=============== Fourth Match of the Season ===============

Westeros endured one of its warmest summers yet, but the heat brought no peace to its Lords. Across the Seven Kingdoms, new events awaited, each promising fresh trials for those bold enough to face them. Far beyond the reaches of the North, the Hot Springs whispered their familiar call, drawing weary warriors toward their sweet waters.

The Lords understood the sign well. The time had come once again to march upon the fields of Winterfell. The gates of the Siege of Winterfell would soon open, and with them, a new match was declared.

It was already past mid season of SoW for [N0X] and their fourth battle of the season. By now Noxians knew overcome failure and washed in success. Whole alliance was in all arms waiting for ravens to reveal their oponent. Ravens brought interesting news that [N0X] were matched against [CRY], a very promising and known across Westeros for it's Merit Hunters alliance.

They are a close match to [N0X] with very little score difference, which should make an interesting match. Though Hunters usually are not an event players, which gives [N0X] a huge advantage from the start!

By now Noxian lords had a great experience in RTS battles - all the required preparations were made and every member got instructed what their goal is for this match is, as well as what team to follow and which shot caller to listen. It is not known to public, yet Noxian shot callers are one of the best across Westeros, especially the Supreme shot caller Belore.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Odds --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once the gates opened, snow and snowflakes made numbers in the sky:

-[N0X]: 91 warriors stayed grouped.

-[CRY]: 92 warriors starting with a slight disadvantage on points.

The coordination will show which alliance is truly deserves the victory.

[N0X] shot callers: Belore, Scythe, Waffles and Hotep prepared their sharp voices so they could cut the opponent plans straight away and gave few reminders. These are always helpful and easy to repeat - Move in groups!; Focus marches with Night King!; Stay in the damn circle!!; Last message was made by our heartwarming duchess Scythe, and if she says something - it is a command!

The horns blew. Winterfell trees has shivered and the season’s fourth battle has began.

---------------------------------------------------------------------- The First Captures -----------------------------------------------------------------------

While little Alex ran to the Hotspring with his slow spears, he had time to look around and estimate the opponent marches.

First fights were innitiated in Armory Noxians proclaiming their banners.

In comparison to Armory, Hot Springs looked very different and more massed. Yet [N0X] got first capture on it as well.

Few marches even managed to capture opponent Outpost while [CRY] let their guard down and concentrated their forces on Hotsprings.

Hotspring waters were overfilling with blood of the warriors from both sides, yet only one could walk out of there with victory and just so happened to be it was [N0X].

Time for Strongholds were about to open, that's a lto fo first capture points and in fat, Strongholds are the most valuable buildings on the map. [CRY] knew it well and they focused their marches on the Noxian side no less than on their own!

Stronghold 2 wasn't looking well. Yet Alex's and few other reinforecements arrived just in time to save the Stronghold and flip the score completely! Noxians knew their deal and targeted low health marches first to lower the chances of losing the buidling to [CRY] and captured the Stronghold.

Not everyone might've noticed, yet through a stoic voice of Belore, Alex heard his grand shot caller cracking a smile...

--------------------------------------------------------------------- The Final Countdown --------------------------------------------------------------------

The match pacing was fast. [CRY] had a lot of poorly coordinated attempts to capture a building - [N0X] reacted just in time to overcome and clear the pressure. With 20 minutes utill the end of the match, [N0X] was close to reaching 80k points, meanwhile [CRY] was abput to make 1 final step and reach 20k.

But the moment Noxians reached 80k, a magic happened!

[N0X] marches started dissapearing from the map. Anyone could've seen tens of light beams breaking into the sky, leaving every building, every dragon and the whole battlefield completely free for [CRY].

For a random eye it seemed as if [N0X] fled of the battlefield! Yet for most of the participants it was clear, that for whatever reason Noxians freed the buildings to [CRY] - it was for the best of both alliances. And it is known that nothing is better than a win-win situations!

So in the last minutes of the match a miracle did happen, and the result with what could be a crushing difference of 100k+ to 20k points - ended up with 89k to 61k, in favor of [N0X] claiming the third victory of the season!

Alex was incredibly happy of how well his alliance coordination was, and to tell a secret - it was one of the most exciting matches he experienced with [N0X]!

--------------------------------------------- Author’s Afterword ---------------------------------------------------

Through out the story you could've noticed that [N0X] had a higher pace and it felt as if they led the battlefield - it was not only due to the amazing shot calling Noxians has, but also a thanks to a high marching speed parameter that every army had.

Domination over your opponent is not the only choice to finish up the match with. Often you might find a cooperation a better option!

For [CRY] it was a defeat. Yet it was an incredible test. After all they are a newly merged yet quite promising alliance! Mostly [CRY] did very well, yet their experience was no match to the one [N0X] collected over the years. It was fair in numbers matchmaking, yet a pure test for a fresh alliance to compete with a very old one...
