💠Illusion Battlefield League
The second week of the IBL Top 16 Duels has concluded, leaving just four alliances remaining. Notably, the field is evenly split between two dominant servers, with two alliances from Server 38 and two from Server 209. Each server occupies one side of the bracket, meaning the upcoming matchups will be intra-server battles. As a result, both sides will cannibalize their own, guaranteeing a Server 38 vs Server 209 showdown in the grand finals.
- Server 209’s HK upset Server 38’s Ascendants of Asgard
- Server 209’s O66 defeated Server 231’s IMPK
- Server 38’s SPS beat Server 73’s ARC
- Server 38’s AoW defeated Server 344’s HOT

💠Throne of the Supreme
The Group Elimination stage of Throne of the Supreme is wrapping up, and the new format has significantly raised the level of competition. With 256 players advancing from the Points Stage instead of 128, the number of groups has doubled, but only two players per group now advance instead of four, effectively cutting advancement odds in half. This spreads top players more evenly across brackets, reducing the chance of “easy groups” and making it much harder for weaker or lower-spending players to sneak through. As a result, most of those players are being eliminated at this stage, while the strongest competitors consistently secure advancement and concentrate the highest-tier rewards among themselves.

💠Patch 2.7.4 Notes
Patch 2.9.4, releasing April 9, is a relatively minor update focused on quality-of-life improvements and targeted balance changes rather than major new content. The biggest addition is a new feature that allows players to easily track total resources and speedups, improving planning for upgrades like Level 60 Academy tech. Athena receives a rework that replaces her initial 200 Energy with teamwide immunity to Serious Wound effects, making her a strong counter to Qin and Khan but slowing her ultimate timing, while the new Legendary Skill Arcane Hunter boosts Apollo significantly with added survivability, AoE damage, and a 30% Crit Rate synergy with Light Blessing. Overall, the patch benefits most players through better usability, strengthens Athena as a utility pick, and improves Apollo’s viability without significantly changing the current meta.

💠Summary
The IBL playoffs are down to four alliances from Servers 38 and 209, guaranteeing a cross-server final. Throne of the Supreme’s new format has made progression much harder, favoring top players. Patch 2.9.4 adds QoL improvements, reworks Athena, and buffs Apollo without major meta shifts.
