What’s up, folks? With so many new events and patches, coupled with lots of community chatter, it’s sometimes difficult to keep up. Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest, where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Illusion Battlefield League

The second week of playoffs wrapped up with very few upsets. The competitive rounds won’t start until the finals of the Gold side of the bracket. Winning this week meant those on the winners’ side of the bracket got a week off while teams on the losers’ side of the bracket will play to await their next challenger.

On the left side, Server 38’s Ascendants of Asgard and Server 231’s IMPK defeated Server 143’s XGV and Server 432’s TT. On the right side, Server 456’s CE and Server 329’s KFC defeated Server 346’s DYN and Server 463’s CLN, respectively.
On the left side, Server 441’s DAM and Server 38’s AoW beat Server 417’s MAD and Server 56’s HMB. On the right side, Server 292’s Mbl and Server 38’s SPS defeated Server M016’s ICE, respectively.
On the left side, Server 70’s GOD and Server 73’s ARC beat Server 429’s BAD and Server M005’s JLA. On the right side, Server 447’s OG and Server 303’s WOLF beat Server 302’s MAD and Server 418’s RO, respectively.

💠Patch 2.9.3 Notes

Patch 2.9.3 releases Thursday, March 12 and focuses entirely on quality of life improvements rather than introducing new gameplay systems. The update includes buffs to every dragon to improve their overall usefulness, along with a skill rework for Atalanta to address her low usage and performance, and her exclusive artifact effect will also be changed as part of the adjustment. In addition, Rune Factory rewards are being expanded, with Legendary Immortal fragments and exclusive artifacts added to the shop, giving players more valuable options to spend their currency on.

💠GTArcade Points Packs Update

The GTArcade Points Shop received a major overhaul this week with several new free rewards and point-based bundles. Players can now claim four free gifts, including a one-time account reward, a daily gift with 40 Gems, a weekly gift with 100 Gems, and a monthly gift with 500 Gems. In addition to the free rewards, the shop now offers multiple packs that can be purchased with points, such as a daily pack for 1,000 points that gives 400 Gems, a weekly pack for 5,000 points that gives 500 Gems, and a monthly pack for 10,000 points that gives 1,000 Gems. Higher tier options were also added, including packs that grant thousands of Gems, Equipment Forging Stone chests, Crimson Moonlight, and even a temporary teleport animation cosmetic. Since players can earn roughly 1,500 points per day for free through daily activities and Getamon, the revamp gives players a consistent way to convert regular gameplay into additional resources and rewards.

💠Summary

Winners of the second week of playoffs earned themselves a break from the tournament and can play regular IB this weekend. Patch 2.9.3 focuses on quality of life updates, including dragon buffs. The GTArcade Points Shop was also revamped with new free Gem rewards and point bundles that let players exchange points for resources and cosmetics.
