Today’s match was of utmost importance — one that could shape the outcome of the current season.
The penultimate battle of Siege of Winterfell arrived for Neik and his companions after a bitter defeat suffered against FFS, a match that had been largely one-sided. That fourth-round loss had tarnished their perfect journey up to that point, where they had achieved three victories in three matches.
Today, HOH had the obligation to set their season back on the right track, and achieving a positive result in the next sixty minutes was crucial for them — to avoid leaving everything to chance in the final match of the season.
Deployed in great numbers on the battlefield and guided by the wise leadership of Spimmer, SiNa, Urielki, and AK0086, the group leaders prepared to lead their comrades to victory. As the final preparations were underway, they anxiously awaited to see who would stand in their way. The sharpening of swords and the neighing of horses echoed through a surreal silence among the members of HOH, fully aware of the weight of the match ahead — there was no room for lightheartedness.
In the distance, a banner slowly became visible, carried proudly by the approaching rival army on the opposite end of the battlefield — unmistakable symbols that swept away any doubt about the identity of their mysterious opponents.
It was...

VME
The powerful group, steadily making a name for itself among the most feared alliances of the western lands, was also aiming to secure a spot among the top twelve alliances of the season. Despite not being among the favorites, the season they had played so far spoke for them — a true revelation. Led by fierce warriors such as Vernei and MondryBogdan, they would make life difficult for any alliance standing in their way. However, to confirm themselves as the season's biggest surprise, they needed to emerge victorious today against HOH.
“We’re definitely the favorites in this match,” Spimmer began, addressing his companions. “But we absolutely must not underestimate our opponents, as that could be a fatal mistake for us,” he added, reminding everyone how crucial it was to stay focused and not be caught off guard by a seemingly weaker rival.
The battle was about to begin under the scorching sun above their heads. The short winter days were slowly giving way to the first signs of spring. The air was warmed by a strong sun, creating a vibrant and tense atmosphere. The ground, still damp in places from previous rains, promised an unpredictable clash where every misstep could prove costly. The warriors of both alliances exchanged determined glances, ready to give everything under the clear sky that seemed to silently watch the destiny about to unfold.

The beginning of the clash between the two alliances saw their forces split into equal groups to contest control across the entire battlefield — a rather ambitious decision by VME, but their leadership was convinced they could keep pace with their rivals.
At HotSprings, however, things did not go as planned for them. The group led by SiNa managed to prevail without much difficulty. The combat skills of HOH’s members surpassed those of their opponents, something they demonstrated from the very first stages of the battle, overwhelming their rivals and forcing them into retreat.
On the eastern side of the battlefield, after an initial phase where both alliances seemed evenly matched, the group under the wise guidance of Urielki also managed to assert dominance, pushing back their opponents. The first capture of the Armory was theirs, temporarily securing both its buff and that of HotSprings.

A satisfying start for Neik and his HOH companions, who secured the two most coveted objectives in the early stages of the SoW battles.
“Let’s not waste any time — push up close to their strongholds to isolate them from Winterfell,” was the strategy outlined by HOH’s leaders, urging their comrades to give no respite to their opponents. Neik immediately set off for the siege.
The pressure toward Greyjoy Stronghold 1 did not take long to build. Neik and his companions led the charge with determination, intent on immediately putting their rivals on the back foot, applying an aggressive tactic that had proven highly effective in the past.
At first, the defense set up by VME — composed of members retreating from Armory and others arriving to prepare for an imminent siege — seemed capable of holding the line. Their ranks withstood the first assaults with stubborn resilience, while the arena echoed with the heavy clash of steel. Yet it was only a matter of time: the forces led by Urielki, AK0086, SiNa, and Spimmer converged from multiple fronts, steadily increasing the pressure until the enemy lines finally broke apart.
In an attempt to turn the tide, a VME member, xMariox, launched a bold maneuver, pushing deep into HOH’s rear lines to disrupt their advance. However, standing firmly in his path was Neik, ready to block his way and defend what they had fought so hard to secure. The rivals’ attempts to divide HOH’s forces ultimately failed.
"Excellent work," Urielki said, addressing his alliance comrades, who had so far played an outstanding match, extinguishing every enemy attempt before it could take root.
"The first spoils of the match will be available in a few moments. Let’s shift our focus to it," Spimmer added.
Thanks to the pressure exerted in the early phase, HOH managed to isolate their rivals from the vicinity of Winterfell, making the capture of the first spoils a mere formality. It was an important blow that immediately gave momentum to their strategy. The point gap between the two alliances was starting to grow significantly.
Meanwhile, in the southern part of the battlefield, the fight raged on relentlessly. VME, determined not to give up the contest too soon, fought fiercely to regain ground. Little by little, they managed to wrest control of a few buildings, sowing new doubts about the final outcome of the clash.
However, that brave resistance ended up granting precious time to HOH, who, without hesitation, seized the second spoils of the match as well, further widening the gap between the two alliances. Keeping the battle away from the vicinity of Winterfell was part of HOH’s strategy, ensuring that their members could secure the spoils without difficulty. Everything was proceeding perfectly for HOH, who were proving they had left behind the bitter defeat suffered in the previous round.
“Let’s move towards the enemy base,” was the strategy laid out by the leadership, aiming to deliver the final blow to rivals who now had little hope of completing a comeback.
Building on their accumulated advantage, HOH pushed the assault all the way to the edges of the enemy base, suffocating every attempt at a counterattack.
The difference in motivation between the two alliances was becoming increasingly evident: while HOH members effortlessly repelled the isolated raids of their rivals, the gap continued to widen. Neik, who faced off against several opponents, could see with his own eyes the resignation on their faces as they realized victory would not be theirs at the end of the match.
In the end, with all hope gone and defeat now certain, VME could do nothing but abandon the battle, thus sealing HOH’s definitive victory.

MVP's
The best fighters of the match were:
R0nY for HOH, with his relentless siege near the enemy base, reaped the rewards of his efforts by securing first place in the final match rankings. He was a real thorn in the side of the rival alliance today.
Vernei for VME, without a doubt, was the one among his team who believed and fought until the very end, but it wasn’t enough. Teamwork could not be defeated by the strength of individuals alone.
"An excellent match. The next round will be decisive. Let’s hope fate gives us an opponent within our reach, but whoever it may be, we will fight until the end!" were the rousing words of HOH's leadership before leaving the battlefield.
The victory over VME was not just a triumph on the field, but a strong message to the entire competition. After the setback against FFS, Neik and his teammates proved they could rise again in the most delicate moments, steering their path back on course. With only one match left in the season, HOH had regained their confidence and belief in their abilities, ready to fight with everything they had for a place among the top twelve alliances at the end of the season. Will they make it? We’ll find out soon!
