most beneficial to obtain? What the current Teleportation decoration available for purchase is? In what aspects of the game can the decoration provide an advantage?

Where to purchase the current -3% death rate teleportation skin 

Today is your last chance to purchase the Whirlwind teleportation decoration to provide your troops a 3% decrease in deaths when performing tasks while the skin is adorned. This can be purchased through the gift of bonding package series available in our in game shop.

Cost of obtaining the whirlwind teleportation decoration

After purchasing the package for $4.99, I was able to see what the next package in the series would provide for a $9.99 purchase.

While the packages offer some value, I would not recommend investing in this gift of bonding unless you have funds to spare, or if you are confident of the grand package is and you wish to obtain this item. Most of the items such as dragon essence can easily be obtained for free through the time rift spider event. The elemental exclusive artifact chests can be obtained via mysterium, resource chests from different calendar events, and dragon gems by defeating bosses. VIP points could be obtained by other purchases for similar dollar values. Therefore, unless you are looking for that special item released within that final package, I would not recommend a medium or low spender to invest in this event.

However, If you are a risk taker and want to know what bountiful treasure awaits, for $35 (a $5, $10, and $20 package investment), you can discover what resides in this last grand package for $49.99. 

What Castle Skins are helpful to Pair with this Teleportation Decoration

I tend to pair this skin most when fighting cities both in Norhiam and Frostborne wars with the Forbidden Zone Sovereign (contention of relics castle skin).

However, I find the combination also beneficial when adorning the great celebration castle decoration during the throne of supreme the added troop health with decreased death rates can tip the scales on a close match.

Helpful Hint: if you do have a close match ask for a governor position that will boost your spearmen, shieldmen, or calvary main damage dealer to give your team a greater advantage.

The skin could also be advantageous when an individual is using the Colosseum skin, Bon Voyage skin, and Mountain Barricade Skin when looking to boost your honor points. When you attack for honor one thing that helps increase those points in addition to damage performed to an enemies’ troops, garrison, wall fortifications, and friendly marches adding to the individual’s garrisons to fortify a castle is how few deaths you take as well when performing the attack. As such indirectly the decreased death rate teleportation skin also helps with honor points. However, if you have unlocked the fire dragon teleportation skin this one yields better results.

When to use the Teleportation Skin

As with all things in our game. Having unlocked the teleportation decoration is not enough. To gain the full advantage you need to understand the practical uses and when it is best equipped to yield the best results.

Similar to our Frosty Valor skin that was first introduced: 

The Whirlwind teleportation skin also offers a decreased death rate of -3%. I personally find the decreased death rate advantageous when fighting in Killing Events, throne of supreme, arena, attacking city walls, and gnome bosses, gnomes, and the world spider. I would recommend the $85 investment for this skin if you have not unlocked the Frost Valor teleportation skin in the past. I would not recommend obtaining two teleportation skins with the same buff as you can only use one teleportation skin at a given time. While I was hoping for a new teleportation skin for the boost of production speed of all resources or gathering speed. I am excited for those who missed out on the seasonal event to unlock the frosty valor skin to have a chance to discover the hidden benefits of using the decreased death teleportation skin. 

How I Would Rank Teleportation Skins Best to Worst

The value of each of these decorations is of course dependent on the individual lord and where they are in the game. 

Pre-conquest - production speed and gathering speed of resources could be a lot more advantageous than the SP recovery speed, honor, and decreased death rates. However, as you develop and maximize your buildings, technology, and dragons, the increased gold and resources may not be as valuable a boost as the decreased death rates, SP recovery speed and Honor. You may also find the resource skins valuable in events such as king of the hill for farming and building days and honor skins helpful for the contention of lords aspect of this event the last two days

Late Game (season 2 and Season 3) – here you may have reached castle 40, still need resources for dragons, artifacts, and technology. You might be looking also to gather resources quickly in Frostborne wars to increase your alliance coins to purchase portals to repeat a season in a different server. In this case the resource gathering speed and production speed of resources may still be advantageous, but you might also now have troops that are taking on definition, where skills are assigned, artifacts are being developed, and you are testing your strength in killing events, taking on stronger cities and gates, and killing stronger gnomes and world spiders where that decreased death rate becomes advantageous. You may also be looking to increase your nobility ranking and having reached level 40 castle unlocked secondary golden path quests where honor points will be needed. In this case your increased honor and decreased death rate teleportation skins take on a more significant role. But you might still want those production resources and gathering speeds increased during down times when you are not actively playing.

Conquest – Again when you enter conquest many have maximized their buildings, are close to completing if not have completed the technology trees, and the gathering resources quickly can only lend to being beneficial during KVK when trying to build those thermal towers quickly. In this stage of the game these decorations may not be as advantageous as the SP recovery speed to boost your immortals to try different marches, decreed deaths for battling stronger players with legendary skills, and the honor skin for gaining those extra honor points for our new golden path introduced in patch notes 2.7.7.

Conclusion

You do not want to miss out and let the clock strike zero, if you want a teleportation decoration to reduce your death rate, as this is available for only a limited time. This skin is valuable early game when helping your alliance capture cities to increase rewards, as you develop and grown and take on players that you need that added boost when fighting, stronger cities, in addition to more challenging gnomes and bosses. You will also find this skin advantageous in end game conquest seasons as you face off in killing events and throne of supreme. For this reason the $85 decreased death rate skin, I believe is a good deal.
