More benefits, more surprises
The seven kingdoms are home to many great factions contesting for power over their lands and the iron throne, but there is still peace around noble merchants and trading routes, many essential in the transportation of goods and armies around Westeros. Upon one scorching day, the lord IANQ travelled into high gardens, seeking valuables to trade with and maybe visiting some of the pure women in the high towers. Kings never use to leave empty handed and beautiful women were just part of the treasures, used as favors between alliances, some not wanting war and rather sell off their pride to protect their homes, but something was off about one merchant. Dressed in rags despite the piercing heat of the sun, with a scared face and deformed unhuman fingers, selling food on their stand seemed like a store front to a much more devious product. Sure there were underground groups which sold weapons and poisons to take down kings, but non of those would be stupid enough to set up a shop in such a bustling city IANQ thought
As he approached the stand, an aura of pure evil creeped from within, a crackling voice slowly emerged. "The names Cossomo" Upon a closer look seeing the burnt skin and clear physical deformity, was this man perhaps a survivor of a wildfire attack
though Cersi rules over the seven for a reason, every king underestimates women's power, and she was one who should be feared, her wildfire said to burn hotter and brighter then any dragons breathe, but noone would have lived to confirm that.
"What do you seek, money... women..? Power" as Cossomo pulled out a bottle from under his rags, IANQ guards swift unsheathed their swords and stood ahead of their lord in anticipation for an assassination, but IANQ was too curious
"Stand down" he yelled
The commotion had attracted the attention of many others in the area and the guards in Highgarden. If this Cossomo was able to set up a stand here in the merchants grounds then surely they have something to offer IANQ thought "Ahhhh, yes I thought you would say that" IANQ shocked as if his mind was read like a book "This can be yours, but I need something from you" Cossomo said Is this man dying? No matter, I knew that bottle of green fire had to be something, and I want it IANQ thought
I need one of these from the crystal mines up north beyond the walls. Beyond the walls would be suicide for any man in Westoros, but IANQ was different, being one of the few men to have the commander Nightking at their disposal, almost like taming a beast the Nightking is a formidable foe who commands legions of the undead, it would seem like gossip to a common man. "What is it you want" IANQ wonders "These stones are used to... violent coughing" This man will die soon, perhaps it is best to use him while he lasts IANQ remarks
So the travel up north to the walls began, receiving a map from this mysterious corpse, IANQ envied the fact they could not just steal the mysterious fire like substance in the bottle without any political conflict from starting such a rise in the Highgardens merchants field, no matter IANQ thought. suspicious may arise even amongst faction members bringing such an army up north, there will be plenty of speculation about their travels but this unfaced IANQ, what he saw seemed to luring him into the bidding of Cossomo, but regardless of what business they had with crystals up north, only time could tell if their story of trading value would hold up.
Solders marched with their lord with no thought as to why they're being lead to the walls, passing through The Twins, an infamous chock point for bandits, treading through Winterfell to restock their caravans full of supplies, and finally up to the nights watch. Seeming to hesitated to ask what the lord IANQ intentions so far north were, it seemed the lords name was known throughout the kingdom. As their armies marched through the passage created from the Nightkings invasion, the winds blow fierce and the cold temperatures dropped beyond what was previously experienced at Winterfell.
The mines cavern up ahead, the solders followed their lord without fear, the shelter would least provide insulation from the harsh winters outside, but they were not alone. Seeming to find another lords army harvesting the materials inside the mines, but no peace was promised here, and immediately they charged to the mines opened fighting off IANQ's army. This unknown force was commanded by OnkeIhotte, with their powerful Tier 5 troops to rival IANQ's army, their forces vast and both unknown the true scale of each others military forces.
As swords clashed the caves walls seemed to be cracking, the rumble of solders heavy armory would soon cause a cave in and kill both lords, was Onke here for the crystals? what did he know about them? was it a merchant looking for goods? did Cossomo send them here? IANQ could not ponder this long as the Nightking approached the fight.
With his arms rising up, soon the dead on the battlefield seemed to come back to life, swinging their weapons aimlessly but only directed at Onke's troops
"what is this terror" Onke as they stared into the fearless hordes of dead swarmed through their troops
Quickly being overrun, there was no excaping with the entrance to the caverns being sieged by IANQ's troops, their banners flighting high as IANQ watched down into the depths of Onke's remaining troops scream before their ends.
As the sounds of the dead slowly faded with their use fulfilled in the battle slowly falling back to their proper form, IANQ finally looked through at the riches being collected, searching through there were golden crystals, no way these are for merchant trading, IANQ couldn't imagine they are used to make whatever Cossomo taunted him with, but why would their be other lords here, perhaps this place held something richer inside?
