Introduction

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the Player’s Handbook, where we go into great detail on the best ways to get the most value from each event. Today, we will be taking a look at Wisdom Well, which was recently introduced to replace Blessings of Triss. What is Wisdom Well? It gives legendary skills, artifacts and ability stone selection chests in exchange for divine coins. It is currently the only way to obtain legendary skills, as well as certain epic skills from the selection chests.

Now that all the initial bugs have been ironed out, we are able to provide a comprehensive guide on the event. Let us dive into the rewards, the drop rates of each item and the best packs to maximise their value.

Rewards

Wisdom Well is currently the only way to unlock these legendary skills. Before wishing, players are able to choose which legendary skill they would like to get. The ability stones drop 4 at a time, and are guaranteed to drop after a maximum of 40 attempts.

The ability stone selection chest is the one of the secondary rewards that can be obtained. It has many of the newest skills, some of which can currently only be obtained here. Skills such as Unforeseen Attack, Abundant Spirit and Assembly Charge can be obtained from the Legion of Frostborne shop, while Chaos Storm and Blood Frenzy have been on offer on Recharge Gift. Psionic Tide, Time to Shine and Corrosive Power can only be obtained from this chest, although there is a good chance that they will be available from Recharge Gift in the future.

Artifact Selection Chest is the other secondary reward that can be obtained. It has different chests for Holy and Shadow immortals, each of which contain the exclusive artifacts for all the immortals from that element. These give 15 chests every time they drop, unlike the ability stone selection chest which only drops one at a time.

Drop Rates

After collating the results of thousands of wishes, these are the rough drop rates for each of the rewards available. Based on these results, ability stone selection chests have a very low drop rate, and is not a viable way for most players to obtain skills. Legendary skills have a much better drop rate, and drop 4 ability stones every time, although their overall drop rates are slightly lower than Blessings of Triss in the past.

Best Packs

All prices are in USD, and do not include tax. Currently, Gtarcade provides the best value for money compared to their in game counterparts. They also give rebates in the form of coins which can be exchanged for other rewards. The above table is split into 3 categories; Green: the lower cost bundles, yellow: the mid-cost bundles, and red: the higher cost bundles.

Going for the cheaper green packs every week gives the most value, although it will take longer to collect coins. If you choose to purchase both the green and yellow packs, it still keeps costs from going too high while reducing the required time to collect enough coins to almost half.
