Some might know, some don’t, but there is a special day every month for me, and that day is KVK day, the oldest event of this game and my favorite.
For this KvK we had the most recent blessing and all the players were waiting to understand how this blessing would affect the gameplay.
In theory, with this blessing, every time you reinforce, attack or rally a great city you will not enter into fervor and as a consequence you keep your bubble, becoming immune to attacks from your opponents.
Knowing this new blessing, I was expecting less action then usual, but it wasn’t at all as i was expecting. More players kept their bubble during the day but also, players felt more safe to send their troops to great citys and that also opened the opportunity to test solo attacks on great cities.
Additionally, since I landed in a recent server, I was aiming to get a good rank and collect the unsulied medals. Stay with me and let me show you how this day was.
First action took place when one player from enemy server dropped his bubble by mistake, scouting a great city and luckily I was able to make two solo attacks.
As usual in KvK, I gather my best troops to fall into a trap, and without even checking what would be the best formation and troops to attack the enemy, I ended up lending my lord to an enemy player.
No report came from that moment of brightness but once I could attack again and since I was committed to get points for a good rank, I decided to change the approach and instead of sending spearmen I sent other troops to the same enemy.
Can’t say the result was perfect but at least this time I could read a report of it.
And since I could see the real stats of the enemy, after seeing he was focused on infantry troops once again I decided to attack, this time with Cavalry.
Well done by BlackStabath, he built enough T2 troops to be able to tank these 3 hits, and after this one he bubbled and got into a safe place.
After this I went to sleep but since we had this new KvK, I decided to put my troops inside castles while I was bubbled.
A new day and no time to waste, we still committed to make a good rank in this KvK, and for my luck we found a target in fervor and locked to change server so i decided to test one rally.
Next, I share some of my solo attacks on great cities:
After all, it was a more active KvK than I was expecting. The capacity of sending troops to great citys also allowed me to score points being offline risking only a part of my troops.
Here is the final ranking. And in the end, I think I can say it was a very fun KvK and the mission was accomplished!
