Choso's last hope of reaching Ultimate Conquest

The alliance conquest season has reached its final round, and with it, Choso, one of the best FuK racers, found himself in a tough spot ahead of Ultimate Conquest. He and his alliance were one perfect victory away from reaching their goal for this season: top 16. However, victory was not enough. They needed to capture every building first, make every swap perfectly and hold until the very end as well as luck to be on their side. These tasks were something that were not impossible to reach, but were incredibly hard.

Choso knew that FuK was up to attempt this task, after all, they had to do so in the previous round as well, and they did it to perfection. He believed that if he put his speed to good use this time around, FuK would be able to qualify to the Ultimate Conquest for a second time in their history as an alliance. Their strength was on par with the other top 16 contenders, but their journey thus far was tough. They had 2 defeats under their belt, as well as 3 victories, a fourth was necessary for their goal.

Once the opponent was revealed, it was as if fate was shining upon FuK,.They were against an alliance which they had bested this season, BwF. They were their opponent for this round, the shared history of the both alliances went far back, as a great rivalry was once what defined them, but then coming to terms and becoming great allies ever since. Choso knew that with this opportunity, luck was on their side, he believed that as long as he himself would be able to capture the buildings, then FuK had the first chance in their timeslot to qualify for Ultimate Conquest, excluding FDH, who had bested them last time around.

Leviathan, the leader of FuK in Alliance Conquest, was ready to battle BwF with all of his might and use every strategy that came to his mind. He was going to take any given opportunity to push for FuK's points and qualification. Everyone shared the same feeling, however they also knew that BwF was going to stand in their way, especially the leader, Belladonna. She always wanted the best for her alliance, and this time it was no exception, she was going to try and get the best rewards possible out of the match, even though she knew they would lose.

When the races commenced, Choso knew exactly what he had to race for: warrior. It was the building assigned to him since the very first round of the season. He had a few failures in his attempts to capture it in the harder matches, however this was not the case in this match. Motivated by the stakes at hand, he pushed forward like never before, he was not going to lose, not today. The same mindset was shared by his FuK teammates, who have won all of their buildings. FuK was holding all of the buildings after the races had finished, it was a great start.

After the races, Leviathan always planned swaps with pre-established rally leaders, however, there seemed to have been a mistake on the enemy outpost. There was no slowmarcher, and instead, FuK had to attempt a hardswap. This was something that rightfully terrified Choso. Pulling off something of this calibre, in such a high stakes match, it was insanity, but it was also the best bet at holding the building long term.

Once the racer disbanded the outpost, Belladonna caught on to it, marched in an attempt to intercept. Choso couldn't bare to watch this, it felt as a losing race, but he forced himself to observe what will happen. To his surprise, Belladonna was slow, she did not manage to reach the outpost to his surprise, the hard swap was achieved!

That was one of the toughest moments that could've destroyed FuK's hopes, and with having pulled through it, there will not be any mistakes anymore. The next races and swaps were going to be flawless. Choso was going to race for the far port, something that he'd done for the entire season as well, he had experience on what to use to his advantage. However, when the bubble dropped, he felt that something was off. He gave it his all, but he felt slow, he was not the first to enter the building. But it did not matter, FuK captured both of the ports.

Leviathan double-checked if the slowmarch was present on both ports once again. This time there were no mistakes, no chances for Belladonna to interfere. The swaps were done flawlessly, and FuK continued to dominate the battlefield. They were on the right track to qualification, only a few obstacles left: Casterly Rock and defending against rallies. With luck on their side, they were going to accomplish the goal!

The rallies of BwF that followed made FuK afraid a building, but they were on edge due to the intensity. The defense that followed was nothing short of spectacular, with Leviathan himself surprised of its accuracy and strength.

When the Casterly Rock unlocked, the biggest point loss could be found there, and Choso knew that this time he needed to be the first to obtain it, losing the race was not an option. With the bubble down, he sprinted, he fully believed that he could obtain it, and without any issues: he managed to do it. Casterly Rock's race was won, FuK was close to a perfect match, all that was left was to finish the swap.

With Choso's experience and BwF's lack of a slowmarch, the swap went flawlessly. Belladonna was fully demoralised of the outcome, and did not pursue rallies further, she accepted the loss and granted FuK their chance at the Ultimate Conquest spot.

The match ended after an agonising wait that felt like ages, only thinking if they reached the desired top 16. Once FuK left the battlefield, they all waited for Leviathan to make the big announcement. Choso's eyes were filled with hope as he stared from a distance, he knew that he gave everything he had for this goal, and now it was here, the announcement is beginning...

''We have had a great season, and I want to thank everyone for your efforts, in my eyes, we were flawless. However, despite the amazing last 2 rounds, the impeccable wins were not enough for us to qualify, we have missed the top 16 by 20 points. We will have to reach it next time.'' Leviathan announced with a proud face and smile, but a broken voice.

Everyone was in shambles, they had tried their best, but it was not enough, how could they reach the Ultimate Conquest next season? no one seemed to have an answer, however, amongst these disheartened warriors stood Choso, who believed that through training, FuK would be able to reach those great heights next season.

They will have to make use of every moment until then. Every event mattered...
