SKR's hopes are back in the 4th round of Alliance Conquest

After two painful losses in the Alliance Conquest season, but with a glimmer of hope from their win on the first round, SKR entered their fourth Alliance Conquest match with caution but lots of optimism as well, as they were ready for any challenge coming their way. Three wins this season was the goal that they wished to achieve, and with the help of SIR ST, their strongest fighter, they were going to aim for it and achieve the goal without any haste. They were confident in it for a few reasons, the most important one being that their teamwork was steadily improving in the last rounds despite the losses.

Their opponent for this round was going to be LBE, who was a new name for SKR, and for SIR ST. LBE were an alliance they had never faced before and they were unsure of what they were going to face against due to this reason. This unfamiliarity brought both excitement and anxiety to the whole team, as without knowing what they will face against, this was going to be a difficult endeavor, but a completely new territory which excited them.

What if LBE turned out to be another powerhouse, a few SKR members thought? But the morale was surprisingly high among all other members. Despite recent setbacks, the members of SKR believed in themselves and their rally leader, SIR ST.

For SIR ST, this match was personal, he wanted to be the reason why SKR wins, he wanted to be there to win it for them and see the alliance succeed. He did not want nor like to see his alliance fall short not only in points, but also when it comes to drawing the opposition, he considered their last 2 matches unfair. Their first round win had proven they could succeed when matched against an alliance their strength, but back-to-back losses against much stronger alliances had tested their spirits, and yet they had come out of it more motivated. For this reason alone, SIR ST wanted to win the match more than ever before. Thus he had spent hours before the match reviewing strategies, and reminding himself that this was their chance to show their strength and unity on the battlefield.

Once they had arrived onto the battlefield, his resolve grew even stronger, as LBE looked strong, but not unbeatable. He gathered everyone in the alliance and took charge with a speech before the match began. "This is our moment to bounce back. We’ve been knocked down, but we’ve gotten up every time and today, we fight as one, and we show LBE what SKR is made of, I am expecting a victory from us!”

The match began with the first races for the Warrior, Mother, and Outposts, just like every other match and SKR’s racers, who had incredible motivation after SIR ST's speech, were giving everything they had. And it paid off, SKR captured three out of the four initial buildings, leaving LBE scrambling to adjust their strategy.

SIR ST wasted no time in capturing the remaining building that was not in their possession, focusing his efforts on the Warrior with continuous solo attacks. And soon enough, SKR had captured it, now controlling the entirety of the battlefield, they had the upper hand and an incredible advantage right from the start.

But LBE was far from defeated, as the match had just begun, they were not going to give up this easily. They regrouped quickly and launched a wave of rallies on the close outpost, forcing the SKR rally leader out of the building, but seeing this, only fired SIR ST up. Right as the ports were about to unlock, the focus of both alliances switched to racing, but not SIR ST, who made use of the shift in focus to recapture the outpost, making sure SKR was not missing out on it.

When the Ports unlocked, SKR’s racers were ready and it showed, as they flawlessly secured both of them. LBE had shown no resistance anymore, they started giving up against the odds that they were facing.

The final race for Casterly Rock was normally the best moment in a match, as it was the most important building, but SIR ST couldn't help but be confused at LBE ceasing their efforts, but he was now going to slow march towards the building just in case SKR was going to lose the race. The racers lined up, and when the race began, they put everything they had into it, and capturing the Casterly Rock with ease.

“We’re swapping me into Casterly, get ready to reinforce and disband.” SIR ST announced. This was a bold strategy, requiring flawless timing and coordination to pull off without leaving the building vulnerable, but they had pulled it off in a few seconds, with LBE unable to react. SKR had come out on top, they had won and received their second victory of the season.

The members of SKR carried pride with them as they left the battlefield, alongside a hint of confidence in them being able to redo this success in the next round. Their journey wasn’t over, but this victory reminded them of what they were capable of. For SIR ST, it was a reaffirmation of his belief in his team, and showed that they could pull it off once again when it matters most.
