KAC vs HD! | Ultimate Conquest | Round 3 |

HOH's run came to an abrupt end in the third round of Ultimate Conquest after a competitive match against FDH, in which the rival alliance managed to snatch victory by a few points at the end of a match that saw them start with the advantage of the odds.

Neik and his ally Ferrious, despite their alliance being effectively eliminated from the tournament, decided to watch the battles between the best factions of the seven kingdoms, who would fight to the death to determine who would claim the throne.

Today, as we arrived to watch what was sure to be an exciting battle, lined up on the battlefield were...

The group, renowned for the strength of its individual fighters such as BlackBear, MatJenin, and MUSAdra 999, was a difficult opponent to face, as it had members who could literally drag their teammates to victory.

But today, they would face...

On one side was the brute force of individuals, while on the other side of the battlefield stood HD! Stunnz, Arthurion, and Shrike were just some of the names that struck fear into the hearts of anyone who had to face them head-on. The group was renowned for its organization and strategy.

“In short, the two alliances are complete opposites,” commented Neik to his ally.

“That's true, I'm really curious to see if the cunning and strategy of HD!'s leadership will be able to come up with an effective plan to contain the fearsome fighters in KAC,” replied Ferrious, who was also unsure which group would manage to snatch the pass to the fourth round of the competition.

The tension among the fighters was palpable. Busy with their final preparations for the imminent start of the battle, they knew they would have to give their all, as defeat would mean elimination. The sky was gray, and the gloomy winter air was making its bitter cold felt on the warriors lined up on the snow of the arena. Everything was ready!

The battle began with an overwhelming advantage for... HD!

The racers in the group were the first to reach all four available buildings, leaving Blackbear and his companions empty-handed!

There was no time to celebrate, as the leading alliance had to secure their buildings by swapping them as soon as possible, as rival attacks would soon follow. The first target was Warrior, where Stunnze successfully took over the defense with his sure hands.

The second building was Mother, but it failed! GodSon waited for the right moment and when it came, he seized it without much ado, obtaining the first building for KAC!

However, it was HD that unexpectedly decided to launch the first offensive! The leadership, intent on bringing the score back to four buildings to zero, targeted Mother, which had previously been lost following the failed swap.

When the assaults reached their destination... they were successful! GodSon's defenses crumbled under the incredibly effective blows of HD!'s rallyleaders. It was a good blow struck by Stunnz and his companions.

But KAC's response was certainly not long in coming... 

Aware that they were at a disadvantage, the members of the alliance launched an attack on Warrior before the imminent opening of the ports in an attempt to snatch the buff it guaranteed to their HD! rivals. However, the attack did not have the desired effect. Stunnz, defending the position, was excellently supported by his companions and managed to repel every last of the fierce attacks.

“The situation is going very well for HD!. I see KAC in serious difficulty in organizing offensives with good timing,” said Neik. The first phase of the battle was going exactly as planned, with organization on one side and the brute force of individuals on the other, which, however, had been anything but effective so far.

When the ports opened...

The script of the match did not change!

The HD! racers were once again the fastest, burning their rivals who were left empty-handed once again. The advantage was starting to become significant for them.

A surprise move came from Blackbear and his teammates later on!

When everyone was expecting a siege in one of the ports, the alliance decided to try their luck by striking quickly and hard at the nearby Targaryen Outpost, where Virgilly was deployed in defense. However, the HD! member was not caught off guard and, thanks to the arrival of support troops, managed to withstand the unexpected assault!

“I didn't expect such dominance from them,” said Neik, addressing his ally, who replied, “I expected the KAC members to be a little more organized. Their attacks were unsynchronized, giving their rivals all the time they needed to prepare and continue to maintain their concentration.” The match was going very well for HD! Even subsequent attempts were ineffective, and with the imminent opening of Casterly Rock, it could almost irreparably tip the scales for KAC, who saw their dream of reaching the fourth round of Ultimate Conquest slip away minute by minute.

When CR became available...

