Welcome Lords and Ladies to another season of the Arena of Honor. After new changes to the matchmaking system and buffs from the troop camps, I wanted to see if this first battle would be impactful.

After a spectacular previous season, considering my account level, in which I reached the top 300, and the title of King, and almost reached the top 100, I was looking forward to the new season.

Once again, my semi-official team would be unavailable, so I would start this journey alone.

Participating in the event in a random team is risky. Good results in AoH are intrinsically linked to coordinated work. Help from allies is essential to maximize fortifications, drain mines, and especially to hold the City of Glory!!

Upon entering the battlefield, I greeted everyone in the clan, and quickly explained my strategy (due to the Glory score, I was leading the team). In response, I was greeted by some, citing Lord Txredneck and Lord Joerem, both of whom would also stand out during the course of the match. We would defend the banner of House Tyrell.

I quickly tried to assess the enemy clans. Despite some reasonably strong numbers, there seemed to be no one who was surprising at this first moment.

When the battle began, I quickly tried to garrison our clan castle and send troops to maximize construction. After the initial stage, I saw that some tried to build trading posts. As the leader, I had to quickly convert them into offensive camps! The end result would show that my strategy would be the most appropriate (or so I hoped)! Lol

The same thing happened in the second row of fortifications, but as I continued to pay attention, I converted the trading posts into fortifications, especially the infantry ones, to help my line up.

A quick glance among the enemies, I saw that everyone had chosen to build trading posts. I smiled when I saw such a strategy from the enemies...

As planned, the initial stages proceeded to a tune. As soon as the bubbles on the Watchtower, and later on the catapults, fell, we dominated these buildings. And with the points, we surpassed all the opponents, and reached the lead.

The next expectation was to conquer the City of Glory. The control of the building or not could completely change the final result.

A second before the city opened, I alerted everyone in the clan, and returned my main march to my castle.

When the bubble collapsed, I quickly started a mobilization, and anxiously waited for the other members to reinforce me, or for them to also start other rallies. Lords AvatarGOT, Txredneck, OSMANKENOBI joined the mobilization. After the reinforcement by these members, less than I desired, including the fact that few troops were infantry, I launched my attack. The anticipation grew as the troops approached the target. The enemy clans also launched attacks, and the City's defenses were weakening... Any other fights on the battlefield were neglected by me. I watched closely as my infantry slowly advanced towards the City of Glory. The snow fell heavily, and made it difficult for the troops to advance. But the commanders' shouts and the sound of the trumpets encouraged the soldiers to advance. Already close to the city, arrows were flying towards us, but there was no prospect of being able to stop us. Our attack was overwhelming. The enemy troops were decimated, and we quickly raised our flag in the City.

The next challenge would be to defend ourselves against attacks from all the other clans. We would now be the target. And quickly, the enemies began solo attacks and demonstrations to test our defenses. I observed numerous enemy scouts spying on our defenses inside the castle. And the attacks continued to fall on our troops. I continually requested reinforcements from the Clan, and some of the warriors from my clan still active in the battle answered the call.

The mobilizations led by Lord Temka, Lord Lady Ani and Dragon Zoo, all also using an infantry formation, failed against my bleeding line up with Sinara, Rhea and Kevin!

Time passed, and although our troops had suffered heavy losses, we still resisted. Even enemy rallies formed by cavalry were incipient, as there were not many troops. I thanked the Old Gods, and celebrated when the protective bubble finally appeared!!

While the City was protected, I removed all the troops, and asked my companions to renew the protection for when the bubble collapsed again.

Then, we returned our attention to the battlefield again. Despite the large advantage, there were still points to be won!!

House Lannister's defenses were weakened, and so we managed to take the castle, despite an intense fight!

The battles also became bloody at the Altars of the Maidens and Minas. But when the bubble of Glory City collapsed once more, the enemies made little effort to attempt to assault it. A new rally from Lady Ani did little damage. Despite the synergy, Sinara alone is not as effective!!

In this way, we seal our victory in an indisputable way with the control of the map!

In the end, all the clan members still present celebrated, and I also sighed in relief, as the leader, that we had achieved victory! And bring on the next battles!!
