SIR ST's mistake in the 7th round of AoH

Arena of Honor was a dark battlefield, where only one faction could stand above all, they would be the only true victors and everyone else will only get scraps, or maybe even everything taken away from them. The latter was sadly the fate which SIR ST had experienced the entirety of this season, most due to his lack of a team, he was unable to go past the 5th place in the rankings. This would be something that usually demoralises a fighter, but for him, it could only fuel his desire to try harder and harder each round in hopes that he will reach a better result. For now, it was futile, but he was not giving up, today he was going to head into the Arena of Honor all alone once again.

In the Arena of Honor 6 factions battle it out for occupation of buildings which provide points and buffs alike. A few of the buildings stood above all, and with various strategies, one could choose what the best points obtaining way was going to be. SIR ST was a fan of trading posts, but sadly for him, most of the teams he was a part of, denied him the opportunity of buildings them, instead relaying on the capture of the most wanted building of all: the City of Glory. This feat was something only the best of the best on the battlefield could wish to achieve, but despite SIR ST's strength, he was never able to be the one to do it.

Going in alone in the arena of honor put him always at a big disadvantage, which he believed could be overcome if his strength and luck aligned at least once this season. However, sadly for him, that did not seem to be the case, as his synergy with the teammates he was granted by the Old Gods was never a good one. But despite him trying once again to go into the arena of honor alone, it was not due to not learning from past mistakes, instead he wished to overcome the difficulty at least one time before forming his own team.

With great hope in heart, he headed into the battlefield to meet his opponents and teammates for this round, but as soon as he saw his new team, he was left curious as to what they could accomplish, he had no idea who they were other than them being fighters from G2L, an alliance that is similarly sized to his own teammates in VME. This left him knowing that he would be the most powerful force of the group, but he hoped that the opponents were going to be on the weaker side instead.

After scouting the battlefield in a hurry, he realised that he was by far the strongest on the battlefield, it was his time to shine and capture the City of Glory. As soon as he realised it, he notified his teammates, who this time quickly complied with his request of building infantry camps and try to win the battle for the City of Glory. In the last round, when his request was made, he was promptly ignored, G2L was a great change compared to his previous teammates. The infantry camps were now fully constructed.

Once they were built, the fights over altars had begun, and SIR ST hurried to capture the first altars for his team, but as soon as he attempted it, something came to his attention: he had lost the first battle. This was unusual given that he was the strongest, thus when he analysed the battle report, he could see he was stronger, yet he lost, he had forgotten his fighting gear, now his hopes to capture the City of Glory had vanished.

It was a bitter reality-check that hit him, he was too focused on the past rounds and what could happen in this one, that he ignored the most vital point of the preparation, the very basics for every fighter, he was now at a loss for words. His teammates had given him faith and listened, yet he had already let them down. However, they wished to still attempt it, but SIR ST was doubtful, as after the beginning of the altars fights, they were sitting in a 6th place position.

The remainder of the fights over altars had gone poorly for G2L, but they were a positive bunch, hoping to somehow make a turnaround with the City of Glory, as they believed in their strength even without SIR ST as the backbone of it.

After the City of Glory unlocked, havoc started on the battlefield, with the factions all aiming to capture it right from the beginning. Everyone was ready to give it a try given that SIR ST was demoralised and without gear.

In the initial fights, G2L had managed to capture the City of Glory briefly, but each time they were kicked out by strong infantry, something that SIR ST would have been able to hold against. This fact hurt him more and more as he looked at the reports. However, G2L was strong enough to get near the capture, but there were too many factions and warriors fighting for the City of Glory, there was just no way to secure it.

In the end, no faction had captured the City of Glory, but that didn't help change the rankings at which G2L stood. They were still in the 6th place and nothing changed that for them, their only mistake was building the infantry camps, SIR ST's call was the only failure that led them to the last place.

Seeing this, SIR ST was even more demoralised, but the season was not over just yet, this defeat was going to change his ways, as making a great team lose was not something he wished for, he was going to try and make up to them for it, one way or another in the future. He started thinking about creating his own team, or perhaps joining G2L's team until they will win the City of Glory once. The future had many options for him, the season was only at its midway point.
