Some Legendary skills rely on setup. Others depend on timing or very specific team structures. Battle Frenzy does neither. It triggers on every energy cast, applies damage across the entire enemy team, and weakens the one unit that matters most. There is no condition to meet, no randomness to manage, and no specific composition required to make it work. That simplicity is what makes it so effective.

Introduction: Legendary Skills and Accessibility

Legendary skills are not just stronger versions of Epic skills. They sit in a different layer of the game, both in terms of power and accessibility. Most players do not interact with them early, and even later on, access depends on budget, long-term accumulation, and direct investment. This creates a gap where some tools are simply not available to everyone.

Battle Frenzy fits directly into that context. It is not complex, and it does not require a specific setup to be effective, but once unlocked, it immediately changes how a fight plays out. Unlike many Legendary skills that only reach their full value in optimized builds, Battle Frenzy delivers consistent output from the moment you equip it. That combination of simplicity and impact is part of what makes it stand out. Unlike standard skills that rely on Soul Crystals, Legendary Skills require Ability Stones for unlocking and upgrading, introducing an added level of exclusivity and dedication.

Maël’s Opinion: Battle Frenzy is easy to understand, but not easy to access. Whether you're a light spender aiming for long-term progress or a whale ready to unlock every skill, legendary skills offer something for everyone.....at a cost.

What Battle Frenzy Actually Brings

Battle Frenzy combines two effects that rarely appear together with this level of consistency. Each time the equipped immortal casts an energy skill, the ability triggers automatically. It deals :

  • 400% physical damage to all enemies and
  • reduces the physical damage of the enemy with the highest physical attack by 50% for 9 seconds.

There is no randomness in this interaction. The skill activates every time the condition is met, which means its performance is directly tied to how often your immortal casts. This makes it easy to evaluate and predictable in combat. If your energy cycle is active, the skill is contributing.

What makes this combination strong is the way the two effects complement each other. The AoE damage applies constant pressure to the entire enemy team, while the debuff focuses on weakening the opponent’s primary source of damage. You are not choosing between offense and control. You are applying both at the same time.

Maël’s Opinion: The strength of Battle Frenzy is clarity. You always know when it triggers and what it does, which is rare at this level.

Damage Profile: Steady, Not Explosive

The 400% AoE damage component looks strong on paper, but its real value comes from repetition rather than impact. Battle Frenzy is not designed to create burst windows or sudden spikes in damage. Instead, it builds pressure gradually through repeated activations.

Because it triggers on every energy cast, the damage scales naturally with fight duration and energy regeneration. In longer engagements, especially in PvP scenarios with multiple targets, this consistent output becomes a meaningful portion of total damage dealt. It does not replace your main damage source, but it reinforces it continuously.

This also makes the skill stable across different matchups. There are no positioning requirements, no targeting conditions, and no reliance on timing alignment. The damage is applied regularly and predictably, which makes it easier to integrate into any composition.

Maël’s Opinion: Battle Frenzy doesn’t win fights with one moment. It makes sure your pressure never drops, and over time, that’s often more valuable.

Targeted Suppression : The Real Value?

The defining part of Battle Frenzy is not the damage, but the debuff. Reducing the physical damage of the enemy with the highest physical attack by 50% for 9 seconds directly impacts how the opponent’s composition functions.

This debuff lands on the main carry. The unit responsible for the majority of the opponent’s output suddenly becomes significantly less effective. Because the duration is long relative to most combat cycles, and because the skill can trigger multiple times, the uptime on this debuff can be very high, especially in sustained fights.

This does not stop the opponent from dealing damage, but it reduces the impact of their most important unit (if mqin carry physical). The result is a gradual shift in the fight. Your frontline holds longer, your team survives initial pressure more comfortably, and the opponent’s win condition becomes less reliable.

Battle Frenzy aligns almost perfectly with standard energy cycles. For instance, around 110 energy per second, the skill triggers roughly every 9 seconds, matching the debuff duration. This creates continuous suppression of the enemy’s main physical carry, especially in longer fights.

Maël’s Opinion: The damage is consistent, but the debuff is what wins fights. Reducing the main carry’s output changes the entire dynamic of the battle.

Energy Scaling and Trigger Frequency

Battle Frenzy scales directly with energy regeneration. The more frequently your immortal casts their energy skill, the more often Battle Frenzy triggers. This increases both the total damage output and the uptime of the debuff.

In high energy regeneration builds, the difference is noticeable. The skill triggers often enough that both effects begin to feel continuous rather than periodic. The AoE damage becomes a steady source of pressure, and the debuff can overlap or refresh before it expires, maintaining near-constant suppression of the enemy carry. The following combo : Battle Frenzy; Energy Mastery and Corrosive Power works very well on immortals such as Medusa, Apollo or even Khan in high energy regen builds.

In standard builds, without additional energy investment, the skill still performs well. It triggers less frequently, but the long duration of the debuff ensures that its impact remains significant. This makes Battle Frenzy effective both as an optimized core component and as a plug-and-play upgrade.

Maël’s Opinion: Battle Frenzy works without optimization, but scales extremely well with it. That flexibility is part of its value.

Where It Fits: Flexible by Design

One of the strengths of Battle Frenzy is how easily it integrates into different team structures. It is not tied to a specific role or archetype. It can be used on main damage dealers, secondary damage units, or even frontline immortals that remain active throughout the fight.

Because the debuff targets the enemy’s highest physical attack, the value of the skill does not depend entirely on the user’s damage output. This allows it to be effective even when placed on units that are not the primary source of damage, as long as they can trigger it consistently.

This flexibility makes it particularly useful in compositions where stability and control matter as much as raw damage. It reinforces existing strategies rather than forcing new ones.

Beyond main physical carries mentioned in the previous section (Khan, Apollo and Medusa), I've seen players use Battle Frenzy on :

  • Anubis: Not a carry, but a tank that stays alive long enough to naturally maintain higher uptime on the debuff. Can also contribute to the AoE component through his deadly sandstorm Ultimate.
  • Hippolyta: Another strong example is Hippolyta. With her high energy regeneration, she triggers Battle Frenzy more frequently than most immortals, which allows the debuff to refresh before it expires. In practice, this leads to permanent suppression of the enemy’s main physical carry, (alongside energy suppression from her Ultimate) while still contributing meaningful damage through repeated activations.
Maël’s Opinion : Battle Frenzy doesn’t define your team. It strengthens it. That’s why it fits almost everywhere.

Limits and Trade-Offs

Despite its reliability, Battle Frenzy is not a universal solution. It provides damage and targeted suppression but...

In fast burst matchups, where fights are decided quickly, the skill may not have enough time to fully realize its value.

Similarly, in compositions that do not rely heavily on a physical carry, the debuff becomes less impactful.

It also competes for a skill slot. Choosing Battle Frenzy means giving up other options that may offer more specialized or immediate effects depending on the situation.

Maël’s Opinion: Battle Frenzy is rarely a bad choice, but it is not always the optimal one. It favors consistency over specialization.

Conclusion

Battle Frenzy stands out because it delivers value without requiring conditions. It triggers consistently, applies pressure across the entire enemy team, and weakens the opponent’s main source of damage. Its effectiveness does not depend on specific setups, and it scales naturally with energy regeneration and fight duration.

It does not redefine how fights are played, but it stabilizes how they unfold. In a system where many skills depend on timing, synergy, or chance, Battle Frenzy offers a more predictable approach.

Maël’s Opinion: Battle Frenzy is not a highlight skill. It is a foundation. If you value consistency and control, it quickly becomes one of the safest and most reliable Legendary options available.
