🌃 Fake suicide, fraudulent scene, the fatality it deemed 🌃

📕Story Background
It was a quiet morning when police officer Bolt received an urgent call — the millionaire Mr. Gales had been found dead in his study.
When Bolt arrived, the room smelled faintly of gunpowder. Gales was lying in his chair, his head slumped to one side, a pistol still gripped in his right hand. Blood had pooled on the carpet beneath him.
On the desk beside him lay a business proposal, a suicide note, and an electric fan.
In the note, Gales wrote that his company had fallen into ruin and that he could no longer endure the humiliation of failure. At first glance, everything pointed to suicide — a desperate businessman unable to face bankruptcy.
Everyone in town accepted that story easily. Everyone except Bolt. As an officer who’d known Gales personally, he felt something was off. Gales had always been a fighter, not the sort to surrender easily. So Bolt began to carefully examine every detail of the room.
That’s when he noticed something peculiar — the fan’s power cord was unplugged, and the plug was pinned beneath the corpse. He frowned. “That’s strange… it couldn’t have just slipped out,” he thought. He crouched down, carefully pulled the plug free, and reinserted it into the wall socket. The fan immediately began to spin, bringing winds and they can feel the palpable air flow.
Bolt froze for a moment — then his expression hardened.
“No. This wasn’t suicide,” he muttered. “This was murder.”
Do you know why Officer Bolt said it was a murder, not suicide? Any crucial clue in there?
(This story is absolutely fictional. Any inconsistencies with common sense work for the plot)

Correct Answer: House was silent when power back
If the lights had truly gone out while they were watching TV, then when Ross flipped the power back on, the television should have resumed broadcasting sound.
But the house was completely silent. This contradiction proved Harry’s story was fabricated — the power outage was staged to make the murder look like an intrusion in the dark.
