They FIGHT BACK now? | Invade k172 | EXc invades

Every invasion story starts the same. Hunter found a target. Who else could it be? While everyone else was enjoying their evening, eating dinner or killing rebels, Hunter was searching… always searching… 

And as usual he did find something, but not just anything, something big…

43 million troops, a 2.1 billion power target. And unlike usual, no bows. 

This helped Hunter get fillers a lot easier. First, he asked Mass Shadow, who, of course, said yes. He was always in for some fun, especially against such a target. Those two together then found Chai5 and a new member of EXc, FKS REVENGER. A group of four plus Hunters alt would be enough for sure.

Not knowing what was yet to come, they jumped. This was a bit more complicated because of AC registration, but nothing the experienced Hunters could not fix.

The first rally was started and filled. For EXc this was nothing special, they all had done this a dozen times before, but this time would be different…

It started when Mass saw a player jumping next to him and soon after, an attack!

Mass was zero castle, so he was not too worried about it just yet, but when the player started spam attacking, it started to be annoying.

The first rally on the original target was a big success, even though the formation was not perfect. Without synergy and with a messed up wall, there was no chance for godp.

With troops returning, Mass now had to be careful as there were stakes. After the troops had walked one-third of the way, he decided to speed back and join the new rally. But still, under spam attacks, he got unlucky. The one real attack WINDFORCE sent, between all the one-soldier marches, hit the troops while he was rejoining the rally. 

This was, of course, bad for Mass, but it was nothing he could not rebuild on. WINDFORCE went to chase Mass hiding marches, moving to faraway gathering nodes, but this time Mass sped his troops back and sent out again before WINDFORCE could hit him. 

Mass decided to skip the next rally to bubble and rebuild and meanwhile, his friends sent the new rally.

A big hit. godp, for sure, would not be the one to kill the majority of their troops.

Mass was still busy though and would only see the reports 5 minutes later, after he had bubbled, retrained troops and joined the next rally after. At that time WINDFORCE had found FKS and started spam attacks on him.

Another player joined the party. ATAKAMA from WTF started hitting unbubbled and joined Jps soon after.

Hunter got two more rallies on godp, while the fillers were under constant attacks. At some point FKS lost some troops, but nothing too big.

Soon, a third player from a third alliance tried to join, but he was not as lucky as the other two and he found a trap and his lord is gone for good.

EXc was still in danger though from the other players and more were to come…

For now, the target was done. In theory, the EXc players just had to hide their returning troops now and be done with it, but why should they have stopped?

Hunter was the first one to let the action go further, and it only took 10 seconds. As soon as his march was returning, ATAKAMA soloed once again, like they did 100 times before.

This time Hunter was ready though and he got a beautiful tank.

You may wonder why ATAKAMA did not lose his lord here. Then I got to tell you something: Changing lords is a very important thing when getting ready for battle, maybe the most important. And in their haste, it seemed like ATAKAMA had forgotten something…

A wrong lord! He was attacking without a lord the entire time.

But it would not stop there, no no, this was only the start.

Having watched all the fun, NO REAL jumped to the kingdom and he would now be the center of the action. In a spear set up, he garrisons Chai5, who had been the main target for the Jps players, again trying to snipe his troops coming back. And it was a lord dropped, the second one in this short invasion.

Next, he was able to bait ATAKAMA into soloing him, this time with Lord, and, well… let's say… the next solos would be without Lord again…

Lord number 3, check.

Another player had unbubbled, trying to help his allies. As a thank you from EXc, he got a PvP rally on him, which he decided to tank. He, for sure, did not lack bravery. Hunter was still in his inf formation, which worked perfect for Switek’s spears.

EXc got the win in the rally, but the kills were evenly spread, so Switek for sure was not too mad about it either. He did not try to tank another rally.

Concluding this short and fun trip, no one had expected to escalate that much, NO REAL did another garrison. Again on Chai5. Again, troops were returning. Again, on a F2P cav player.

Lord number 4, check.

This was very welcome, especially for Mass, FKS and Chai who were bothered by him for most of their time joining rallies. In a way it was the revenge they had wanted

Or at least what Chai and Mass had wanted… FKS was not satisfied and ported his main over. Without his lord, WINDFORCE was vulnerable. An opportunity Hunter and FKS were willing to take, even when it might cost a lot.

It took 5 solos, FIVE, until WINDFORCE was able to bubble and hide.

Most of k172 had stopped fighting back at this point. The only one not giving up was ATAKAMA. They had apparently forgotten they had lost their lord and went for a solo on FKS main. That again did not go so well

This final solo described quite well how the invasion went. Although k172, unlike many other kingdoms, did try to defend themselves, something that they need to get credited for, their defense lacked coordination being split across 3 alliances at times and with accounts that could easily fall into traps. A shared voice, where suspicious lines to zero castles could be announced, would have been helpful and maybe prevented them from losing 4 out of 5 lords in battle.

On EXc’s end, it was a great result, killing a lot more than even the original target had promised, while also giving them to play PvP after a long time of defenseless kingdoms. During Mass bubble time, he went and changed his hiding strategy to make it harder for opponents to intercept his troops. Something he promised himself to be using more often for now on. He had gotten arrogant over the time, something that this invasion had changed…
