However, there is a goddess who has taken hold of his heart, which has caused him many problems in life, and now he must make difficult decisions to fix his errors.
🔷 Summary of Part 7: “No Mercy for Monster”
Leonidas, the king of Sparta, ventures into a dark forest to hunt down the Goblin King after a relentless series of battles with his minions, determined to protect his kingdom. After slaying countless goblins, he faces the formidable Goblin King in a final showdown that will determine his fate and the future of Sparta.
🔷 Part 8: “Head of the King”
The Goblin King’s guttural roar split the air as he charged at Leonidas, his massive club raised high, the bones of fallen enemies wrapped around his body. Leonidas met the beast's charge head-on, his spear in hand, his muscles coiled like a spring. As the Goblin King swung his club with terrifying force, Leonidas darted to the side, narrowly avoiding the blow. In that fleeting moment, he thrust his spear deep into the Goblin King's side. The creature howled in pain, but the strike was not enough to bring it down.
With a snarl, the Goblin King swung again, this time aiming at Leonidas’s head. Leonidas ducked, spinning around the creature with the grace of a predator. He thrust his spear forward once more, this time into the Goblin King's chest, driving it deep. The Goblin King staggered back, its yellow eyes widening in disbelief.
Leonidas, determined to end this once and for all, unsheathed his sword. In one swift motion, he sliced through the air, severing the Goblin King's head clean off its shoulders. The body slumped, lifeless, to the ground with a heavy thud, and the last of the goblin scourge fell.
Panting heavily, Leonidas stood over the fallen beast. The silence in the forest seemed to stretch forever as the weight of the battle settled over him. He had won. The Goblin King was dead, and with it, the terror that had plagued his kingdom.
Without hesitation, Leonidas gripped the severed head of the Goblin King, lifting it high as a grim trophy. His heart pounded, adrenaline still coursing through his veins, as he began the journey back to Sparta. The weight of the head felt like a promise—a promise to his people that he would protect them at all costs.
When Leonidas returned to Sparta, the city erupted in celebration. His people poured into the streets, their cheers deafening as they welcomed their king home. The warriors raised their shields, and the women cried out in joy. The head of the Goblin King was raised high, a symbol of Leonidas’s strength and resolve.
But there was hesitation beneath the praise. War heroes were celebrated in Sparta, but the king’s prolonged absence and the relentless nature of his battles had left a lingering uncertainty among the people. Still, the halls of Sparta could not contain their pride. The feast that followed was unlike any other. Roasted meats, wine, and bread filled the long tables, and the sounds of music and laughter echoed through the city.
As the feast neared its end, Leonidas stood before the gathered crowd. His armor was still stained with the blood of his enemies, but his eyes shone with a different kind of fire—one that had nothing to do with battle. He raised his cup, silencing the crowd.
“I am in love with a goddess,” he declared, his voice strong but filled with an unspoken wonder.
The room fell quiet, every eye now fixed on their king. Murmurs rippled through the crowd, uncertain of what they had just heard.
Leonidas continued, his gaze unwavering, “Her name is Ninetails.”
A hushed silence followed. The atmosphere in the hall grew heavy with anticipation, the air thick with disbelief.
And then, as if summoned by his words, a soft light filled the hall. Slowly, gracefully, a figure appeared. Her long silver hair flowed like a river of moonlight, and behind her, nine ethereal tails glowed with a soft, golden light. The room gasped as the figure revealed herself—Ninetails, the goddess of mystery and the hunt, stood before them.
The crowd was frozen in awe, unable to comprehend what they were seeing. A divine being, standing among mere mortals. Leonidas stepped forward, his heart swelling with pride and love.
Ninetails smiled, her eyes gleaming with ancient wisdom, and the crowd’s shock quickly turned to awe. The king of Sparta, revered not only as a warrior but now as the lover of a goddess. The gods themselves had turned their gaze upon Sparta, and no one would ever forget this night.
