[Review] Server Sleuth: Summary and Analysis of Servers 301 Through 305 in Infinity Kingdom

💠Introduction

What’s up, folks? Welcome to my edition of Server Sleuths where I’m going to take a look at each server, five servers at a time, to give you all the details from their rankings and Legion of Frostborne(LoF) efforts to their world chat and activeness. Players are always looking for new servers to jump to and scout for LoF so I hope to provide some information on servers so you don’t have to make accounts for those you’re not interested in. Space Portals are an expensive investment so this can serve as a guide for you to determine which server may best suit your playstyle. I will also be updating the server rankings on the Infinity Kingdom Discord Community as we go along. In this article, we’ll take a look at servers 301 through 305.

💠Server 301

Server 301 is a three-color server in practice, but they could get rid of the Vitas faction since most of the power resides in the Ruslan and Ydvia factions. Infinity Kingdom(IK) is the red faction’s alliance that houses 118 members with a total of 99 million power. NorthernWarriors(NW) belongs to Ydvia and holds 126 players with a total of 82 million power. The Avengers(TV), the black sheep of the server, only has 62 players with a total of 43 million power. The top five range from 270k to 320k and the top three all use Shadow marches. If they condensed into two factions, they would be a little stronger. As far as younger servers go, 301’s activity pales in comparison to some of their peers. They are probably struggling in their first KvK season as a result of that. 301 is matched with the next three servers and will lose to 302 and end with zero cities to their name. The server has no trouble completing COR and they started rotating between the three alliances after the first three. The migration limit is set at 700,000 power. For a potential migrator, this server is not as attractive as some of the surrounding servers. They will likely lose most of their early KvKs unless they get an influx of players and that’s usually the make-or-break factor in young servers.

💠Server 302

Server 302 is a balanced three-color server. Legion of Aslan(LoA) leads Ruslan with 134 members and a total of 115 million power. Spartans(MAD) rules over Ydvia with 131 members and a total of 104 million power. Spirit of Thunder(SOT) oversees Vitas and 139 members with 101 million power. The top five players range from 274k to 322k and the top three are all fielding Shadow marches. 302 is an incredibly strong server with high activity and numbers to back it up which is why it is not surprising to see them dominate the entire KvK map alone against Servers 301, 303, and 304 who have high spenders of their own. They have no issues completing and rotating COR, but they rotate after two rounds per color. The migration limit is set at 700,000 power. They also have two alliances in the IBL playoff hunt. SOT is ranked 30 and MAD is ranked 58. They do not seem like they have any internal issues either. I would consider giving them a look as they have the whole package.

💠Server 303

Server 303 is a red and blue server that is mostly top-heavy. Unyielding Legacy(UV) hails from Ruslan and houses 137 members with a total of 80 million power. DragonkinDynasty(DKD) leads Ydvia and 109 players with a total of 66 million power. The top five range from 191k to 321k with the top three using Shadow marches. Their strength is significantly lower than most of their surrounding servers and do not have as much activity either. They are currently losing KvK to Server 302 and control only one city that was given to them for donations. They complete COR and rotate the crown between the two colors. The migration limit is set at 700,000 power. Truthfully, I do not see long-term potential from 303 unless they can convince a number of migrants to join them. Being down to two colors this early in their server life does not generally bode well for the future. They will also lose to Server 302 for at least another two seasons so that’s also something to consider.

💠Server 304

Server 304 is a three-color server with multiple alliances in each color. Empire of Thunder(IG) is the main Vitas alliance that has 102 members and a total of 55 million power. The Sleepers(TS) is the main Ruslan alliance and has 107 players and 45 million power. BROKEN CRAYONS(BC) is the main Ydvia alliance. It has 79 members with a total of 33 million power. The top five have powers between 213k and 238k with the top three all fielding Shadow marches. Unfortunately, a couple of players at the top cannot seem to agree to join the strongest alliance in each faction so they are split across smaller alliances. The server’s activity pales in comparison to many of their neighboring servers too. 304 has some cities in KvK, likely due to the generosity of Server 302. 304 is unlikely going to win many seasons in the future. The server has not completed COR in about two weeks and they do not seem to be in a rush to. The server migration limit is set at 600,000 power, but I would look elsewhere for better prospects.

💠Server 305

Last but not least, Server 305 is a three-color server as well. Gotham(GOTH) rules over Ruslan and 104 players with a total of 104 million power. Tempest Federation(JURA) heads Vitas with its 87 members who have a total of 49 million power. TheAvengers(Hero) controls Ydvia and has 80 players with a total of 37 million power. The top five players range from 237k to 329k with the top three all using Shadow marches. The server is fairly strong but realistically, they can merge and condense into two colors for more benefits. Hero can split between GOTH and JURA and create two stronger alliances instead of three weak ones. They just started their KvK with Servers 306, 307, and 308. The Zone 1 gates haven’t even opened yet. I suspect 305 will not be taking the win this season due to their seemingly lower activity numbers. COR has only been rotated between Ruslan and Vitas with Ruslan taking the majority of the turns. There is no migration limit set. JURA is also in the middle of an IBL playoff hunt at rank 51. Server 305 is worth consideration for those who are looking for a smaller community.

💠Summary

Shadow teams rule this batch of servers and the standout is Server 302. The server is populous, active, and strong. Servers 301, 303, and 305 are in a similar boat where they are a step below. Server 304 is not worth migrating to, in my opinion, due to its lack of cohesion and low player base.
