Interview with PandaMora from #56 - Infinity Kingdom

Hello IK!

I hope everyone is ready and having a great day because today we have an interview with a unique player who has been able to reach the top rankings of multiple events despite being a low to middle spender!

PandaMora is an outstanding fighter in pvp, IB and knows how to use immortal skills more than most of the pro players I know.

The game has no secrets for that amazing player and I thought it’s a great opportunity to interview PandaMora so other players can learn from it, especially for low to mid spender looking to get more out of Infinity Kingdom.

**For how long have you played IK?**

886 days, above 2 years, i started on s35

**Do you use the training area often to test your immortals and skills?**

I used it a couple times to test game mechanic on skill, but i don't use it more than that.

I prefer live test in Arena.

**Do you play on a PC, phone or tablet?**

I play on PC.

**What’s your favorite event?**

That would be either IBL or ToS, i really enjoy both for the neutrality it provide. There is very few advantages spender have in IBL and none in ToS, we face on equal ground and upset can happen 🙂

**How do you use GTarcade app to help your progress?**

After a conversation in-game i found out not everyone knew about the GTArcade minigame getamon and what it can do for your IK account.

First thing IT ONLY WORK ON APPLICATION, not on the PC client. So you need your phone or an emulator like LDPlayer or Bluestacks.

First step is to open your GTArcade application. You have task to complete to get some pts, 3 daily and 1 weekly.

Then you have login reward, wheel to spin and sometimes Topic PK (always vote Yes no matter what) that give some more pts.

Second step is to open Getamon minigame, The main game itself give less pts, you can do it or not doesn't matter, Click on Monster paradise to open the window that bear interest.

There you have Monster&Monster mini game (the same kind as the windows mahjong that you cannot see if you have open getamon from the pc client, only from the application it will appear).

Finish it will give you 1K GTAPts and you can do it once per day.

Then i do Monster Match minigame that is a match 3 minigame for extra pts, it give less pts than Watermelon merge but also take way way less time to perform.

**Why going through all this trouble that can take 20 minutes of your time per day ?**

Because on the GTArcade application shop there is 2 packs very very interesting that give 50 wheel tickets and 500 crystal of Holy or Shadow dragon. Can only be purchased once per month for 30k pts each packs.

If you do like me all the step above everyday you should be able to buy both every month.

**How do manage to get premium spells as a low spender? (triss) I believe you said by only buying to lowest cost packs every triss event**

The way spending event work in IK is as follow. The cheapest is the pack the more value it have. If you look at Triss blessing as example, you will see that the highest ratio of coin/Euros(Dollars) is the cheapest pack.

So every time Triss blessing show up, buy as many of the cheapest pack as your monthly budget allow you to and stock the coin, don't use them. Once you have collected enough coin to wipe out the entire event (I believe it is around 150 but cannot recall for sure) then you go for your skill. Just toss 5 coins without exclusion until you get your skill shard then stop.

And you repeat the operation as often as needed to get all 60 shards. It will take you several month to get your skill, but you'll have it at the cheapest value possible. And with this method it is guaranteed that you'll have it since you can swipe the entire thing if needed.

Keep in mind that as you do this method you will also earn currency for the shop, when you have enough to buy 12 shards of the skill you want, buy it and it will reduce the amount of time you have to repeat the whole process to finish your skill.

It is all about setting a goal and a monthly budget to achieve it and then take the time to do so even if it take months or a year. Which is why it is so important to know were you are going with your marches, which immortal and skill you want.

**Best use for gems?**

For free player, increase VIP can be done at the same time as the monopoly event to get lot of dice.

If you spend and don't need to use gem to increase your VIP level. Then SvS chest for skill, there are exceptional game changing skill in there that player want to grab. If you are in an active good server and do well enough in Infernal Furnace to have lot of Gold at your disposal, it worth mention to spend a bit of gem daily on the Wishing Fountain to grab the 3 hours Dragon speedup.

**What would you like to see in the game in the future?**

I'd like to see more server versus server competition, like the new cross server spider should have been based on SvS competition instead of it's current format. Drive people to work together as a community and progress together sharing tricks and marches to use. Instead of promoting selfishness were player hide their march to stay high in the ladder. Because there is nothing to gain to have his server as a whole to do well in this event.

**Best life advice?**

Be patient, set a goal, take the time to reach it and repeat 🙂
