Today, we’re breaking down two titans of the battlefield: the relentless Genghis Khan and the tactical Qin Emperor. While both bring immense value to a composition, they serve vastly different roles on the field.

Who are they?
Genghis Khan: The Physical Powerhouse
Genghis Khan is the definition of a "glass cannon" with a heavy emphasis on raw, physical destruction. Looking at the data, his Physical Attack sits at a staggering 14,511.7, nearly doubling that of Qin Emperor. This makes him one of the premier damage dealers in the game, especially when paired with his Critical Hit stat of 4,256.4.
His primary skill, Arrow Storm, is a nightmare for sustain-heavy teams. It inflicts physical damage at a rate of 500% to all enemy units. More importantly, it applies the Wound debuff for 10 seconds, completely preventing enemies from being healed. When equipped with his Artifact, Arrow Storm deals an additional 30% increased damage, ensuring that once the Khan starts firing, the enemy front line begins to crumble rapidly.
Qin Emperor: The Tactical Support
If Genghis Khan is the broadsword, Qin Emperor is the strategist holding the shield and pacing the rhythm of the battle. His raw offensive stats are lower, but he excels in utility and survivability. With a Magic Defense of 7,967.0 and a superior Energy Regen of 146.0, Qin is designed to survive long enough to cycle his abilities frequently.
Qin’s utility shines through his ability to increase the Attack Speed of all units by 25% for 8 seconds. This buff is universal, meaning it benefits every Immortal in your march, allowing your entire team to trigger their procs and normal attacks significantly faster.

Which One Should You Build?
The Case for Genghis Khan:
If you are running a Thunder or Earth-based march, Genghis Khan is almost mandatory. His synergy with the Immortals is unmatched, especially with the raw damage being buffed by the thunder and the earth dragons. He is the king of "Burst" damage. If your goal is to end the fight before the enemy can react, Khan is your man.
The Case for Qin Emperor:
Qin belongs in marches that rely on high-frequency skill activation. Because his Energy Regen is so much higher (146.0 vs Khan's 85.9), he will cast his buffs much sooner and more often. He is a defensive anchor who makes everyone around him better. If you find your march is dying too quickly to magic damage or if your other Immortals have powerful passive abilities that trigger on "Attack Speed," Qin is the superior choice.
Who is easier to max and use?
When you compare Khan and Qin, a much clearer picture of the game’s "cost vs. value" economy emerges. If your primary goal is to secure the Wound status (preventing enemy healing), Qin Emperor is an incredibly efficient choice that won't disappoint you.
Accessibility and Drop Rates
The math behind obtaining these two Immortals is vastly different, and the odds heavily favor the patient F2P player looking for Qin:
- Qin Emperor: He is far more accessible through standard summons. You have a 0.09% chance to pull a full Immortal and a much more generous 8.33% chance to pull either 5 or 10 fragments. This makes his progression steady and predictable.
- Genghis Khan: As a premium unit, Khan is a much harder climb. His fragment drop rate is a restrictive 1.85% for 5 or 10 fragments. This lower probability, combined with his absence from common free summoning pools, makes him a "pain" to develop without direct spending.
Soul Stones vs. Wallet
Beyond the drop rates, the acquisition method defines their roles in your roster:
- The Qin Advantage: Qin is entirely achievable through Soul Stones in the Marketplace. This allows any player to max him out over time simply by playing the game and managing their resources wisely.
- The Khan Barrier: Khan demands a high level of competitiveness. To make him viable, you often have to place high in specific events or purchase premium packs or use your gems.
While Qin is a "marathon" Immortal you can earn, Khan is a "sprint" Immortal that requires immediate and ongoing investment.
Estimated Total Spend to get a max Khan
There are two main ways to approach this:
- The "Slow Burn" (Efficiency): If you only buy the $0.99 and $4.99 packs (Soul crest or Golden Path) whenever they appear in the rotation, you spend significantly less per shard, but it could take 6 to 12 months to max him.
- Estimated Cost: $300 – $500
- The "Fast Track" (Immediate Max): If you buy through all tiers to the $99.99 packs during a single event or rotation to get him to 7 stars immediately.
- Estimated Cost: $800 – $1,200
- The Market Strategy: Once you unlock Khan, his shards can appear in the Marketplace for Gems. Relying solely on Gems would require nearly 100,000 Gems, which is often more expensive than buying the bundles directly.
- Universal Shards: You can use "Epic/Gold Universal Shards" to supplement his growth.
- Artifact Cost: A "Max" Khan also needs his Exclusive Artifact. To get a high-quality Gold Artifact for him, you may need to spend an additional $100 - $200 on artifact-specific bundles or materials (Fast Track). The Slow Burn would be to get artifact fragments from events such as Mercantile Path, Arms Race, Contention of Lords and many other ways.
Reports show that at a mid-range setup Qin and Khan can go head-to-head while as the player goes higher in skills (legendary skills) or troop quality (T9) or choice of specialization then the differences become significant.

Final Verdict
Genghis Khan wins on pure lethality and the ability to shut down healers. However, Qin Emperor offers a level of team-wide utility and energy efficiency that can turn a mediocre march into a well-oiled machine. Both are good from Early game to late game.