Once again, it was a member of HD! who reached the walls first!

InvalidParam secured the castle for his faction, once again demonstrating the gaps in the ranks of his opponents, who were unable to keep up with their racers!

Just when everything seemed to be going smoothly, however... there was a twist!

The perfect game played by the members of HD! came to a halt during an attempted swap in Casterly Rock, where one of the most formidable members of KAC, Musadra999, swooped in like lightning and took possession of the most important building in the match!

“This was not what they needed,” said Neik. The fall of Casterly Rock and its passage into the hands of one of their strongest rivals could negatively affect the outcome of the battle. HD! would have a lot of work to do to regain possession.

Seizing the moment, KAC's leadership ordered a new wave of attacks on Targaryen Outpost. If they managed to conquer it, they could undoubtedly turn the tide of a match that had seen them overwhelmingly behind despite their capture of CR.

However, Stunnz and his companions were once again prepared. The defense held firm, keeping their cool, knowing they had a big advantage and that their rivals would inevitably have to reveal themselves.

Following the successful defense, HD!'s leadership unexpectedly launched an assault on Casterly Rock! If they were to recapture it, it would undoubtedly be a heavy blow for the KAC members, who would find themselves without any buildings in their hands. They had to do everything possible to maintain their conquest!

When the rallies reached their destination... they were victorious! MUSAdra999's defense, although rock-solid, ended up collapsing under the relentless blows of Arthurion and his HD! comrades, who also recaptured CR!

This was immediately followed by a new swap attempt on their part to shore up their defense and entrust it to NEO, an attempt that was successful this time despite their rivals' attempts to intercept it. 

Even when the strongholds opened, they were conquered once again by HD! racers. It seemed like it was definitely not KAC's day.

But the alliance leadership did not want to give up without fighting to the end...

The relentless attacks carried out by individual members such as MatJenin were ultimately successful in Lannister Port, which managed to conquer it, giving their alliance a glimmer of hope. The reinforcements sent relentlessly by the members of HD! faltered this time.

“I doubt this is good news for them,” said Neik. “It's true, having one of their strongest members stuck defending the port, even though it at least earns points for their group, means losing one of the most lethal offensive forces available to besiege Casterly Rock,” added Ferrious.

Once again, however, it was the leadership of HD! that amazed everyone...!

As soon as it was possible to attack the Port, it was immediately targeted by their rallyleaders, who managed to snatch it from their rivals.

The strategy was to settle the score mathematically right away, without leaving their rivals even a shred of hope, and drag the match out to the mines.

This decision proved to be the winning plan for HD!

An almost unexpected domination for many of the spectators who watched a one-sided match where the strategic moves and organization brought by the Stunnz alliance were overwhelming against rivals such as Blackbear and his teammates, who were unable to compete throughout the match until HD! secured a mathematical victory, which meant elimination from Ultimate Conquest for KAC.

The best fighters of the match were Fe4rLess for HD! and MUSAdra999 for KAC.

The KAC member managed to take first place in the match eliminations thanks to his assaults on rival buildings and his extraordinary strength, which managed to rekindle hope among his team, thanks also to the temporary capture of Casterly Rock, but it was not enough for them. The HD! fighter, on the other hand, when the base bubbles fell, set out to make life difficult for many of his rivals with his ruthless attacks, which were terribly effective, guaranteeing him the top spot in his faction's eliminations.

“I didn't expect such a victory from them,” commented Neik alongside his ally during the winners' final celebrations. The HOH member knew about HD!'s fighting abilities, but not that they would be enough to end a match against KAC in such a crushing manner.

“The balance of power in Westeros is shifting. They are now among the groups to watch in the final stages,” Ferrious replied with a hint of bitterness in his tone, due to their recent elimination from the tournament. Once upon a time, their group was the one that managed to keep pace with the best alliances in the kingdom. 

However, the battles of the third round certainly did not end there!

There was still an important clash between two top-level alliances to be fought in a few hours, both eager to reach the fourth round. Which ones? We'll find out soon!
