In Infinity Kingdom, not every Immortal is meant to shine by dealing massive damage. Some stand out by making the rest of your lineup stronger, faster, and more coordinated. That’s exactly what Qin Emperor brings to the table.

He’s one of the few support Immortals who isn’t based on healing or control, but on tempo and disruption. You can slot him into several team types, from budget-friendly starter setups to high-end hybrid compositions, and always feel his impact.

This article explores Qin from every angle: who he is, how he works, and why so many players across all stages of the game rely on him for results.

Mael’s Opinion: Qin is not a flashy hero. He’s a backbone. I’ve used him in Fire, Wind, and Earth comps, and he never feels like a placeholder. He adds value. For any F2P or smart spender, he’s gold.

Qin Shi Huang wasn’t just the first emperor of a unified China — he was a reformer, a warrior, and a ruler who reshaped history. In Infinity Kingdom, that legacy comes through in his playstyle. He doesn’t lead from the frontlines but reshapes the outcome from the background.

Qin is a Wind-element ranged support who enhances your team’s auto-attack synergy while blocking enemy healing. Despite not being a damage-dealer, he can flip battles through smart positioning and timing.

Mael’s Opinion: I love how his game identity reflects his historical one, powerful without being loud. You don’t see Qin killing enemies. You see your enemies crumble faster when he’s on the field.

3. What Sets Qin Apart in Infinity Kingdom

At a glance, Qin might look like a basic support unit. But his kit combines disruption, tempo buffing, and auto-attack enhancement, a rare combo in a single Immortal.

His ability to apply Wound to the entire enemy team makes him lethal against healing comps, like Holy or Earth or Chaos. At the same time, he grants attack speed boosts to your entire team and enables Cleave for Wind allies, which multiplies AoE pressure.

And the best part? He’s easy to obtain and upgrade. You can get Qin shards and his artifact from multiple sources, especially with soul crystals in the market (so 100% free), making him one of the most reliable long-term investments in the game.

Mael’s Opinion: If you’ve ever been frustrated fighting against Zenobia or Theodora healing loops, double tanks team... just bring Qin. His Wound will force your opponents to rethink everything.

4. Deep Dive: Dragon Power, the Ultimate Skill

Qin’s ultimate, Dragon Power, is deceptively simple but incredibly effective.

For 8 seconds, it:

• Applies Wound to all enemies (healing becomes useless).
• Boosts attack speed by 25% for all allies.
• Grants Cleave to all Wind Immortals (splashing 50% of normal attack damage to a nearby enemy).

This skill turns slow teams into aggressive tempo machines and completely shuts down stall-based enemies. Qin doesn’t need to be fast himself, his power comes from how he makes your whole team faster and more importantly, prevent ennemy to be healed.

Mael’s Opinion: Dragon Power doesn’t feel like an “ult” at first, but you realize it’s the reason your opponents fall apart faster. In my builds, I try to rotate it as early and often as possible.

5. Artifact Focus: Qin’s Chariot

Qin’s exclusive artifact, Qin’s Chariot, enhances the Cleave effect: instead of hitting one nearby target, Wind Immortals hit two.

That extra splash makes a massive difference in Wind or Earth-Wind hybrid comps, especially when paired with Alexander and Barca, who rely on constant basic attacks.

On top of its performance impact, it’s very accessible:

• Mysterium Box
• Stellar Compass event
• Time Rift Breaker shop
• Artifact selection chests

For attributes, prioritize Dodge % and Surge to keep Qin active longer and help him rotate his ult more frequently.

Mael’s Opinion: One of the easiest artifacts to justify upgrading. That said, the exclusive effect isn’t always useful unless you’re running Alex Barca. If you’re lucky and get the attributes shown above on a Qin artifact, go for it. If not, any support artifact with the right stats will do just fine.

6. Choosing the Right Skills for Qin

Because Qin is a support without healing, you need to equip skills that enhance his tempo control and team damage. He also benefits from energy regeneration boosts to rotate his ultimate more often.

Great options include:

• Speed Blessing: Makes your whole team strike faster — core synergy.
• War Blessing: Increases early burst — perfect if you want to win within 12 seconds.
• Energy Suppression or Oaken Guard: Defensive choices to limit enemy pressure.
• No Escape: Keeps squishy enemies in place for longer punishment.
• Fighting Master: Makes Qin immune to control effect - must have for wound strategies and main usage case.
• Purification: If equipped with Fighting Master already, adding Purification allows to cleanse 1 random ally from control effect, further adding control immunity to your team.

Mael's Opinion: Avoid healing or tank-based skills, Qin isn’t there to outlast the fight. He’s meant to flip it early by disrupting enemies and boosting your team’s pace. I’m currently running Fighting Master on him. It guarantees his wound lands every time, which is exactly what I need to stay competitive in my server’s meta.

Beyond skills, you want fast energy regen on him. If you’re running a double support setup like Qin–Zenobia, it’s super effective to use Zenobia’s talent to boost Qin’s base energy regen. That little boost means he casts his ultimate not just faster — but more often. And that’s exactly what you want.

