The stony castle was still standing tall and proud as the sun rose high in the morning sky with the flags of House BaN waving to the wind. Lady Myriana allowed herself to be alone on the highest balcony of the keep, her sharp eyes examined the vast territory of their kingdom, K157.

Kingdom versus Kingdom events made her feel both happy and nervous, her heart raced as she thought of the upcoming event. This time they were facing their old friends and strong brothers UTB of K91 team. It was a match and the most crucial one at that and the strength of the bonds that were forged would be truly tested.

Myriana drew a deep breath and her grip on the icy parapet became tighter. She could not believe that she was involved in a car accident with such people, she whispered to herself, “Why did it have to be them?” The UTB had been steadfast partners, and their friendship was born out of numerous battles waged and many victories won collectively. But fate had changed and now they were enemies. As the ruler, she was aware that both forces were determined and had the intention to showcase their strength. As such, there was no option but to confront this squarely.

The start of KvK was quite uneventful; it was quiet for the first several hours of the operation. Both kingdoms were left to their own devices and began to plot in the background. It was the kind of silence that is usually observed just before the break of a war. Myriana took this time to consult with her closest council in order to come up with a solution that would respect the treaty and yet offer their warriors a worthy fight.

‘That is why we must give this match our best,’ she said with full confidence. Not only does UTB deserve that much, but BaN does as well. BaN immediately got to work on fortifying their castles on K157 and gaining the initial points and boosts. They accumulated resources in preparation for the conflict that was expected to happen soon. With each passing of the hour, the atmosphere in the room became tenser and tenser. The night was gradually awakening at the stroke of midnight. The warriors of BaN and UTB gathered for the rehearsal fight that quickly became a real fight.

Loliedd, one of the strongest warriors of BaN, was the first to attack King’s Landing. Myriana and the rest of BaN were waiting in the wings for her to make a move, expecting an assault from Scooberman, a UTB’s ace player and a strategic thinker.

“Stand still Loliedd,” Myriana whispered further as she clenched her fist on the handle of the sword she was holding. It became a fight of swords where the sound of the metal hitting metal was heard loud and clear. It was quite a nail-biting battle but Loliedd came out on top, a smile of victory on her face.

Subsequently, Mandy IV from UTB dared HeavensSake, a talented female artist from BaN. Myriana sat and watched as HeavensSake, and the rest of BaN fought to protect King’s Landing from the attacks of Mandy IV. HeavensSake’s arrows were accurate and, even though Mandy IV fiercely fought back, she was eventually killed. This was a lovely sight for Myriana to behold; HeavensSake standing erect, her armor shining in the evening sun.

“We have rehearsed for this,” she said to herself. “We are ready,” she said but in her heart she knew that the fight was not over yet. Thus, UTB was not an opponent that could be easily defeated.

Following closely was Hyber from BaN who went up against TinTin80 from UTB. Myriana could see that Hyber was ready to fight and was preparing his forces for an assault. “Let them see the strength that is in BaN,” she thought. Hyber’s strategic skill was unmatched and he was able to unseat TinTin80 from King’s Landing. The fights went on and on, and the level of intensity only increased with each battle. Myriana experienced all of it as if she personally fought in the battle.

Day after day, the two kingdoms fought at night with each battle being more vicious than the previous one. Nevertheless, K157 was vanquished by K91, no matter the strategies that they employed in the process. However, much like the saying goes, it is not the victory that is memorable but the journey; the same can be said for the KvK event. The warriors of BaN had demonstrated their capabilities and the friendship between UTB and BaN had further developed from the series of friendly battles.

After the fight, Myriana went to one of the hills, from which she could see the remnants of the fight. She had a sad mood, but she also had a feeling of satisfaction in her heart. “I think we stood our ground,” she remarked. “We respected the partnership and discovered who we are and what we can do. ” The friendship developed during the storm would not be easily washed away.

At that very moment, Myriana understood that BaN would come back from the ashes even more powerful, more cohesive than before. The KvK had stretched the capabilities of her warriors, shown them what they were capable of and strengthened the cohesion of her forces. This was not a fight between kingdoms but a fight for the survival and the self-esteem of both BaN and UTB. Myriana was filled with a sense of new purpose within her. With her lips curled in determination, she said to herself, ‘This is just the start of it…whatever happens next, we shall handle as a team.’
