Hi everyone, i’m PO PandaMoratia. In today’s article we will talk about The Deep Sea Eye Merchant.

Concept : 

The Merchant will appear every Saturday and will be there for 2 days, offering some good deals to players. Every time you buy an item, the price goes up.

Although there is a big variety of items offered, i only think Stardust and Crimson Moonlight are worth it, so i will mainly focus on these 2.

Value of the offer : 

To determine the value of each offer we need first to know the value of each single item we are interested in. The estimated value of 1 Stardust is 200 gems and Crimson Moonlight are 4 times more expensive which make it a 800 gems value.

So now that we have determined the value of each item proposed, we can start to evaluate the offers. And there are 2 ways to do so. 

-The first way is better for players who are a bit short on gems, and consist of simply looking at the gem cost of each offer individually. And just take the best deal that fits your possibilities. Which means you will stop buying Crimson Moonlight when it reaches 3600 gems the pack and Stardust when it reaches 1750 gems the pack.

-The second way is to look at the event as a whole and use an averaged cost estimation which will report early discounts toward more expensive further purchases. It’s like looking at the entire event as one single purchase for the value of the average.

With that way, we translate the transaction at one single purchase of 40 Crimson Moonlight for 810 gems the unit (10 gems above the estimated value, which for players who can afford Chaos Immortal should be neglectable) and 70 Stardust for 162 gems the unit, which is way below the 200 gems estimated per Stardust.

Conclusion : 

Both Crimson Moonlight and Stardust are hard to come by goods and this is in my opinion a pretty good deal to have them there. You should still be careful, you will end up spending 11340 gems per week in Stardust and 32400 gems in Crimson Moonlight if you are a high spender. That can be pretty hard to keep up spending, so choose wisely how much you want to invest in it. As usual for Low/Moderate spender, i would still value getting ViP15 and KvK skill unlock above it.
