Introduction

Hello, Infinity Kingdom players! I’m Mael, Press Officer from Server 243, and today I’m excited to take you on a deep dive into one of the most thrilling aspects of the game: Chaos Immortals. These Immortals bring tremendous power and dominate the battlefield.

In this guide, I’ll provide you with comprehensive insights into the best strategies for acquiring, optimizing, and enhancing Chaos Immortals. We’ll also break down the Chaos Roulette event in fine detail, exploring the intricacies of drop rates, how to get the best value for your resources, and the steps needed to fully max out your Chaos Immortals.

Let’s dive into the chaos and prepare you for the ultimate conquest!

Acquiring Chaos Immortals

Chaos Immortal Overview and Tier Ranking

Currently, the Chaos Immortal lineup includes Loki, Wukong, Athena, Poseidon, Fu Fei, and Anubis, with each bringing their own unique strengths to the battlefield. However, not all Chaos Immortals are created equal, and in my opinion, some stand out more in competitive play.

  • Athena excels at dispelling negative effects for all friendly units, while also making them immune to serious wounding. Her ultimate is especially powerful, as it triggers a healing effect (80%) every time a physical skill is used, making her a strong defensive support in any lineup.
  • Fu Fei is the ultimate healer in the game, boasting incredible energy regeneration. Her healing is unparalleled, with her skill recovering 300% HP for all allied troops. Additionally, her ultimate grants a 100% chance of making allies immune to all control effects, making her a must-have in the current meta for sustaining your team.
  • Poseidon is an excellent physical damage dealer, delivering 400% damage to all enemies with a 50% chance to apply a “bite” debuff. This debuff inflicts an additional 240% physical damage every 3 seconds for 9 seconds. What's more, bitten targets cannot gain shields, which can cripple defensive strategies.
  • Wukong was less popular in the past but has become much stronger following recent buffs. He now deals 600% physical damage to all enemies and gains 3 stacks of Absolute Defense, making him immune to the next 3 incoming damage. If his troop count drops below 50%, his ultimate, Battle Authority, will increase his damage by 50% and extend his defense to protect an additional friendly unit with the highest troop loss.
  • Anubis, the latest addition to the Chaos squad, brings a unique mechanic to the table. Although I haven't fully tested him yet, I haven't ranked him very high. His ultimate, Deadly Sandstorm, converts his physical defense into physical attack and summons a sandstorm that increases damage taken by all enemies by 20%. Additionally, it applies a bleed effect that deals 150% physical damage every 3 seconds for 9 seconds.
  • Loki was the first immortal of the Chaos Element, and I absolutely love him. Though his popularity has waned due to more counters in the current meta, he remains a solid pick. If you’ve saved his shards from seasonal events, you could potentially have him at 4 stars without spending much. His ultimate, Realm of Lies, deals 450% magical damage to all enemies and has a 25% chance to confuse them for 6 seconds. If the target is suffering from bleed or tear, the confusion chance rises to 50%, making him a tricky and effective controller in certain setups.

The Role of Chaos in the Meta

Before the introduction of Chaos, the elemental hierarchy in Infinity Kingdom was relatively fixed. Holy consistently dominated Shadow, while Shadow had the upper hand over Water, Fire, Wind, Lightning, and Earth. This dynamic shaped much of the competitive gameplay, with Holy and Shadow teams dominating the battlefield.

However, the arrival of Chaos Immortals has disrupted this elemental balance. Unlike other elements, Chaos doesn't have any direct counters, making it highly versatile and dangerous in the right hands. Players must now rethink their strategies, particularly when building teams around or against Chaos Immortals.

Transitioning into the next section, we’ll explore how you can obtain Chaos Immortals and the best ways to maximize your chances of success.

Event Breakdown: Chaos Roulette

Event Mechanics and How to Participate

The Chaos Roulette is the primary means of obtaining these rare immortals. The event involves spinning a roulette wheel using Chaos Eyes, which can be purchased in packs or earned through specific in-game activities. Each spin offers the chance to win immortal shards, exclusive artifact fragments, or other valuable items.

  • How to Participate: Players need to accumulate Chaos Eyes either through purchasing in-game packs or by completing event tasks. Each spin costs a set number of Chaos Eyes, and higher-quality rewards can be obtained after multiple spins.

