Gnome glitch

Anyone else experiencing a gnome glitch that makes them immortal?

I can defeat the bosses but every day after I defeat one or two gnome armies they become immune to attack.

Tried lowering the level, changing my line up.

Nothing works.

Makes growing impossible.
