More benefits, more surprises
Alliance Conquest the first match of season twenty. Two alliances will be matched together and enter the battlefield map. The emerald and gold banners of WEE flew high over the battlefield, as House Lannister’s grandiosity had shown. On the other side of the battlefield, white and red checkered banners of the competing alliance tSF. The alliances earn points by defeating the enemy players, occupying locations on the battlefield, or capturing the location for the first time. There are eleven different locations for capture on the map. Different locations have different functions including buffs and point rewards.
WEE occupying the Lannister side with their strategy and uncanny effectiveness, WEE had dispatched their finest rally leaders and fillers. Their rulers had gold-trimmed armor – a reminder of prosperity and fierce determination. Yahweh the Queen and Duke of WEE with her spears weakness synergy and her sword Holy Fire. She leads WEE with immense experience and bravery. By her side Not Nolram is a strategist whose strategic genius would win any war with his F5 commanders and Total Attack synergies. RosannA is a shooter of unrivalled prowess, her arrows flinging accurate even at an insurmountable distance.
tSF occupying the Targaryen side. The fire and blood-fueled tSF alliance leaned on strength and violence. They fought in black armor, dragon sigils sewn into their shields. Jo Chemik is a furious warrior whose spears sliced through defenders. Dolas1 is a sorcerer whose magic with fire burned the map. Yennefer is an outspoken commander who moved her troops through speech and deed.
The battleground exploded in an explosion as both forces surged forward. The first capture is The Temple of the mother. WEE – House Lannister – set off from the east coast of the map, their army ready and ruthless. Behind them, tSF, House Targaryen’s champions, marched west, their men bloodthirsty and uncompromising.
WEE’s precision and coordination allowed them to establish first capture of The Temple of the Mother Now WEE needs to grab the tower of the warrior for the special Blessings of the seven buff. Where capturing both The Mother and the Warrior give a healing speed of ten percent and a total base attack of ten. This will definitely give an advantage when capturing other buildings. Although WEE wasn’t fast enough to capture the tower of the warrior, WEE is able to see that tSF is not reinforcing fast enough. Once the protection bubble dropped, they were able to send in three solo attacks back-to-back to take the Warrior from tSF. tSF tried to rally the mother but it was too soon in the match and needed their rally leaders and troops for the next set of captures that were approaching quickly.
Every attack on the outpost triggered a huge roar from WEE soldiers. The walls of the outpost blasted with an electrical warmth, their rocks briefly flickering with the passion and pride of the winners. “Good job everyone, keep going!”
The battle at Lannister Port was bloody. Yahweh who was organizing WEE arrived to find tSF’s Jo Chemik in front of his warriors. Troops of tSF soldiers sped in fast, their shields squeezed together in tight bands, and their infantry weakness held WEE back. “We need our port. Rally leaders, we need rallies fast. Everyone fill rallies and send quickly” As soon as the first rally hit tSF’s troops disbursed the port. WEE sent reinforcements quickly to secure the building.
The Targaryen Port, to the east, became an area of tSF opposition. While Dolas1’s fire magic was burning WEE forces to the ground and Yennefer’s control of the situation left tSF’s lines solid, the defenders resisted multiple incoming solo attacks from smaller WEE players. However Not Norlam was able to capture it with a single monstrous hit.
So far WEE has captured the mother, the warrior, both outposts and secured both ports. Occupying the Temple of the mother and any Outpost at the same time will increase the healing speed. Promptly WEE need to secure Casterly Rock. Occupying the ports and Casterly Rock will boost total base health by five.
The battlefield became dark as both alliances geared up for the ultimate match. At the top of a steep cliff stood Casterly Rock, its gold walls glistening in the afternoon light. This old place of power was now the prize, and no one could afford to give up.
The opposing team of Jo Chemik, Dolas1 and Yennefer planned tSF’s next attack. The atmosphere was charged, the earth shaking under the load of advanced synergy commanders and line ups.
WEE’s army arrived at the base of the Rock and the battlefield roared to a screech. Yahweh thrust out her sword of holy fire, its light tracing the way ahead. A war cry from across the battle map, their duel at the base of Casterly Rock was a duel of raw force and energized will, every blow firing smolders into the evening sky.
They were surrounded by Dolas1’s magic fire, and the barrier between them and their defenders were burned. Yennefer had been defeated, so she kept healing and running solos, but it was too late. A coordinated assault and WEE stormed towards the walls of Casterly Rock and was set to win it all.
You could see that tSF was healing while their white and red banners were waving in the wind. After healing they quickly hid their troops so they could set up to take the mines. The mines have a total of nine thousand points for each one. There are no first capture points and when the points are gone, they don’t replenish. It’s important to reinforce the mines quickly as they give forty points for each troop every minute.
The mines become the prize in a game between two sides as they prepare for the epic encounter. With one last shot at some points for tSF and WEE are bringing this match to a close. tSF are able to capture the mines quickly but Not Norlam’s daring assault became a legend within WEE’s ranks and made him known as a brave and skilled boss. His rapid, decisive steps had not only sealed the mine but WEE’s remaining control over the game.
Though WEE may have won this match, it is a bittersweet win. They will enjoy the victory but there will be another match to come and WEE will have to be ready. WEE will now have to prepare for the next battle to come. They will need to adapt to a more difficult, less predictable future, their plan of force of will might have worked this time, but in future they’ll be a little more fluid in faster captures of the buildings and quicker reinforcing. This is only the first match the challenges only get harder from here. While planning progressed, WEE’s leadership contemplated how far they had come. They had gone from an underdog group to a superpower, and they had succeeded by working hard and winning. But they knew it would be a defeat if they sat back and took it easy.
"The victory isn’t a destination, it’s a journey," Queen Yahweh said to her commanders. "And we are far from the end. Our biggest test will come in the next game, but we’ll get it".
See you next match. Thank you for reading.
