Welcome to my weekly edition of Player’s Digest, where I’ll take a look at some of the recent happenings, summarize them in a digestible way, provide some context and thoughts, and help readers keep up with all things related to Infinity Kingdom.

💠Illusion Battlefield

Since the Illusion Battlefield cycle restarted, alliances have continued to compete in regular IB, offering a more relaxed format compared to the league. Matches still use each player’s personal marches, skills, and academy progress, leading to slower rotations and more attrition-focused play, but the core objectives and scoring systems remain familiar.

Server 38’s AoW defeated Server 73’s ARC for the second straight week, cementing their advantage in the matchup.
Server 136’s MIAU won their civil war against sister alliance SKY.
Server 231’s IMPK secured another victory, this time over Server 56’s HMB.
Server 277’s WIB came out ahead of Server 275’s TNG.

With IBL beginning soon, many of the top alliances will be unavailable for regular IB. This opens the door for developing teams, especially those not participating in the league, to find more favorable matchups and gain momentum during the offseason window.

💠Illusion Battlefield League

he new season of Illusion Battlefield League begins this weekend. Unlike regular IB, players do not receive buffs from academy research, alliance technology, talents, or castle skins. Instead, every participant constructs their marches from the same limited pool of immortals and skills, creating a more controlled and balanced competitive environment. Relocations are noticeably faster, and forts fall after three attacks rather than two. This season opens with several matchups featuring alliances from newer servers.

Server 73’s ARC faces Server 349’s Rex at 14 UTC.
Server 292’s Mbl goes up against Server 402’s RO at 14 UTC.
Server 339’s DN will meet Server 344’s HOT at 14 UTC.
Server 331’s TWS battles Server 392’s Hk at 20 UTC.
Server 417’s UC will take on Server 431’s TEC at 20 UTC.

The early weeks of IBL are typically lopsided as rankings stabilize and teams settle into their tiers. As the field narrows, weaker alliances gradually drop out of the top 64 while dark horses emerge in the top 10 alongside the established powerhouses.

💠Legion of Frostborne

The first Legendary Season of Legion of Frostborne began this week, bringing new structure to KvK. Alliances from the same server can now be placed into different brackets, and each alliance effectively functions as its own independent server for the duration of the season. Players also enter with newly assigned roles that shape coordination and strategy.

In Region 1, Server 136’s MIAU and SKY, along with Server 231’s IMPK, entered Hydro, Terra, and Zephyr and allied against Server 73’s ARC in Ember.
In Region 2, Server 16’s NG+ from Terra will face Server 38’s Ascendants of Asgard in Hydro.
In Region 3, Server 56’s HMB from Hydro has an easy matchup lined up against Server 70’s GOD in Ember.
In Region 4, Server 38’s AoW from Hydro will share a friendly KvK and split the map with Server 209’s HK from Zephyr.
In Region 7, Server 73’s BUNS in Hydro will take on Server 115’s DH from Terra.

The launch of this Legendary Season introduces new dynamics, redistributes alliances across brackets, and sets the stage for fresh rivalries as KvK unfolds.

Regular IB saw several decisive match outcomes and now offers easier opportunities for younger alliances as top teams pivot toward IBL. The new Illusion Battlefield League season begins with balanced, tech-free competition and the usual early mismatches as rankings settle. The first Legendary Frostborne season also kicked off, placing alliances into separate brackets and producing regions with clear favorites or cooperative arrangements.