7. Top Team Synergies: Wind, Fire, and Hybrids

Qin’s versatility lets him fit into several meta and off-meta teams. Let’s look at the most successful setups:

Earth-Wind Hybrid

Alexander – Hannibal – Qin – Zenobia

This is the classic lineup. Qin boosts the team’s tempo, enabling Alex and Barca to strike faster and apply pressure early. Zenobia brings healing and sustain, helping the frontline stay alive through burst phases.

It’s a great early-game comp that continues to scale with artifact upgrades.

Traditionally, this team ran with Demeter as the Earth Dragon. But with recent buffs to Zephyr, the Wind Dragon, the synergy has shifted. Zephyr now fits better in this lineup by enhancing speed and pressure, making it a more aggressive and dynamic team overall.

Earth-Shadow-Wind Hybrids

Option 1: Charles – Qin – Alex – Zenobia

This team brings more sustain than the classic Barca, Alex hybrid above, thanks to the addition of Charles. His shielding helps protect Alex, making the setup less burst-focused but more balanced overall, combining durability with strong, rapid damage from Alex.

Add Qin to the mix to apply Wound and shut down enemy healing, and you’ve got a well-rounded, free-to-play friendly team that holds up even in top-tier Conquest PvP.

Key tips:

• Use Zenobia’s talents to boost Qin’s energy regen.
• Equip Guard on Charles to shield Alex.
• Choose a Rapid artifact for Alex to maximize his attack output.

Option 2: Charles – YSS – Himiko – Qin

Another strong option is Charles – YSS – Himiko – Qin. Unlike the previous setup, Alex is out and Himiko takes over as your primary damage dealer.

This team shifts to a double tank formation, with YSS joining Charles to add more sustain and reduce incoming damage. Himiko becomes the centerpiece, delivering devastating magical damage. To unlock her full potential, focus on energy regeneration and protection from control effects.

Key skills to include:

• Battle Stance, Corrosive Power or Energy Mastery to accelerate her ultimates.
• Fighting Master to prevent her from being disabled.
• Heart of Arcana to maximize her burst potential.
• Other defensive skills like Oaken Guard, Energy Shield, Master'Aegis, or Assist to add shielding and durability.

Just like Zenobia’s talent helps Qin in other comps, here you’ll want to use Qin’s Battle Excitation talent to boost Himiko’s energy regeneration even further. With this setup, she can quickly cycle through her ultimate, targeting 4 enemies per cast, often wiping out key targets before they react.

Qin’s role is just as critical. His tempo boost and timely Wound apply pressure exactly when needed, making this magic-focused lineup especially lethal in longer fights and Conquest scenarios.

Fire Setup with Wu

Late Conquest: Wu – Qin – Trajan – Hippo

This Fire lineup is a top choice for low- to mid-spenders aiming to scale all the way through Conquest. It’s affordable, effective, and fully viable at high-end PvP with the right setup.

Qin plays a crucial role here as the support backbone. His ability to apply Wound shuts down enemy healing, which is critical when facing Holy or Earth comps. He also speeds up your entire team’s tempo, giving Wu more chances to trigger her devastating ultimate. Since Wu suffers from casting delays and relies on timing, Qin’s boost can make or break her impact.

In early seasons or before investing in Mathilda, Qin is your best bet. He’s:

• Easy to obtain and max
• Quick to set up with standard support skills
• Perfectly compatible with Wu’s burst damage playstyle

Team Breakdown:

• Wu: Your main carry. Runs DB + Chase for burst. Prioritize her artifact and talents.
• Trajan: Tank and crit buffer. Gets better with top-tier ToK skills.
• Hippo: Controls regen and adds damage. A must-have in late-game PvP.
• Qin: Glue of the team. Supports Wu and enables faster burst windows.

This team works in Arena, KVK, and IBL, with mid-tier talent trees and decent artifacts, you can punch well above your spend level.

Mael’s Opinion: Qin is one of the few supports I’ve run in both physical and magical comps — and he’s never felt out of place. He brings something unique: tempo control. Whether it's getting Alex to swing faster or helping Wu charge up her burn, Qin adapts. In this Fire setup, he doesn’t just hold the line — he accelerates the win condition.

Qin Emperor is the kind of Immortal that proves you don’t need to be a top-tier damage dealer or come behind a paywall to be irreplaceable. His control over tempo, his denial of enemy healing, and his ability to accelerate your team’s offensive phase make him a long-term investment especially for Free-to-Play and mid-spenders.

From early Arena to high-end Conquest, you’ll find him a reliable pick. He doesn’t scale out. He scales with your team. That makes him more than viable, it makes him essential.

Mael’s Final Take: If you’ve built around speed, burst, or healing disruption, Qin is your man. I’d never say he’s “meta-proof,” but he’s definitely meta-resistant. Put him in the right team, and he’ll punch far above his weight.