Strategic Considerations for Chaos Roulette

While Chaos Roulette is primarily a luck-based event, there are certain strategies players can use to maximize their chances of success:

  • Chaos Eyes Management: It’s crucial to prioritize your Chaos Eyes purchases, as the first few packs offer the best value. The cost-per-eyes increases significantly in later packs, so it’s often better to wait for the next event rather than overspend on high-cost packs.
  • Timing Spins: The roulette wheel refreshes every time you land on immortal shards, which means that carefully timing your spins across multiple events will give you better chances of maximizing rewards.

Transitioning from value packs, we now explore how to maximize your investment in Chaos Roulette.

Maximizing Your Investment in Chaos Roulette

Cost-Effective Pack Purchases

Based on historical data and player reports, the first three packs provide the best value, with Eyes costing $0.83 each. After these initial packs, the price jumps to $1.39 per Eyes, making further purchases less cost-effective. To avoid overspending:

  1. Buy the first three packs during each event cycle.
  2. Avoid the higher-cost packs, unless you’re very close to completing an immortal or artifact.

Transitioning into drop rates, understanding the odds can further enhance your strategy for collecting Chaos Immortals and their artifacts.

Understanding and Leveraging Drop Rates

Drop rates are a critical aspect of Chaos Roulette. While the game advertises a 4% drop rate for immortal shards, data gathered from thousands of spins suggests the actual rate is closer to 5.5% due to the roulette refresh mechanic.

  • Immortal Shards: When immortal shards drop, the roulette wheel refreshes, increasing the odds of obtaining more shards in subsequent spins. On average, players will receive about 0.39 shards per spin.
  • Exclusive Artefact Fragments: These fragments drop at the advertised 4% rate. However, unlike immortal shards, they don’t trigger a refresh, so the rate remains steady across spins. Players typically earn 0.17 fragments per spin.

Efficient Strategies for Maxing Chaos Immortals

Maxing out a Chaos Immortal can take several events, but careful planning can reduce the number of spins needed.

  • Spin 500 times per event to unlock bonus chests containing 80 shards. With this strategy, you can max a Chaos Immortal in 7 rounds of Chaos Roulette, or around 3,200 spins if lucky.
  • Avoid trying to max in a single event, as this requires roughly 4,600 spins and doesn’t take full advantage of the bonus chests on the right bar, making it far more costly.

Advanced Tips for Maxing Exclusive Artefacts

Maxing exclusive artifacts is a long-term investment due to their lower drop rates. Players aiming for a full five-star artifact will need to participate in multiple Chaos Roulette events:

⭐⭐⭐: Requires around 3,300 spins.

⭐⭐⭐⭐: Requires about 4,100 spins.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: Takes upwards of 6,000 spins.

Mael's Tips: Given the immense cost, it’s generally recommended to stop at three stars unless you’re fully committed to maxing both the immortal and artifact together.

Conclusion

Chaos Immortals have undeniably become the most influential forces in Infinity Kingdom, reshaping PvP landscape. Their immense power, coupled with their lack of direct elemental counters, makes them an essential part of any competitive player's strategy. However, unlocking their full potential requires a deep understanding of the Chaos Roulette event, efficient resource management, and careful long-term planning.

It’s important to note that maximizing Chaos Immortals and their exclusive artifacts is a very expensive endeavor. The sheer number of spins and resources required means that players need to be mindful of their investments. The costs can quickly add up, especially for those aiming to max both immortals and artifacts. That said, the rewards are immense, and for players who are prepared for the challenge, Chaos Immortals can elevate your performance on the battlefield to new heights.

Whether you’re aiming to max out the healing power of Fu Fei, the defensive prowess of Athena, or the offensive might of Wukong or Poseidon, patience and strategy are key. By utilizing the insights provided in this guide, you can make more informed decisions on how to optimize your Chaos Roulette spins, manage your resources, and prioritize pack purchases.

While the journey may be costly, the power and versatility of Chaos Immortals make them worth the investment for those serious about dominating in Infinity Kingdom.

Now that you’re equipped with the tools to navigate the chaos, it's time to put your strategies into action and rise to the top in Infinity Kingdom. Let the chaos begin!
