💠Introduction

What’s up, folks? With so many new recent events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happening, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Illusion Battlefield League

With only one week remaining in the tournament, let’s take a look at how we got to this point. After defeating PRD, AoW proceeded to eliminate PRD’s sister team BUNS to reach the semifinal. SSQ beat dark horse HMB en route to face AoW on the left side of the bracket. On the right, VEX got the free bye to the semifinal after eliminating their farm alliance WOLF and CUBS defeated both Server 170’s IMPK and SF to match VEX. Last week, AoW won with 100,000 points to SSQ’s 58,850 and grabbed a seat in the finals. CUBS upset VEX in a nail-biter game, winning with 97,850 points to VEX’s 77,900. CUBS will face off against AoW in their first finals match and SSQ will battle VEX for the third-place trophy. Should AoW win, they will have wiped out all three of Server 73’s alliances to take their second championship. If CUBS wins, it will be their first win for the server, and they defied all odds against all of Server 170’s and Server 38’s representatives who were all considered heavy contenders for the title.

💠Legion of Frostborne

There are just over ten days left in the second season of the beta version of KvK. The servers with the rights to enter Zone 3 to capture Ymir and the Citadels have largely been determined across every bracket. Servers 38 and 56 were both the favorites for their brackets. Servers 115, 139, and 170 banded together to lock out Servers 73, 193, and 209 from the center. Servers 105 and 205 combined their efforts to crush Server 231. The victors of the event, however, are still up for grabs in a couple of brackets. Since the victors are determined by whichever faction has the most reputation by the end of KvK, the event has devolved into a point-farming simulator with alliances creating tower hives and sieges for points. Servers 73 and 170 are still battling each other in the farming contest. 170 has a massive edge with the number of territories and gates they own so anything less than first place will be a disappointment. For alliance reputation, the difference between first, second, and third is a couple of thousand Cold Silver. Across the whole alliance, there can be an additional 150,000 to 300,000 more Cold Silver which is well worth the effort. For faction reputation, the winning faction will get the ability to open different Ancient Remnant Chests which contains various Holy and Shadow immortals. Winning without Ymir or any of the Citadels in itself isn’t worth much except bragging rights.

💠Discord Events

There are currently three concurrent events running on the Official Infinity Kingdom Discord. The Top Fan Event runs every month with the winner getting unique and exclusive in-game frames. All you have to do is participate in the chat and be one of the top message senders. With September ending soon, you should look forward to October’s event. Additionally, every week, there is a giveaway of 500 Gems. The event runs for two days and all players have to do is enter the giveaway and add their Lord ID to the bot. A winner will be randomly selected. The NFL Event is in full swing. Players are randomly distributed across the 32 NFL teams. For every game your team wins, you will get 100 Gems. Sometimes there are even random pop-up events on various topics. September’s pop-up event called for players to share their favorite childhood toys and their stories. The story and toy with the most likes at the end will receive various rewards like Space Portals or Gems. Grab your friends, join in on the festivities, and earn some free in-game items.

💠Summary

AoW played and dominated SSQ in the IBL semifinals to move onto the finals where they will play against CUBS. CUBS narrowly defeated VEX in their semifinals to nab a seat in the top two. SSQ and VEX will battle to decide the third-best team. LoF, brackets for all intents and purposes, are effectively all decided. There are minor faction and alliance reputation point-farming wars happening but nothing that will change which server will control the center. The IKDC is a great place to grab some Gems and in-game prizes by participating in various events.
