Lord Boness was eagerly awaiting the next battle in the Arena of Honor with his new team. The epic victory in the previous round was still being celebrated, and everyone was confident about another challenge.

But Lord Boness still had an extra ticket and decided to fight alone as a warm-up! He equipped himself with his armor, checked all the stats for better combat, and summoned his infantry in search of Glory.

Surprisingly, when he entered the battlefield, Lord Boness realized that he would be the leader of the team. Until then, he always preferred to act as support, and attack all targets in front. But he accepted the challenge willing to learn more details about the Arena mechanics. This event has been dynamic, and requires quick reactions, so his excitement grew enormously.

He greeted everyone in the chat room, and as expected in a random team, he heard the echo of his own voice! Lol He was still exasperated by so little interaction in these cases. In this match, he would defend House Greyjoy. He quickly observed the other houses, and noticed some known alliances, despite not knowing such warriors.

He would usually adopt a more conservative attitude, but based on what he had learned from his official team, he decided to take a little risk this time as well. Thus, he intended to strengthen his infantry through strongholds, but also build some trading posts.

When the match began, he filled the clan castle with his main line up, and watched the other players send reinforcements (at least that). Quickly, he sought to observe the enemy's strategies.

As he optimized the buildings, he gathered his troops, and sought to attack the altars. At the same time, he directed the attack on the Watchtower from the clan castle (not before spending a few seconds to figure out how to launch an attack from the Clan castle).

He became exasperated when he saw troops stationed in buildings that had already been completed, and tried to warn the players. In some cases, in vain. He realized that the absence of such players would soon cause harm to the team. Their score so far was low, placing them in 4th place. If it remained that way, the result would be catastrophic for their quest for the title of King.

The match was going on in a bloody manner. Countless waves collided, and the sound of steel against steel reverberated throughout the Arena. Dragons in the sky burned all the men to the ground. The screams of the warriors melting in their armor sent shivers down the spines of everyone who watched the scene.

House Targaryen was not well fortified, and their ally [Greyjoy] RReatalhador managed to take control of the enemy castle, which would guarantee some extra points. However, without many reinforcements, it was not possible to hold it for long.

The next focus was on the catapults, which would be essential to take over the City of Glory. However, these proved to be challenging. Lord Boness saw the Lannister Clan dominate them. He sought new sources of points. Mines, dragon pits and new altars. Luckily, he managed to later dominate one of the catapults. Even so, the enemy continued to have a large score advantage. Among his companions, Lord Shredder actively managed to take over several buildings.

Lord Boness sought to strike enemy altars, but in many cases failed miserably. With his Lord and main line up in the Clan castle, his second formation was not strong enough to fight against the many warriors that were on the map.

Everyone's attention turned to Glory City when the bubble collapsed.

I was already aware that it would be difficult to conquer it, and I wasn't sure if all the clan members would participate in a rally. At this point, I was unsure whether to maintain an aggressive strategy, or if it would be more sensible to guarantee points to at least reach 2nd or 3rd place. As expected, the Lannister faction took Glory City, and even after n attacks from everyone, they managed to maintain control until the bubble appeared.

Then it was up to him to look for all the alternative sources of points. Without the patience to send scouts to some altars, Lord Boness faced great losses when randomly attacking several targets, and searching for new sources of points in addition. Focused on the mine shaft, and requested reinforcements. But the enemies also tried to hit him. The fight for the altars also continued bloody.

At this moment, he was only concerned about at least not finishing in the last places and consequently losing points during his quest to achieve the title of King.

Then, in the darkest hour, hope arose again. Lord Shredder took over Glory City, and Lord Boness quickly sent reinforcements along with a few other teammates.

The tension reached its peak. If they managed to maintain the GC, the course of the match would be completely changed (obviously for the better). The points from all the other clans would be enough to put them on top. At that moment, the team was oscillating between third and fourth place!

Each enemy wave that hit the walls of the City of Glory reverberated in Lord Boness...

Would this warm-up match already be the early chance for another victory during this round? That's what he hoped for, but fate proved to be relentless.

A strong attack from House Lannister put an end to such a dream. Lord Ekin 06 managed to retake the GC using a slingshot.

The final minutes then became a desperate attempt for survival, and the match ended with House Greyjoy in fourth place.

Despite his placement, Lord Boness breathed a sigh of relief. He had earned enough coins to purchase additional items from the event shop, and had learned a lot about the dynamics of how to lead a match, and thoughts on how to overcome obstacles when they arose in battles with his official team.

It would now be time to regain his strength and prepare for the clash in the fourth round!
