💠Illusion Battlefield League
After seven weeks of IBL, we have some of the usual suspects occupying most of the top 8 spots. With only three weeks left and most teams having already used their two byes, alliances are hoping to win their final games to secure a top 8 berth. Getting into the top 8 means the alliances will avoid other contenders until the Top 16 Duels. Currently, CUBS, BUNS, GN, SF, PRD, VEX, NG+, and WP occupy the spots. This past week, there was only one match between contenders. Server 170’s SF won a rematch against Server 73’s PRD. Coming up, there are a few interesting matches that may change the rankings of several teams slated for the playoffs. You can catch the live action and replays of the featured matchups in the IB section of Daily Talks.
- Server 38’s VEX (Rank 6) will be challenging Server 73’s BUNS (Rank 2) at 14:00 UTC
- Server 73’s MYK (Rank 18) will be battling Server 191’s Inka (Rank 16) at 20:00 UTC
- Server 193’s KoF (Rank 13) will be facing off against Server 283’s BB (Rank 14) at 20:00 UTC
💠Legion of Frostborne
Only a few days remain before Zone 3 gates are available to attack, 25 days into the event. All of the winners in every bracket have been decided and there should be no more surprises entering into Zone 3. The results of some of the notable brackets are as follows:
- In Legion 245, Server 170 shared Zone 3 with the rest of the servers and will likely share Zone 3 with Server 139
- In Legion 246, Server 38 completely dominated the coalition of Servers 56, 136, and 143. They are confined to their starting zones while 38 has full control of Zone 2
- In Legion 249, Servers 66, 105, and 231 control Zone 2 while Servers 82 and 193 are shut out
- In Legion 252, Server 73 shared the map and they will share Zone 3 with Server 209.
💠Squad Survival Tournament
The test season of the new Squad Survival Tournament has concluded after a weeklong struggle. The event was available twice a day at 10:00 UTC and 22:00 UTC for three days. Teams could play up to six matches. The K00l Kids, made up of daddyK00L, Casores, and ARREPA, from Server 209 took first place. Persephone, Hades, and Snowe from Server 38 formed Underworld and took second. AWGAWG, consisting of BMW, Mancity, and 카이핫세, from Server 105 took third. All three teams will get the maximum rewards of 60 Random Holy/Shadow Immortal Fragments, 60 Shadow and Light Artifact Schematic Fragment Selection Chests, and 30 3-hour Healing Speedups. The key to the event is to play as many rounds and get as much honor as possible in each round. A squad’s final score is determined by the highest points earned across all the matches. While unsure when the next season will begin, there will likely be tweaks to the event.
💠Summary
Three weeks of IBL remain and every team is fighting for a spot in the top eight. CUBS, BUNS, GN, SF, PRD, VEX, NG+, and WP currently occupy the slots. Every interesting bracket in Legion of Frostborne has been decided before Zone 3 opened. Servers 38, 73, 105, and 170 will win theirs while Servers 56, 82, 136, and 136 will lose. With the test season of Squad Survival wrapped up, squads from Servers 209, 38, and 105 took the first three ranks, respectively.
