Genghis Khan: The Anti-Sustain Burst Carry in Infinity Kingdom!

Genghis Khan is simple. Full-field burst. Ten seconds of healing denial. No gimmicks. No randomness. In a meta full of sustain and layered recovery, that alone keeps him relevant. But only if you build him correctly.

Arrowstorm: What It Actually Does

Arrowstorm hits every enemy on the field. At max level, it reaches 500% Physical scaling. That alone makes it one of the strongest full-field burst ultimates among Epic immortals. But damage is only half the story. Every cast applies Serious Wound for 10 seconds. That blocks all forms of healing:

  • Active healing ultimates
  • Passive regeneration
  • Dragon recovery cycles

This transforms Arrowstorm from “strong burst” into “fight control.” In sustained battles, preventing recovery often decides the outcome more reliably than adding another damage multiplier.

Khan does not spike randomly. He applies pressure methodically. And when Wound lands early, the enemy loses their safety net.

Exclusive Artifact Impact

Khan’s artifact increases Arrowstorm’s total damage by 30%. There is no mechanic change. No extra effect. Just amplification. Because nearly all his impact is concentrated in one ultimate, a flat 30% modifier is more meaningful on him than on multi-trigger immortals.

With artifact equipped, his AoE shifts from strong to oppressive in mid-game PvP.

Without it, he remains viable.

With it, he becomes threatening.

This is a rare case where the artifact is directly aligned with identity. I recommend Physical damage % as main attributes and annhilation

Energy and Cast Timing

Khan’s real performance depends on timing.

If he casts first, he dictates the pace.

If he is delayed or stunned before casting, he falls behind quickly.

He must win the opening energy race.

That makes Battle Excitation mandatory in serious builds for his backrow partner:

  • +200 starting energy
  • +55% damage dealt

This ensures the fastest possible first Arrowstorm and immediate Wound application.

Without early cast acceleration, aggressive burst teams will outpace him.

Khan is not about total damage over time.

He is about securing the first decisive window.

Team Structure That Work

Khan performs best when placed inside a defensive shell. Not because he lacks damage, but because his entire value depends on casting Arrowstorm consistently. If his first cast lands early and uninterrupted, the fight immediately tilts in your favor.

That is why Earth-heavy structures tend to work so well around him. They provide mitigation on the frontline, sustain in the backline, and enough stability to keep Khan alive until his second and third ultimate cycles.

Typical structure focuses on three things:

  • Strong frontline mitigation; YSS and Charles can work but Alex or Bjorn can help in specific use cases. Bjorn to amplify Khan's output and Alex to reduce ennemy's energy with Knife Through Butter.
  • Backline sustain and protection
  • Energy support to accelerate Arrowstorm

Once that structure is in place, Khan does the rest. His job is simple: burst the entire field and apply Wound before the enemy can stabilize.

In many cases, this setup proves more reliable than full Lightning compositions. Lightning builds can produce higher burst spikes, but they are also far less forgiving if Khan gets interrupted early.

Some of the whales also use him as part of Chaos teams with reliable results in this healing meta.

Fu Fei as the best backrow partner

Fu Fei is easily Khan’s strongest partner. She solves the single biggest problem Khan faces: interruption.

Her ultimate provides three critical tools at once:

  •  Full-team healing
  •  Control removal
  •  Almost continuted control immunity

If Khan gets stunned before casting, his entire pressure window disappears. Fu Fei prevents that scenario.

But her real value goes further than protection. Because she removes the need for defensive insurance, she frees one of Khan’s skill slots. Instead of running defensive options, Khan can fully commit to damage scaling.

Without Fu Fei, Fighting Master becomes almost mandatory. With Fu Fei, that slot can turn into pure damage.

That difference alone significantly increases Khan’s ceiling.

Skill Builds

Here are two of the main skills set up on Khan depending on your budget.

Low Investment

  • Fighting Master
  • Anger
  • Upgrade toward Time to Shine when available.

This setup focuses on stability first. Fighting Master protects the ultimate cycle, while Anger provides reliable physical damage scaling. As progression continues, Time to Shine becomes the natural upgrade because it synergizes extremely well with Khan’s burst profile.

The goal here is simple: make sure Arrowstorm always fires.

Consistency matters more than maximum burst at this stage.

High Investment

  • Corrosive Power
  • Energy Mastery
  • Time to Shine

This is the hyper-regen configuration that turns Khan into a much more dangerous carry.

Energy Mastery accelerates ultimate cycling. Every cast fuels the next one. Corrosive Power increases the damage pressure across the fight, and Time to Shine pushes critical burst even further.

When these three skills work together, Arrowstorm stops being a spike and becomes a repeating threat.

Specialization should always be Deadly Aim.

  • +30% Critical Rate
  • +50% Physical Damage

Few immortals benefit from this specialization as cleanly as Khan. His entire design revolves around burst scaling, and Deadly Aim amplifies exactly that.

Why Wound Still Wins Games

Healing is everywhere in today’s meta.

Earth defensive cores rely on it.

Hybrid sustain builds depend on it.

Dragon recovery loops reinforce it.

Most teams are designed around surviving long enough to reset the fight.

Khan removes that option.

Serious Wound shuts down the recovery window entirely and 10 seconds is a lot of time. When healing disappears, sustain strategies collapse much faster than players expect.

That is why Khan remains relevant even when other carries technically outdamage him on paper.

He does not need to win the damage race.

He just needs to deny the enemy’s reset. Once sustain is gone, burst becomes decisive.

Sometimes preventing healing is stronger than adding another damage multiplier.

Maël’s Opinion

Genghis Khan is not the highest DPS carry in 2026.

But he remains one of the most reliable.

He does not rely on random procs.

He does not depend on complicated triggers.

He bursts.

He wounds.

He repeats.

When supported correctly and given the energy he needs, he becomes a very effective anti-sustain carry.

Without that structure, his performance drops quickly.

Khan rewards disciplined builds and proper support.

And in Infinity Kingdom, structure usually wins more battles than raw damage alone.
