💠Introduction

What’s up, folks? With so many new events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest, where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Table of Contents

  • Illusion Battlefield League
  • Legion of Frostborne
  • Wish Grail
  • Summary

💠Illusion Battlefield League

The final week of the IBL Points Phase has concluded, with the top 64 alliances advancing to the playoffs. The qualifiers are distributed sequentially across eight groups based on their final rankings: ranks 1–8 are placed into Groups 1–8 respectively, ranks 9–16 are again assigned across Groups 1–8, and the same pattern continues through all 64 teams. Once each group is populated with eight alliances, the individual matchups within those groups are randomized, creating the playoff bracket.

  1. In Group 1, the favorites are likely SJ and BUNS.
  2. In Group 2, AoW will likely take gold while silver will be a tossup between the remaining teams.
  3. In Group 3, RiP and MDS should take gold and silver, respectively.
  4. In Group 4, ARC and HK are the favorites to win the two Top 16 spots.
  5. In Group 5, HVN and O66 should be able to take gold and silver in some order.
  6. In Group 6, HOT and ToW should win gold and silver, respectively.
  7. In Group 7, both Top 16 spots will likely be taken by Server 38 as they generally like to hog some of the spots with their farm alliances in SPS and Ascendants of Asgard.
  8. In Group 8, CN and DH should be the favorites to win gold and silver, respectively.

💠Legion of Frostborne

All but one KvK bracket has now concluded, with the final bracket expected to finish this week. Its delay stems from no faction being able to reach or capture Ymir, preventing the usual conclusion. Elsewhere, the winners have largely been expected, as the factions that ultimately prevailed were the same ones that had already established superiority during the battles for the Zone 2 regions.

  • In Region 47, Server 136’s AWG from Zephyr took Ymir and a citadel while the other two citadels went to M022’s LAST and 56’s HMB2.
  • In Region 48, Server 38’s AoW from Zephyr ended the season a couple of days early with Ymir and a citadel after failing Ymir and expending more altars than necessary. The other two citadels went to 231’s CN and 145’s Midnight Sun.
  • In Region 49, only Zephyr took cities in their starting zone. The rest of the factions weren’t strong enough to occupy their cities.
  • In Region 50, Server 137’s GON took Ymir and a citadel.

💠Theia’s Roulette

Theia’s Roulette is currently one of the strongest events for players specifically targeting Holy Crystals. The best-value GTArcade packs cost $5 for 10 tickets, $10 for 20, and $20 for 40, all working out to $0.50 per roll. Each spin has five separate 1.04% slots that award 45 Holy Crystals, giving a combined 5.2% chance at 45 crystals, while the main prize is 350 Holy Crystals at a 3% rate. If the 350-crystal reward is not pulled naturally, it is guaranteed by the 25th roll, and pulling it early resets the pity counter. Because of that short pity cycle, the 350-crystal reward alone contributes about 19.70 Holy Crystals per roll on average, while the 45-crystal slots add another 2.34, bringing the total expected value to roughly 22.04 Holy Crystals per ticket. At $0.50 per roll, that works out to about $0.0227 per Holy Crystal, or roughly $2.27 per 100 crystals. If players buy all of the worthwhile GTArcade packs each week, they can spend $310 for 620 rolls, which should average around 13,664 Holy Crystals. The combination of a relatively high jackpot rate, a short 25-roll pity, and consistent 45-crystal side rewards makes Theia’s Roulette a very efficient option for players who want to build up Holy Crystals quickly.

💠Summary

IBL’s Points Phase concluded with the top 64 alliances advancing into eight playoff groups. Most KvK brackets have wrapped up with the expected winners after Zone 2 largely decided the season. Theia’s Roulette remains one of the best ways to obtain Holy Crystals, averaging about 22 crystals per roll.
