The end is near - Arena of Honor - Season 3 Round 13

With just 2 rounds left from this Arena of Honor season the clock is ticking for [N0X]LadyKnight, she did great since she joined the team but still needs 2 wins in the last 2 rounds to get that much wanted Glory King rank. Preparation started as soon as the prior round ended, she ordered the blacksmiths to start forging valyrian steel swords day and night to equip her cavalry with them, she also got a few new weapons for her commanders and trained her dragons into using new skills. Time flew by while she was so occupied with preparations and it was now Sunday morning and she took the troops, her most trusted commanders and dragons and went to the Arena of Honor battlefield to meet with the team. Upon arrival she noticed a slight change in the team, Araxxor took MAYBE's place for this round.

Once everyone signed the pre-registration required papers, Tominy proceeded to register the team for the battle, and everyone waited patiently for the matchmaking to happen.

As the matchmaking only takes a few minutes, it wasn't long before the battlefield gates opened, and everyone entered to see for which house they will fight on this round. The fantastic 10 team was chosen by Arya Stark to fight for the House Stark in this round and together they headed to the frozen north of the battlefield and once they arrived, they, everyone deployed their camps around the clan castle. As always, in the few minutes remaining before the actual start of the battle, LadyKnight decided to send some scouts on the other houses to see whom they invited and what they're up to.

When the scouts returned with the reports, things weren't looking too bad for the team, of course all the other houses invited strong teams to fight for them, Greyjoy's even decided to go with a [RoD] team, but it was nothing that the fantastic 10 couldn't handle. With a high moral, everyone in the team was ready for the battle, and the battle didn't let itself waited as it started within just a few seconds. Everyone on the battlefield rushed to occupy and reinforce the strongholds and once the 2 minutes occupation time passed, the constructors started building the structures.

Tominy choose to go with spearmen camps for this fight and by looking on the map, it was looking like most of other houses decided to go with trading posts but there were a few that decided to challenge the fantastic 10 supremacy on the NPC buildings by also buildings military camps. The camps finished building just in time as the altars started opening and everyone needed their troops to start occupying them. Despite not being as strong, the [RoD] team of House Greyjoy decided to try and give as many troubles as possible all over the battlefield. First was [RoD]HeavensSake that tried to pick a fight with [BDR]lightYagami.

Very big mistake for HeavensSake as after just a few seconds of battle all his spearmen were bleeding to death and there was nothing his commanders could do to stop'it, all HeavensSake was able to do is take the few troops he had left and retreat before ending up with no troops at all. LadyKnight was also looking for targets that she could solo, and despite everyone being quite strong it didn't take long for her to fight a possible target she could deal with, [RoD] Ricardo RS and his cavalry.

Crushing victory for LadyKnight that boosted her moral even more but there was no time for celebration as ImperialRock made the call to take all Altar of the Maiden from enemies to slow down their points generation. LadyKnight instantly started scouting the Altars of Maiden to see which ones she can possibly claim for House Stark and scouting was a success as she found [EdF]hidardo residing in one and decided to challenge him to a duel.

Her commanders were stronger and better prepared for the battle, so she had no problem kicking hidargo out of the altar and claiming it for House Stark. With most of altars in their possession, the team had to slow down a bit on altars as it was half of battle now and time for city of glory to open for attacks.

ImperialRock kicked the neutral NPCs with a swift solo but now the hard part began, keeping the city for at least 4 minutes against the rallies made by the other houses. The leaders of the other houses didn't wait much before launching their attacks and despite having all 3 catapults, defending the City of Glory wasn't an easy task at all. Rallies were coming from all over the battlefield, there were so many troops lost on both sides, they were getting wounded faster than the medics could heal and bandage them. The reinforces in the team were on point and managed to save the City of Glory in between the rally hits and ultimately their effort was rewarded, City of Glory was now in House Stark's possession.

Once the protection bubble dropped, there were a few more rallies coming from the other houses, but seeing ImperialRock is a rock that they can't break they slowly gave up and instead concentrated on trying to get as many points as possible, so the rest of fight went quite smooth for House Stark.

The Fantastic 10 team managed to score yet another win, one that was quite harder than the score shows. For LadyKnight, that's great news as she's only 1 round away of getting Glory King rank, but that one round has to be a win. Can she do 'it? We'll all have to wait and see.
