It's almost the end of 2024 for Westeros too but right before the end of year party that will take place on King's Landing, there was something left to do for alliances in Westeros, registering for the first battle of Alliance Conquest. Alliance Conquest is an event across all Westeros that takes place once every few months, where alliances face each other in very adrenaline rushed battles of 1 hour with the purpose of accumulating ranking points and, at the end of the 6 rounds of season, be in the first 16 alliances and qualify for Ultimate Conquest. As you all know, or don't know, one of [N0X] goals as alliance is reaching Ultimate Conquest and as they were very close to do so in the season 18 and season 19, they were determined to make 'it this time, one step at a time. In the prior days to the fight, they tried to strengthen their roster as good as they could and make all preparations in order to put up their best fight. On the 31th December after all the strongest [N0X] members listed their rally leading abilities, the leadership announced everyone's positions in the roster and Shado was amazed that despite not winning too many races in the past seasons he still made 'it to the racing list. With roster done and all things set in place it was now time for the New Year's party, everyone had a good time and on the first day of 2025 it was time for the first battle. However, upon returning and checking the matchmaking list, [N0X] that was expecting an equal opponent for the first battle as it usually happens in first fight of all seasons, had a big surprise, and not a good one. Instead of getting an accessible opponent, they got [RRH], a quite stronger alliance compared with [N0X], an alliance that usually makes Ultimate Conquest.

This was quite a blow to [N0X] plans, they didn't expect this to happen but couldn't do anything to change 'it so the leadership decided that every [N0X] warrior should do their best and against all odds, try to win this round. Some changes also took place on the rosters to try and adapt to whatever [RRH] will throw at them. As it was getting late and the sun was setting outside, everyone in [N0X] did last minute preparations and at 18:30 they started entering the battlefield.

Despite being the first day of the new year and everyone being tired after the parties, there were a lot of warriors showing up for the battle, on both sides. For [N0X] it was the 2nd best attendance over all the alliance events, with 87 warriors entering the battlefield while [RRH] had 95. An advantage for [RRH] in terms of numbers but not an insurmountable one.

About 30 minutes after the entering period, the actual fight started with opening of 4 buildings, the Targaryen and Lannister Ouposts, Temple of the Warrior and Temple of the Mother. Shado was assigned to race for Temple of the Mother along with a few other [N0X] racers, he equipped his best racing boots but despite him trying his best, he lost the race, not to worry though it was to another [N0X] member, Maranaya. The Temple of the Warrior also went into [N0X] possession as ROCK7 did a good job and secured the first occupying points. The outposts however went into [RRH] posession. [N0X] then performed a swap on the Temple of the Warrior, swapping ROCK7 for Belore II, one of the strongest warriors of [N0X]

Of course, [RRH] wouldn't just stay out and let [N0X] have the buildings and having the superior force in the battle they quickly assembled a signifiant force of solo attacks and tried to deal with Belore II swiftly.

Their plan didn't really work out, as Belore II isn't that easily to solo so they went back on the drawing board and decided to rally him instead, around 20 rallies were set and their plan worked well, they filled and deployed the rallies very quickly and then sped them up. The timing and speed they were launched with took [N0X] by surprise and the Temple of Mother fell into [RRH] hands.

The same treatment was applied by [RRH] on Temple of the Warrior, they skipped the solo part through and went directly to rallies. [N0X] had little to no chance on holding against a big wave of rallies and the Temple of the Warrior fell into [RRH] hands too.

Meanwhile the [N0X] racers were on point for this fight and they managed to secure both Targaryen and Lannister ports with ROCK7 and ice bear. Then [N0X] proceeded to free ROCK7 for the Casterly Rock race and got VERGO in his place in Lannister Port while keeping ice bear in Targaryen Port. However with Lannister Port being so close to their base [RRH] launched continuous rallies every few seconds and despite VERGO holding strong and reinforcements from [N0X] being good, ultimately the extra strength of [RRH] was too much to handle and they took another building from [N0X].

Despite the setbacks, [N0X] didn't give up on the fight and once the Casterly Rock was about to open, Shado and all other [N0X] racers prepared to go for it and once it opened it was ROCK7 that managed to take 'it for [N0X]. Then [N0X] proceeded to swap ROCK7 with DYW and as all the other swaps it was successful. As soon as the swap was performed a wave of rallies and solos was set by [RRH] and due to their superior strength and the buffs they built upon [N0X] from having the other building they managed to take Casterly Rock too. At this point [N0X] seen there's no win to be taken from this fight and decided to stop conserve their resources until the mines open. While waiting for that they still went for [RRH] personal points to try and score as many points as they can. When mines opened it was RRH that took them both this time. [N0X] then decided to rally Targaryen Mine and the rallies were successful, Ser Enki managing to occupy the mine. [RRH] tried to solo but solos weren't enough, so they did a combo of rallies and solos and took the mine back with Daeneris and this concluded the first fight of this Alliance Conquest season.

Despite all their efforts [N0X] couldn't handle [RRH] it's the first time [N0X] starts the season with a loss, but maybe it will be also the first season when they qualify for Ultimate Conquest, we'll have to wait and see how the next rounds develop for them. See you on the battlefield!
